Immortal Venerable of the Beast Race
Chapter 200 - 200 124 Three-year_1

200: 124 Three-year_1 200: 124 Three-year_1 Shen Long was about to defend himself, when the green-robed man’s chest lit up with a green light, and a green python phantom briefly appeared, emitting a shrill hissing noise.

Upon hearing this noise, Shen Long immediately felt weak all over, unable to muster any strength in his body.

His chest lit up with a blinding white light, and a thick white light screen appeared—it was the Ice Silkworm Amulet, a protective item given to him by Ice Silkworm True Person.

The dense shadows of the staff continuously struck the white light screen, emitting muffled sounds, but the light screen remained unmovable.

The green python phantom opened its mouth and spat out a stream of green light that fell on the white light screen.

The screen immediately started emitting green smoke, and its spiritual light dimmed.

The green staff burst forth with blinding green light and smashed against the white light screen again.

The light screen shattered like a bubble, but Shen Long’s figure retreated, also avoiding the green staff’s attack.

The green staff struck the ground, tearing it open and leaving a long, thick crack.

Hundreds of giant fireballs flew towards the green-robed brute.

The green-robed brute swung his green staff, scattering the incoming giant fireballs into pieces.

Flames scattered in all directions, landing on the ground and exploding into numerous large craters.

Four shining yellow throwing knives shot out, arriving in front of the green-robed brute in an instant.

The green-robed brute swung his staff, deflecting the four yellow throwing knives.

He furrowed his brows as if sensing something, and the green python phantom opened its mouth and spat out a stream of green light, striking the ground and also exploding into a big crater amidst rising green smoke.

Two thick green vines broke through the soil, entangling the green-robed brute’s feet, who struggled fiercely to no avail.

A golden light swept over and landed on the body of the green-robed brute, who suddenly froze, his eyes full of fear.

Shen Long held the Jinning Mirror in his hand, his expression cold and detached.

The Jinning Mirror could immobilize cultivators, spirit beasts, or magic artifacts, though only for a limited time.

The higher the cultivation of the cultivator, the shorter the duration of the immobilization.

For experts, mere seconds could determine the outcome of a battle.

The Iron Tail Scorpion burrowed out from underground, its body covered in a thick layer of earthen armor, opening its mouth to spray out a stream of yellow poisonous fire which landed on the legs of the green-robed brute.

At the same time, its tail twitched, striking the right calf of the green-robed brute.

After striking its target, it burrowed back into the ground.

The green-robed brute felt a numbness in his right calf and his brow furrowed deeply.

His body radiated bright green light, and though he managed to free himself, he was surprised to find his body felt weak, and he appeared incredibly frail.

A poison rampaged within him.

The green-robed brute roared, his chest emitting a blinding green light.

The green python phantom burst forth with an equally blinding green light, and the golden light ruptured inch by inch, restoring his freedom.

Hundreds of giant fireballs flew towards him once again, heat waves billowing.

The green-robed brute hastily swung his green staff to meet them, smashing the giant fireballs into smithereens.

Continuous booms resonated as flames dispersed, turning the area around him into a red sea of fire with astonishing heat waves.

Before the flames dissipated, another hundred giant fireballs pounded down again.

Wielding his green staff, he countered with a series of shadowy strikes, pulverizing each fireball into dust.

A green tornado suddenly swept over, arriving instantly in front of the green-robed brute.

The green python phantom opened its mouth and spat out a green light, striking the green tornado which exploded, unleashing hundreds of giant Wind Blades that were all caught by the green-robed brute wielding his staff.

His face flushed deep red, he spewed a large mouthful of black blood, his body going limp, unable to even stand firmly.

Yet again, hundreds of giant fireballs shot out, a few striking the green-robed brute who was quickly engulfed in fierce flames.

Before the flames had even cleared, a giant Wind Blade fell from the sky, piercing into the sea of fire, a muffled sound suggesting it had struck something as solid as a wall of copper and iron.

Shen Long cast a spell, and countless giant fireballs emerged in the sky, bombarding the opposite side.

Hurling spells at a rapid pace, he unleashed a relentless barrage of fireballs, the roaring flames engulfing the area.

After ten breaths, the land within a thousand paces turned to scorched earth, and the green-robed brute lay within a large pit, his body badly mangled.

The poison from the Iron Tail Scorpion was too potent; coupled with Shen Long’s multiple spells of Great Perfection, the green-robed brute had no chance of resisting.

A loud horn sounded, and the Barbarian Cultivators began to retreat one after another, with the Human Cultivators not pursuing.

In this minor skirmish, both the Barbarian Tribe and the Human Clan lost hundreds of Foundation Establishment Cultivators.

Relative to each other, the Human Cultivators suffered fewer losses.

With their Formations, Talismans, and Spirit Beasts being comparatively more numerous, the Barbarians mainly relied on their Totem Techniques, and had fewer strategies to use.

Shen Long ransacked the enemies’ possessions and returned to Refuse Barbarian City.

In this battle, Shen Long had slain many Foundation Establishment Cultivators, showcasing his strength to the other cultivators.

Back at the Spirit Control Garden, Shen Long took out the seized Storage Bags, four in total.

He emptied the contents: over thirty thousand Spirit Stones, nine Magic Artifacts, and a wealth of Monster Beasts Materials.

Skilled Barbarian Cultivators were in the minority, and their fortunes were not considerable.

They had little reliance on magic artifacts.

In the Cloud Spirit Pavilion, Xu Yunfeng was speaking with Xu Yiqing.

“It truly is the Jinning Mirror.

If we had that artifact, our losses wouldn’t have been so great,”

Xu Yiqing said.

Since the beginning of the war, the Xu Family had lost many Foundation Establishment Cultivators, suffering heavy losses.

In today’s battle, upon seeing Shen Long use the Jinning Mirror, they harbored an even deeper grudge against him.
