Three minutes later, Xiu Wu and the soldier heard someone land on the roof of their car. Xiu Wu looked up and saw Zhu Lin sitting on the roof. He closed the box and climbed onto the roof. Seeing that it was her boyfriend, Zhu Lin smiled and said, "You are awake. How do you feel?"

Xiu Wu sat next to her and said, "I’m fine now."

After saying that, he took out the phoenix feather cloak from the Qiankun bag and put it on the shoulders of the two of them. He pulled her close and let her rest on his shoulder while saying, "Go to sleep. I will wake you up when we find a place to rest."

After deciding that, they spread out to find a place to rest while Xiu Wu carried Zhu Lin to the building and climbed up to the rooftop. He sat on the rooftop with her in his arms, guarding her while observing the surrounding situation.

After a peaceful night, they left the building early the next morning before dawn. After five days of fighting zombies and mutants on the road, they finally arrived at the outskirts of B City. After getting out of the car, Xiu Wu looked at the ruined city in the distance.

Seeing how strong the devil energy that enveloped the city was, he frowned slightly. Seeing him frowning and looking at the city, Tan Wei walked up to him and said, "Lao Xiu, let’s take a rest first before we enter the city."

Xiu Wu nodded to him and said, "Mhm. Let them regain their strength as soon as possible. Also, distribute more supplies and ammunition just in case."

"Boss, there is good news!" He said excitedly as he ran into the office of the underground supermarket.

"What good news? Have you guys found the location of those zombies?" Lei Haozhan asked calmly.

Wu Yichen shook his head and said, "Not yet. Three teams are inspecting the dam, but so far they have found nothing."

Wu Yichen looked at them and said with a bright smile: "I just saw a lot of military vehicles approaching B City."
