Zhu Lin held the recording ball and injected a little bit of her divine energy to activate the recording ball.

After a few seconds, the recording ball glowed softly and began to record images and sounds around her. Zhu Lin took the recording ball and explored the secret laboratory without missing any corner. Six hours later, she walked out from the end of the sewer and put the recording ball into the Qiankun bag.

Looking at the dark winter sky, she activated the Thousand Moon Steps technique and the Heavenly Eyes technique and then ran back to the Wu Lin base. When she arrived at the Wu Lin base, it was already past ten o’clock in the evening. Just as she put away her phoenix feather cloak, she saw Xiu Wu walking over.

She smiled at him and said, "Xiu Wu, I’m back."

Looking at her smile, Xiu Wu smiled tenderly at her and wanted to hug her, but stopped when he smelled something on her body. He frowned and asked, "Lin’er, where are you going today?"

Zhu Lin cast the cleansing spell on herself, and then said, "It’s a long story. Let’s go back first, and I will tell you everything."

Xiu Wu looked at her for a few seconds, held her hand, and asked, "Have you eaten?"

Hearing his question, Zhu Lin chuckled and said, "Xiu Wu, I don’t need to eat at all. I only eat because I like the food you make."

After hearing her words, Xiu Wu’s mood instantly rose. He smiled and said, "Then I will prepare delicious food for you when we get home."

After saying that, the two of them walked back to the villa on the top of the mountain. When they got home, Xiu Wu looked at Zhu Lin and said, "Lin’er, you can rest first while I cook for you."

Hearing his words, Zhu Lin nodded and sat on the sofa in the living room to rest, while Xiu Wu walked to the kitchen. Not long after, she heard the sound of cooking coming from the kitchen.

Thirty minutes later, Xiu Wu’s voice came from the dining room: "Lin’er, dinner is ready."

Looking at the dining room, Zhu Lin stood up from the sofa and walked to the dining room. Seeing the delicious dishes on the dining table, she sat on a chair and said, "You don’t need to prepare these dishes. I can just eat any simple dish."

Putting a bowl of noodles in front of her, Xiu Wu sat next to her and said, "I won’t give you just anything to eat. I want to give you the best things in the world."

Looking at her slightly blushing cheeks, Xiu Wu reached out and gently touched her face and asked, "Now, can you tell me what you did today?"

Zhu Lin nodded and then began to tell him about her discovery of the water monsters under the frozen lake, and her discovery of another secret laboratory in the village near S City after she followed a group of military vehicles and high-ranked zombies.

After retelling everything to him, she took out the recording ball, placed it on the table, and said, "Everything I discovered in the secret laboratory is recorded in this recording ball. You can use it as you like."

Seeing Xiu Wu pick up the recording ball and activate it, Zhu Lin said, "When I was following the people of the secret organization, I saw them opening a secret door from the wall. Although the entrance I found was dirty and smelly, it was a better choice if we wanted to get into the secret lab without getting caught by those people."

Putting away the communication device, Xiu Wu thought: ’Based on the information we have gathered so far, it looks like I will have to accelerate my plans.’
