After listening to the report, Lei Tiliang tapped the top of his cane with his index finger and said slowly: "Interesting."

After saying this, he stood there in silence for a long time before saying, "Investigate this Wu Lin base. I want a detailed report in two days."

"Yes, Chairman. I will investigate them immediately." The personal assistant replied with a lowered head.

After the personal assistant left the office, Lei Tiliang looked at the gloomy winter sky and said, "Haozhan, you can’t run away. No matter where you hide, I will find you. Killing your parents is indeed a mistake. But since they would rather die than hand you over, there is nothing Grandfather can do except kill them."

The moment Lei Zhicheng heard Lei Tiliang calling his elder cousin ’Subject Zero’, hatred flashed in his eyes. His elder cousin was the only person he looked up to and was kind to him, but he was forcibly taken away from his parents and used as an experiment subject by their grandfather.

Thinking of the day he discovered his grandfather sacrificing Lei Haozhan for his crazy ambition, Lei Zhicheng clenched his hands tightly. The next second, his expression returned to normal and he said calmly: "We only found traces of my elder brother, but we did not find his specific location."

Hearing his answer, Lei Tiliang frowned slightly and said, "Zhicheng, that zombie is not your elder brother. Haozhan died a long time ago."

After hearing what he said, Lei Zhicheng’s expression didn’t change as he thought: ’It’s you who killed him. How dare you say such things to me right now? One day, I will make you pay the price for killing my second uncle’s family.’

After speaking, Lei Tiliang observed Lei Zhicheng’s expression for a while. Seeing how calm he was, Lei Tiliang lost interest and said, "I know what you are capable of. Find the experiment Subject Zero as soon as possible. Without him, the experiment cannot continue."

Lei Zhiheng lowered his eyes to hide his hatred and said calmly: "Yes, Grandfather."

Lei Tiliang waved his hand and said, "You can leave."

After leaving the office, Lei Zhicheng looked at the closed door for a while before walking away. Leaving the main building, Lei Zhicheng went to the military warehouse. When the guard saw him coming, he saluted him and opened the door for him.

Passing through the gate, he went directly to the weapons warehouse. When he arrived, he saw his team members already there waiting for him. The vice-captain looked at his expression and said, "Is your grandfather urging you again?"

Lei Zhicheng nodded and began to put weapons and ammunition into his backpack. Seeing that he didn’t want to talk about that matter, the vice-captain stopped asking further questions.

A few minutes later, Lei Zhicheng looked at the staff working in the warehouse and said, "I want twenty boxes of ammunition, five boxes of explosives, two boxes of weapons, and thirty boxes of military rations."

As soon as he finished speaking, his team members and the staff were stunned. The staff thought he heard it wrong and asked, "Young Master Zhicheng, can you repeat your words?"

Lei Zhicheng looked at him and repeated what he said, "I want twenty boxes of ammunition, five boxes of explosives, two boxes of weapons, and thirty boxes of military rations."

After hearing the same words from him, the staff looked at him and asked, "Young Master Zhicheng, the amount of supplies you want exceeds your rank’s permission. Do you have Chairman Lei’s permission? Can you show me the document?"

Lei Zhicheng, carrying his backpack, looked at the staff and asked calmly: "Do you think I would have come to get the supplies without permission from my grandfather?"

The staff member looked at him for a few seconds, thought for a moment, and then said, "All right. Young Master Zhicheng, please wait a moment. I will prepare the supplies right away."

After the staff went to prepare the supplies he wanted, the vice-captain looked at him and asked in a low voice: "Brother, have you decided to leave?"

Since we have found his traces, I decided to leave this place and look for my elder brother."

Knowing how close their captain and his elder cousin were, the team members looked at each other for a moment, and then the vice-captain said, "All right. Since you have decided, we will support your decision."

Looking at their calm expressions, Lei Zhicheng said sincerely: "Thank you, brothers."

One of the team members patted him on the shoulder and asked, "When will we set off?"

"We will set off immediately after loading the supplies." Lei Zhicheng replied calmly.

After waiting for more than thirty minutes, the staff finally came back. He handed the permit to Lei Zhicheng, and said, "Young Master, this is the permit to leave the base. We have prepared a military transport vehicle and three military vehicles for you. You can leave at any time."

After receiving the document from the staff, Lei Zhicheng looked at the team members and said, "Let’s go."
