Zhu Lin looked at her disciple’s pale face and quickly picked him up. Tu Tu saw her serious expression and quickly jumped up and sat on her shoulder. Two minutes later, Zhu Lin walked into the guest room.

Xiu Wu saw the unconscious Zheng Jinnan in her arms and said, "Don’t tell me that your disciple is your contracted beast, the Ice Qilin, Shuang?"

Hearing his words, Zhu Lin nodded and then placed Zheng Jinnan next to the boy. The moment the two of them lay on the bed side by side, ice-blue light and red light bloomed from their hearts at the same time. As the two rays of light connected, Zheng Jinnan and the boy’s condition improved at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Seeing that the boy’s condition had improved, Xiu Wu said, "He will be fine now if I absorb the devil energy."

After saying that, Xiu Wu tapped the center of the boy’s eyebrows with his index and middle fingers. The next second, a burst of devil energy flew out from the boy’s upper dantian and entered Xiu Wu’s fingertips.

Zhu Lin stood beside him and saw the boy’s face turning pale. She thought for a moment and opened the boy’s tattered and dirty clothes. She tapped his lower dantian with her fingers, injecting divine energy directly into his lower dantian.

While Xiu Wu absorbed the devil energy from the boy’s upper dantian, Zhu Lin continued to inject divine energy into the boy’s lower dantian. The two of them worked together for more than two hours before Xiu Wu retracted his fingers and said, "The devil energy in his body has been removed."

Zhu Lin breathed a sigh of relief after hearing what he said. As soon as her body relaxed, she staggered and was caught by Xiu Wu before she fell to the floor. Seeing her pale face covered with cold sweat, Xiu Wu felt heartbroken.

After listening to his words and looking at his worried expression, Zhu Lin reached out to smooth out his frowns and said weakly: "I’m sorry for worrying you, Ah Wu."

Hearing her affectionate call, everything Xiu Wu wanted to say was stuck in his throat. He stared at her for a long time, sighed, touched her forehead with his, and said helplessly: "I really can’t do anything to you."

After saying that, Xiu Wu carried her back to her bedroom. Putting her on the bed, he said gently: "You should rest first."

Has anyone in the Six Realms done something to the Reincarnation Stone? If this is the case, what is the purpose of that person in doing this?’

Thinking this, Xiu Wu glanced downstairs and saw Lu Qiu coming back from outside. He thought for a while, then went downstairs and said, "Lu Qiu, I have something to ask you."

Hearing his words, Lu Qiu looked up and saw Xiu Wu walking down from the second floor. He sat on the sofa in the living room and asked, "Devil God, what do you want to ask?"

Hearing Lu Qiu call him the Devil God, Xiu Wu frowned slightly but said nothing. He sat on the sofa in front of Lu Qiu and said, "I heard from Lin’er that you can contact the demons in the Six Realms."

Xiu Wu looked at him for a few seconds and asked, "What do you want from me as payment for your investigation of the Reincarnation Stone?"

"Lift the seal on my soul." Lu Qiu replied after a moment of silence.

Xiu Wu nodded to him and said, "No problem. I can lift the seal of your soul, but you need to help me investigate this matter first."

Lu Qiu didn’t believe what he said, so he shook his head and said, "I can’t believe what you said. Unless a blood oath is made at the expense of True God Zhu Lin’s primordial soul."
