Before Xiu Wu could answer, someone knocked on the door. Xiu Wu glanced at his watch, and saw that it was already ten o’clock in the evening. For the survivors who were living in this military base, it’s time for them to come out and start their day.

Tan Wei stood up from his seat and said, "I will open the door."

"Who is it?" Tan Wei asked as he opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, he saw Teng Bai standing outside. Tan Wei asked in surprise: "Captain Teng, what brings you here?"

Teng Bai glanced at the sleeping children in the living room and asked, "Is Miss Zhu at home?"

Hearing his question, Tan Wei asked, "Do you need anything from Xiao Lin?"

Knowing that they are a team, Teng Bai replied calmly: "Commander Mao reached an agreement with Miss Zhu a few days ago. I came here to invite her to the supply division."

After saying that, Tan Wei walked back to the kitchen, while Teng Bai stood outside the open door, looking at the sleeping children with interest.

Back in the kitchen, Tan Wei looked at Zhu Lin and said, "Xiao Lin, Captain Teng is here to find you. He said he came to invite you to the supply division. It was about the agreement you had with Commander Mao a few days ago."

Hearing what he said, Zhu Lin nodded, stood up from the chair, and said, "Mhm. Thank you, Tan Wei."

After watching her walk out of the kitchen, Xiu Wu looked at Ji Yang and Tan Wei, and asked, "What agreement does she have with Commander Mao?"

When he asked, Tan Wei and Ji Yang shrugged and shook their heads. Coming out of the kitchen, Zhu Lin saw Teng Bai waiting outside the house.

She smiled slightly at him and asked, "Captain Teng, is there anything I can do for you?"

Teng Bai nodded to her and said, "Good evening, Miss Zhu. I am here to invite you to the supply division. We have prepared the seeds and are just waiting for you to check the seeds and complete the transaction."

Hearing what he said, Zhu Lin remembered her agreement with Mao Yan. She nodded and said, "All right. Please wait a moment. I need to inform my friends first."

After saying that, she walked back to the kitchen and said, "I’m going out with Captain Teng for a while. You don’t have to wait for me."
