Chapter 231 - 231 89 Outing with Master_3

231: Chapter 89 Outing with Master_3 231: Chapter 89 Outing with Master_3 But after patrolling the area, Li Ping’an felt much less uneasy.

The various marketing concepts of Castcloud Hall had a demoralizing effect on the Qi Cultivators who were accustomed to bartering goods.

That Aunt Xiaoyue was truly a master of this field; she managed every magical treasure shop in an orderly manner, with all shops featuring ‘young girl’ sales assistants.

—They were all like Wen Ling, appearing young and innocent, but in fact, they were seasoned veterans in the market town circle.

After wandering around the central part of the East Continent for a few days, Li Ping’an and Qing Su discreetly hurried towards the border region of the East Continent, Southern Continent, and the Ruins of Heaven.

The so-called Ruins of Heaven was a wasteland in the middle section.

If one opened the map of the four continents of heaven and earth, it could be seen that the East, West, South, and North continents were not neatly arranged.

The East Continent and Southern Continent were the largest, with a vast area of connection in the southeast, surrounded by the East Sea and the Southern Sea.

The size of the Western Continent was intermediate, roughly two-thirds of the East Continent, but most of its areas were harsh mountains and evil rivers, deserts and dense forests with few spirit veins.

The Northern Continent was the smallest in size, but the miasma of the Northern Continent continued to spread outwards, with the miasma cloud covering the North Sea in the north and a vast expanse of poisonous miasma forest in the south.

Separated by tens of thousands of miles of clear waves, the Western Continent and the Northern Continent had a large connecting land area to the southeast of the Western Continent as well.

This middle area that rose up around the four continents did not have a unified name, mainly divided into more than a dozen regions.

The area close to the Northern Continent had ‘Myriad Barrier Poison Mountain’ to the east and ‘Hundred Silence Poison Sea’ to the west.

The long area close to the Western Continent was connected to the ‘Heavenly Ridge Broken Mountain’, stretching tens of thousands of miles in the north, with the ‘Hundred Silence Poison Sea’, and the ‘Spirit Jue Desert’, a strange place without the surrounding of Spiritual Energy, in the middle.

Traveling ten thousand miles to the east from the eastern edge of the ‘Spirit Jue Desert’, one could find Kunlun Mountain, the sacred land of Qi Cultivators.

—Kunlun Mountain is located in the western part of the middle spot among the four continents.

In the southeast corner of the middle area, there lies the Ruins of Heaven, stretching a hundred thousand miles from east to west and sixty thousand miles from north to south.

Just by hearing the name, one can understand the origin of this place.

Indeed, the Ruins of Heaven is the area spread out after the Ancient Heavenly Court smashed down to the earth, with the tiers of the Nine Heavens askew.

Since the fall of the Heavenly Court to this day, the Ruins of Heaven has been the favorite treasure hunting ground for human race Qi Cultivators, and ancient secret realms have continuously emerged here, but as the footprints of human race Qi Cultivators became more frequent, the Ruins of Heaven had been emptied by human race Qi Cultivators, and secret realms have become increasingly rare.

When Li Ping’an caught sight of a corner of the Ruins of Heaven, all he saw was ruins and broken walls.

Qing Su said, “There are still some relics of great halls within the Ruins of Heaven; do you want to take a look?”

“No, Master,” Li Ping’an laughed, “Let’s head south.

I’d like to see the Skycutter Great Array of the Southern Continent.”

“Hmm,” Qing Su agreed, and flew thousands of miles south from the edge of the Ruins of Heaven.

Li Ping’an’s eyes were gradually enveloped by golden light.

That pale golden light wall had just appeared before him.

This light wall, of unknown height, reached up to the heavens and down to the mountains; it stopped the white clouds but allowed the wind to pass freely.

Looking south from this spot, one could see the endless great plains at the foot of the mountains and a few ruined ancient cities standing on the plains—traces of the mundane world of the Southern Continent.

Was this the Skycutter Great Array that the Holy Mother had drawn by hand to envelop the entire Southern Continent?

Li Ping’an’s eyes were filled with emotion, and his Dao heart was constantly trembling.

In fact, just by coming close to this place, his bottleneck had already started to retreat.

Qing Su paused on a cloud for a moment and asked, “Disciple, have you seen enough?”

“Yes,” Li Ping’an smiled, “My bottleneck has begun to loosen, Master.

Let’s head west.

Please move slower; I will hide in your sleeve to meditate and cultivate the Dao.”

“Alright.”

Qing Su condensed a white cloud, sat cross-legged on it, and stuck close to the edge of the Skycutter Great Array, heading towards the western end of the Southern Continent.

Along the way, they would indeed encounter many human race Qi Cultivators.

The north side of the Skycutter Great Array was actually a relatively safe area, and over time, it had become the ‘corridor’ for Qi Cultivators to pass through.

Within Qing Su’s sleeve, the beetle that Li Ping’an had transformed into kept pondering.

‘Where does the Great Dao lead, and where does my path lie?’
