I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess -
Chapter 324 - 324: Excruciating Migraine? [Bonus]
What was going on with his body? And what even happened?
Holding his hand to his face, which became sore and painful to touch, he wiped away the blood staining his face and rubbed the blood in his eyes away that stained his vision red.
He stared at the back of his hand, questioning the reason why he had suddenly taken such a concerning amount of damage.
"Could it be... This rodent had resistance against my Trait?"
As the name suggests, his Trait allowed him to take over a person's body by dominating their mind by entering the person's Mana Realm.
However, the requirements needed for this to happen were that he needed to be stronger than the target and for his Mana Realm to be strong enough to swallow theirs.
But...
For some reason, upon activating his Trait, he felt as though he hadn't entered Lillian's Mana Realm. Instead, he found himself lost in a dark world without even a glimmer of light.
It was as though... He was swimming, or rather, floating on the surface of an ocean made of nothingness. But that was only until he felt something reach under his body, lifting him up before folding in on him...
Crushing him...
After that, he was shot back out of the intruder's mind, as though his entire existence was rejected from it.
Looking down at the strange individual, who continued to lie motionlessly on the ground.
And as he was staring at them, he couldn't help but raise the danger levels he had set for them in his mind.
Just as he thought that, he raised his mechanical arm, causing the hidden blade inside it to eject, sticking out and gleaming from its polished edges.
He raised it above Lillian's head, who still continued to remain still despite the dangers hanging over her head like a guillotine.
"If I can't take over your body, then there's no longer any reason to leave you alive."
And just as he was about to shoot out his arm and stab through the centre of Lillian's forehead, his vision was suddenly dyed a crimson red.
But it wasn't like last time when only a little bit of blood spilt out. Instead, it rushed out in streams.
However, that wasn't the end, for amidst his confusion, a spark flashed through his mind, followed by an unbearable pain that scorched his brain.
As he raised his hands to the side of his head, clutching it, he roared out in pain, "AARGH!"
Tides of pain washed over his mind in waves upon waves, never-ending and torturing his mind. It was as though he had exposed his mind to ice-cold needles that were doing surgery on his brain.
And after a moment, he finally recovered.
His body was drenched in sweat, and his face was stained with blood, making his already unappealing looks even more disturbing to look at.
He then huffed deeply:
"This... What in the world happened...? Had my Trait backfired on me?"
He shook his head at that possibility, finding it impossible because it wasn't explained in the Jester's description of his ability. So, what could it be?
And that was when he came to the conclusion that...
It was Lillian's doing.
Glancing down, he found the rodent he was looking for was gone. Not even a trace of her existence besides stains of her blood.
Where had they gone? Did they make use of his moment of excruciating and distracting pain as a way to escape?
He looked towards the stone gate, finding it without damage. It was still shut tight.
Ruling out that possibility, he was about to turn around, feeling something stab through the centre of his chest, tearing through his flesh and exiting out the front of his body.
It was a plain steel blade. Shorter than a regular sword but sharp nonetheless.
As even more blood erupted from his mouth, he heard the soft but cold voice of a familiar person behind him make itself known:
"That's the first stab."
Thalrek, stiffening, felt even more weakness across his body. It was like his mana was being drained as well as his life force.
And looking down, he found where the feeling originated from. It was coming from the sword.
Twisting his body around to get a look at the perpetrator, he used the silk legs sticking out of his back as weapons, swinging them aimlessly—only to find there wasn't anyone behind him.
He quickly stitched up the mortal wound through his chest and hid the mechanical enhancement underneath, as well as the bloody slit caused by her stab.
He breathed harshly, the smell of blood staining his breath as he got back up to his feet, albeit with some trouble, as he stumbled a bit.
He still felt the weakness that came from having his vitality stolen.
He then looked off to the side, staring in the distance and finding a lone figure with a black cloak, a blurry mask, and a dark chestplate with a pulsating violet gem.
In their left hand, they held a stained shortsword that had its blade coated in his blood.
He then shifted his gaze to their other arm, which was raised in the air.
Lillian's right arm, which was without a hand, was currently fed by translucent lines that had turned a vibrant crimson.
There were at least a dozen attached to one arm, all contributing to the creation of another hand.
He widened his eyes, trailing where the lines had originated and found that they were attached to his back.
He then heard her mutter:
"You hold such a great deal of vitality within you... I wonder how long it would take to reduce you into a dried husk."
He then watched as Lillian looked towards the direction of her severed hand. And in the blink of an eye, she suddenly appeared right beside it.
He watched as she bent over, picking up her severed hand, pulling off the chainmail gauntlet and placing it back on her right hand before tossing it aside.
Clicking his tongue in irritation, he severed the links she had used to connect them together before steadying himself on his feet.
Summoning his scythe, he intentionally swung it behind him, causing a force to propel him in Lillian's direction.
However, just as he raised his scythe over his shoulder and swung it down, he was shocked to find Lillian slashing at the ground beside her.
