Chapter 310: Chapter 2 Taiji

Hearing this, the man in white standing in the void slightly raised his eyebrows, a glint of bone-chilling light spilling from his silver-white eyes:

"How can there not be a conflict? This place is of great use to me."

As his words fell, he stretched out his silver-white palm forward.

A flip, a press!

Boom!

The remnant realms drifting around disintegrated, and the void itself seemed to turn upside down!

Endless streams of silver light burgeoned from between his fingers, instantly illuminating a vast expanse of the Boundary Sea.

This silver radiance interwove with itself, forming a colossal Spider Lily that struck down toward the colossal silhouette standing tall between heaven and earth!

"My temperament is rarely so tranquil, yet you do not cherish it."

Liang Hui chuckled as he stroked his palm, yet his eyes were as calm as if there wasn’t a shred of mirth in them.

He had not wanted to make a move, since the other party had arrived here first, and he was in a strange grand realm where everything surrounding them was unknown.

But forced to this point, he figured it was time to see what the other was made of.

Boom!

With a step from Liang Hui, the five-colored radiance around him grew even more intense, and in less than one thousandth of an instant, exploded with an indescribable brilliance of five colors.

The young man’s body grew and grew, in the blink of an eye becoming as vast as the world, as wide as heaven and earth.

With a slight movement of his form, his five fingers, like five differently colored Immortal Swords, created a wondrous illusion as if encompassing the cosmos and the sun and moon.

They moved randomly, at a speed that seemed slow yet was so fast it surpassed thought, and struck down directly!!

The silver Spider Lily and the five Immortal Swords made contact in the blink of an eye.

Boom! Rumble!

The void was burning, an infinite surge of energy boiling over, and just the force of their collision had overturned one Remnant Realm after another.

One hand silver-white, one palm five-colored, they had already clashed thousands, tens of thousands of times in an instant.

The roaring sound continuously echoed in the void.

Bang!

The Spider Lily shattered, specks of silver blood scattering across the void.

A palm emanating five-colored luminescence struck the body of the man in white in an instant.

His robe flapping, he was forced to take a half-step back under the immense force.

Across his skin that glimmered with silver-white, like a water surface swept by fierce winds, wrinkles rippled one after another.

At this moment, the man in white’s gaze became focused, and he reached out to pat his robe, ceasing to strike back. Instead, he pointed in front of him.

Suddenly, a silver-white cloud bed materialized out of thin air.

"Fellow Daoist, your divine might is unparalleled."

"Please take a seat!"

Liang Hui retracted his palm, standing still and sensing a faint white scratch on his gauntlet.

Opponent’s strength was formidable, killing him would require a considerable effort.

Moreover, it was impossible to prevent him from dragging the goal of this journey into ruins along with him.

So they might as well talk.

Liang Hui stepped out from the light and shadow and walked forward.

In a few steps, he had crossed the void, arriving in front of the man in white, and sat down on the cloud bed.

The man in white also conjured a cloud bed beneath him and sat down, his gaze towards the young man carrying an apologetic tone.

"Just now, I was presumptuous."

"No matter, after all, you arrived here first; it is only natural to be on guard," Liang Hui said with a low chuckle.

He pulled out a teapot from his storage space, poured two cups of tea—one handed over, the other he picked up and took a small sip from.

"May I inquire as to how I should address you?"

"Fellow Daoist, you may call me Tian Fu," the man in white replied as he toyed with the teacup in his hand, giving a name that could be either genuine or false.

"And how should I address you, friend?"

"Wu Shan!"

"A fine name indeed."

Tian Fu exclaimed with admiration as if the casually given name carried profound mystery.

The two exchanged glances, both faces bearing gentle smiles.

"Fellow Daoist Wu Shan, to have come here, you must be aware of the uniqueness of this realm," Tian Fu said, the smile fading from his face as he gestured towards the grand realm shrouded in mist under their feet.

"The Way manifests beyond, transcendent remains hidden." Liang Hui downed the tea in his cup and looked down at the world beneath his feet.

The Way manifested outward greatly assisted him, saving him an immense amount of cultivation time.

"Indeed, the Way manifested? If one hadn’t seen it with one’s own eyes, how could one believe it?" Tian Fu sighed.

He paused before going on:

"However, although this realm has great opportunity, the heavenly will strongly rejects us outsiders."

Upon hearing this, Liang Hui summoned a wisp of gray fog which floated into his palm.

Sizzle! Sizzle!

Like burning oil poured into water, the wisp of gray fog exploded instantly.

Yet within it, the youth still felt an extreme coldness and aversion.

Liang Hui’s brow furrowed slightly. With such disdain for outsiders, he feared that before he even set foot in this strange world,

the world would have already destroyed itself, collapsing into ruin.

Tian Fu had a gentle look in his eyes, his face wearing a smile.

"Fellow Daoist, I have a way to enter this realm," he said.

Without waiting for Liang Hui to respond, he continued on his own accord:

"Although the will of the world despises us, our consciousness can still exert a faint influence on the creatures through the world."

"Through the accumulation of time, one can found a religion, establish divine statues, and allow us to briefly stay in this world."

Liang Hui’s eyes shimmered with thought, but his heart had already dismissed this method immediately.

Not to mention the expense of time, the fact that the method was suggested by a creature of this world was reason enough not to pursue it.

"Thank you, Fellow Daoist Tian Fu, I will give it a try," he said.

Liang Hui picked up the teapot and poured himself another cup, sipping slowly.

"Good. If Fellow Daoist of the Five Mountains requires assistance, I can have my followers establish a religion for you," said the man in white, playing with his teacup but never drinking from it.

As time passed, his eyes grew deeper and more obscure.

"Fellow Daoist, I am only here to observe and draw insights from the Way of Fortune; I ask for nothing else."

"I too am only here to observe the Way of the Five Elements." The young man with black hair billowing, and a handsome, sincere face, spoke earnestly.

He paused before speaking again:

"Fellow Daoist, meeting in the vast Boundary Sea, we must share some affinity."

"How about we exchange some insights?"

"Exchange what?" Tian Fu simply placed the teacup on the Cloud Platform and took out a red gourd from his bosom, tilting his head back to drink heartily.

A strange fragrance filled the air around them.

"The Dao, the Boundary Sea, anything!"

Liang Hui chuckled softly, his hand on the hilt of his sword, leaning back.

A radiance of five colors rose behind him, obscuring the young man’s figure.

"Since I proposed it, let me be the first to speak," he said.

"The fortunate, their virtue profound, alleviate heavenly disasters up high, and protect the emperors below; they dispel poison and calamity, to guide the multitudes. On their blessing rely life and death, their fortune too formidable to overcome..."

The luminescence of five colors fluttered, forming a towering tree behind the young man, a sense of great fortune and magnanimity pervading the emptiness.

This was the Way of Fortune, into which Liang Hui had delved deeply in his dream, and with his claim on the source of Spiritual Energy, he had involved himself in most Ways.

The Way of Fortune, naturally, was no exception.

And the moment Liang Hui had begun speaking, Tian Fu took on a serious demeanor.

After a long time!

The chanting faded away, and silence embraced the heavens and the earth.

Tian Fu sat cross-legged on the Cloud Platform and took up the subject.

"The Way of the Five Elements is not something I have delved into, but I know some of the history of the Vast Boundary Sea from ancient texts," he said.

"Speak," replied Liang Hui.

"Everything in this world cannot escape the two words: birth and extinction."

"This is true for people, for worlds, and for the Boundary Sea."

"The opening of the Boundary Sea is like the rise of the tide, and as the tide rises, naturally there is also a fall."

"Supreme beings divided the process of the tide’s ebb and flow into One Era."

"The Vast Boundary Sea, throughout endless time and space, has seen four Eras."

"Tai Yi, Tai Chu, Tai Shi, Tai Su."

"And the era we established, the Taiji Era!"
