The hospital room was now left with just the two of them, one big and one small, the tension thick enough to cut through.

Mo Shishi instinctively rubbed her arms, placed her half-eaten apple down on the table, and leaned her head on one hand with a smug posture. “Xiao Yiran, what do you want to say to me?”

“You’ve got a baby in your belly?” Little Baozi pointed at Mo Shishi’s stomach.

Mo Shishi arched an eyebrow and nodded. “That’s right, your dad’s child. From now on, you need to show me respect and treat me better, and in return, I’ll treat you well too.”

Little Baozi nodded after hearing her words, speaking with a serious tone. “Go ahead, have it. Once it’s born, I’ll break its legs.”
