Ye Weiwei wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes and shook her head. “Ou Feimo, this has nothing to do with you. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have gotten involved with someone like Xiao Jinghan. It’s my inability to avoid trouble that exposed Xixi to all this.”

“Ye Weiwei, this isn’t your problem. You don’t need to worry. In the Mo Family, I’ll have my grandfather help Xixi get justice,” said Lu Zi’an, who had remained in the room.

He felt just as devastated as Xiao Jinghan and Ye Weiwei. Deep down, he truly adored the little girl, and seeing her in such a state had already made up his mind.

Even if he had to offend others, he was determined to stand up for the child.

“Doctor Lu, thank you. But let’s stop this matter right here. Your world isn’t a place Xixi and I can enter,” Ye Weiwei said as she suddenly stood up. Her expression turned solemn as she addressed Ou Feimo. Pausing briefly, she continued, “Ou Feimo, I accept your proposal.”

The beauty pageant registration requirements had become stricter, so Ou Feimo had proposed that he and Ye Weiwei get engaged, allowing her to enter as his fiancée.

Mo Shishi’s behavior was quite manipulative and elicited sympathy, prompting Qiu Ying and Xiao Tingshen to stand by her side and comfort her.

“Shishi, how could it be your fault? This child is a blessing to the Xiao Family. You have a Xiao Family child; we couldn’t be happier,” Qiu Ying said, patting the quilt.

Mo Shishi shook her head from under the quilt, “No, no, Jinghan must not want this child. I was wrong; I shouldn’t have kept him.”

Listening to Mo Shishi acting like an innocent lotus blossom, Xiao Lingyun was so angry she wanted to rush over and slap her twice, but Xiao Jinghan stopped her.
