Chapter 586: Chapter 582 Tom’s Day of Suffering 2
"Hey there, handsome. Your companion has been planted in the ground by grandma, so no one will bother us now."
"Come on, let grandma give you a big smooch~"
Meng Po puckered her lips with a mischievous grin.
Upon hearing this, Tom shivered.
Surrendering himself to Meng Po, this Old Witch...
He’d rather be skinned alive right now.
What can be tolerated, what can’t?
If an uncle can tolerate it, an aunt won’t!
Tom was furious!
And that fury ignited within him.
It’s not that he didn’t want to struggle. The truth was, Meng Po was way too strong—his resistance seemed laughably weak, like scratching an itch for her.
Not only did it fail to enrage Meng Po, it appeared to make her even more excited.
"Stop struggling."
"The more you struggle, the more excited grandma gets."
Meng Po tossed him over her shoulder effortlessly, hurling him onto the ground like a rag doll.
Her sleazy smile chilled Tom to the bone.
Tom ignored the pain coursing through his body.
He pressed his hands against the ground, scooting his backside away.
Doing everything he could to distance himself from Meng Po.
"Don’t come any closer..."
Tom’s terrified expression practically turned into a reaction meme.
Meng Po let out a vile "Heh heh" laugh.
Her gnarled claws, resembling bark-like chicken talons, extended slowly toward Tom’s handsome face.
"Hiss~"
She pinched Tom’s cheek with her claws.
Meng Po inhaled sharply, "Aren’t foreigners supposed to have bad skin and large pores? Handsome, why is your skin so smooth?"
Meng Po acted like a lecherous old scoundrel teasing a young lady.
In this scenario, Tom was the unfortunate "young lady".
Feeling Meng Po’s claws pinching and prodding his face, Tom was disgusted to the point of nausea.
He wanted to fight back but couldn’t win against her.
He wasn’t even as strong as Meng Po.
Whenever Tom made a move, Meng Po subdued him single-handedly, forcing him to experience the hopelessness of screaming to the heavens without response or seeking help from the earth in vain.
Unhappy pressed his hands against the ground, pulling his head from beneath the soil like uprooting a radish, then plopped himself onto the ground.
Ptooey—
Unhappy spat out mud from his mouth.
He reached in and pulled out a snake.
Casually tied it into a bow and tossed it aside.
He looked at Tom, who was being tormented by Meng Po.
Unhappy blinked and showed a conflicted expression—he wanted to save Tom but was no match for Meng Po, unable to even approach her.
He could only watch helplessly as Tom suffered.
Tom caught Unhappy’s gaze out of the corner of his eye.
He sent Unhappy a pleading look.
That hopeful gaze was full of anticipation.
Unhappy sighed and got up.
Clenching his teeth, he charged toward Meng Po again.
Meng Po pinned Tom’s arms down with her hands and, without even turning her head, lashed out with a Scorpion Tail Kick, sending Unhappy flying.
Unhappy begrudgingly ended up back where he started.
He landed in exactly the same spot, not an inch off.
The only difference this time was that Unhappy landed butt-first on the ground, rather than being planted in it.
Unhappy just started to climb up.
Meng Po shot him a sharp glare.
Her fierce gaze was filled with threats.
It seemed to say: "You better know your place. If you don’t want to die, stay put."
"If you piss me off, I’ll kill you!"
Receiving Meng Po’s threatening look, Unhappy immediately sat back down with his rump. He was more obedient than a kindergarten child.
Unhappy had been utterly cowed.
He knew he couldn’t provoke Meng Po.
If she wanted to kill him, it would be far too easy.
He didn’t have a shred of power to retaliate.
He had no choice but to leave Tom to face the tiger alone.
Tom’s hopelessness deepened.
Humiliated tears rolled from the corners of his eyes.
His entire body seemed lifeless.
He lay motionless on the ground.
Even as Meng Po’s stinking mouth touched his cheek, he didn’t move a muscle.
"Hey handsome, why aren’t you moving?"
"Come on, struggle a little."
"The more you struggle, the more excited grandma gets."
Meng Po whispered into Tom’s ear with a sinister smile.
Tom silently shut his eyes.
No matter how Meng Po taunted him, he stayed still like a corpse, refusing to react.
Seeing Tom give up resistance and stop struggling...
Smack—
Meng Po’s aged face twisted in rage, and she slapped Tom viciously.
"Move!"
"Get moving for me!"
"If you don’t, I’ll kill your companion!"
Meng Po’s expression shifted into mania. Screaming hoarsely, she used Unhappy to threaten Tom.
Tom opened his eyes and glanced at Meng Po.
His gaze was icy cold, devoid of any emotion.
"Old Witch, even if you take my body, you won’t get my heart."
"I’ll never be responsible for an old hag. Do whatever you want."
Tom spoke with a calm tone, almost mechanical.
He seemed completely changed from the man who had fought desperately moments ago.
Despair deeper than sorrow filled him.
Tom accepted his fate.
No struggle, no resistance.
He let Meng Po do as she pleased, treating it as being bitten by a dog.
Smack smack smack—
Hearing Tom’s words, Meng Po exploded like a firecracker.
Her hands swung wildly, slapping Tom repeatedly with great force. "You don’t drink when offered wine, but you insist on punishment instead? Try resisting me again—I’ll kill you and your buddy, flay you, pull your tendons, and light you up like a human lantern!"
Despite her old age, Meng Po was full of vigor.
Each slap landed hard, leaving noticeable imprints on Tom’s handsome face. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, yet Tom made no sound, coldly staring back at Meng Po.
Beside him, his hand somehow now held a shiny Pokeball Bomb with a metal gleam.
The Pokeball Bomb was engraved with a tiny "Explosive" symbol, clearly a high-yield grenade.
Tom intended to take Meng Po down with him.
This humiliation was something he couldn’t endure another second.
Perhaps intoxicated by her own violence, the ever-alert Meng Po failed to notice Tom’s small movements.
Tom smirked coldly, about to activate the Pokeball Bomb and send both himself and Meng Po to the grave.
At that moment, a sudden change occurred.
Meng Po abruptly paused her actions and turned to look at the nearby forest, her shadowy eyes darting with a venomous light like a snake sizing up its prey.
"Who’s sneaking around over there?"
"Get out here, now!"
Meng Po shouted angrily.
Hearing Meng Po’s words, Tom froze.
His hand stopped instinctively from activating the bomb.
Following Meng Po’s line of sight, he turned his head to look.
"Tch—"
"How boring. Was I discovered already?"
A familiar, casual voice rang out.
As Tom watched, a tall figure emerged from behind the shadows of the trees.
Seeing who it was, Tom’s heart overflowed with joy.
He even felt a surge of emotion that nearly brought him to tears.
The newcomer was none other than Taotie.
"Hey Old Witch, get off Tom already. You’ve got the looks of a corpse and the hobbies of a playboy, huh?"
"You’re old enough to have dentures, yet you think it’s cute chasing after handsome young men?"
Taotie folded his arms and glared at Meng Po coldly.
His words were ruthless, mercilessly mocking Meng Po.
Meng Po glared at Taotie with venomous eyes.
Her stare was full of malice and hatred.
If looks could kill, Taotie would’ve been torn into pieces by Meng Po already.
