Chapter 344 - Chapter 344 Chapter 340 Taoties Emotional Debt

Chapter 344: Chapter 340: Taotie’s Emotional Debt? Chapter 344: Chapter 340: Taotie’s Emotional Debt? Taotie placed his luggage in the room, then checked to ensure there were no pinhole cameras or listening devices. Once everything was confirmed to be normal, he took out his cell phone and dialed a number.

“I am Taotie!”

The call connected, and Taotie said in a deep voice.

“Taotie, hello, what can I do for you?”

From the phone’s receiver came a charming voice with a hint of playfulness.

“I’m in New Province, meet at the Ebony Black Market!”

Without waiting for a response from the woman on the other end, Taotie hung up the phone.

Taotie twisted open a bottle of water and drank it in one gulp.

After discarding the empty bottle, he opened his suitcase and found a set of sportswear.

Taotie’s physique was top-notch, his loose T-shirt bulging due to his muscles, outlining explosive muscle lines. Wearing a sun-protection jacket over it, his black sportswear somehow gave the impression of a well-fitted casual suit.

Grabbing another bottle of water, Taotie left the room and rode the elevator down to the hotel lobby.

After ordering dinner at the front desk for Fang Xiaocao, he quickly walked out of the hotel.

Outside the hotel, Taotie hailed a taxi.

“Sir, where to?”

The taxi driver asked with a smile.

“Find me a car rental place!”

Taotie responded succinctly.

Noticing that Taotie wasn’t interested in chatting, the driver didn’t speak further. Setting up the GPS, he quietly drove away from the hotel, heading straight for the nearest car rental shop as directed by the navigation system.

Twenty minutes later!

The taxi gradually pulled to the side and stopped.

“Handsome, we’ve arrived at the car rental!”

The driver announced after parking.

With his eyes closed in rest, Taotie opened them, glanced at the fare on the meter, pulled out a hundred yuan bill, and handed it to the driver.

“Keep the change!”

With that, Taotie got out of the car.

He walked towards the car rental shop without looking back.

Half an hour later!

Taotie drove a Land Rover out of the rental shop.

He seemed familiar with the area, weaving through traffic with ease. Glancing at the rearview mirror, Taotie let out a cold laugh, jerked the steering wheel, and the Land Rover’s tires screeched as he quickly turned into a side street, disappearing from the main road.

Moments later, three cars stopped at the entrance to the side street.

From the lead car, a white-haired old man got out, looked down the alley, and then dialed a number on his cell phone.

“Miss, we lost him.”

The call connected, and the old man spoke gravely.

“Mhm!”

“Wait for him at the Ebony Black Market.”

A woman’s voice came from the other end of the line.

“Yes!”

The old man responded and ended the call.

“Let’s go to the Ebony Black Market!”

He put away his phone and called out to the two other cars.

As the old man prepared to get back into his car, suddenly!

Squeal–

The sound of tires rubbing against the pavement echoed.

This was followed by the roar of an engine.

The old man was startled and looked toward the noise.

He saw a black Land Rover speeding toward him.

The old man was filled with shock and quickly tried to dodge.

But humans couldn’t compete with the speed of a car.

Before he could get far from his own vehicle, the black Land Rover came barreling toward him with a furious roar.

As the car was about to crash, a dark figure jumped out from the driver’s side window of the Land Rover.

The next second!

Boom–

The black Land Rover smashed into the old man’s car, pushing the old man along for several meters before slamming him hard against another vehicle.

Caught between the two cars, the old man heard a “crack” coming from his chest.

The next second!

Puh–

The old man spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

The silver-haired head drooped powerlessly, devoid of life.

Taotie, who had just rolled out of the car, tumbled on the ground, dissipating the reactive force from his body.

He sprang up fiercely, gripping the mineral water bottle in his hand upside down, and slammed it hard onto the neck of one of the men who had alighted from the intact vehicle among the three.

Struck, the man’s eyes rolled back, and he collapsed limply to the ground.

Taotie smoothly reached into the man’s chest and fished out a handgun.

Taotie tossed the gun in his hand with satisfaction.

Whirling around violently, he used the gun like a hammer, smashing the butt of the gun hard into the temple of the person sneaking up from behind.

The attacker fell to the ground, lifeless.

Taotie hooked the gun onto his belt, bent down to pull another gun from the man’s chest, and extracted a telescopic baton from his lower back.

With a forceful flick!

Clang–

The retracted sections of the baton sprang out.

“You two, come at me together!”

Taotie beckoned with his finger at the remaining two men, speaking disdainfully.

The two exchanged a glance as they drew their batons.

The next second!

They charged at Taotie with their batons raised.

“Huh!”

Taotie let out a cold laugh and advanced instead of retreating.

He dashed forward with the speed of an arrow.

In the blink of an eye, with sticks raised and fallen, both men were bleeding from their heads.

They were taken down within a single round, lying on the ground defeated.

Taotie sneered and searched the bodies one by one, taking all the weapons from them, and settled into the assassin’s undamaged car.

Sitting in the driver’s seat, Taotie pulled out a cigarette and placed it between his lips.

Click–

He lit the cigarette with a lighter.

He took a deep drag and exhaled a series of smoke rings.

“Women, truly heartless!”

Taotie muttered as he took out his mobile phone.

He dialed the woman’s number once again.

“Hello?”

The call connected, and before Taotie could speak, a sultry voice came from the other end of the line.

“Bitch, you’re quite ruthless, huh?”

“A seven-gun salute to welcome me?”

Taotie glanced at the guns on the passenger seat, his voice cold as he spoke.

“Hehe…”

“Who asked you to hang up on me?”

“That woman who came with you, do you need my help to take care of her?”

The woman’s sultry voice was filled with murderous intent.

“She’s my boss. You could try, but aside from me, she has two top assassins, several first-class assassins. If you kill her, without me lifting a finger, how many of your Tomb Raider Sect would be left? Weigh that for yourself,” Taotie lazily remarked as he leaned back in his seat.

“You dog, is this how you repay my grandfather’s kindness for raising you?” the woman on the phone shrieked.

Taotie’s gaze turned icy, “Kindness of raising me, don’t you find that laughable?”

“Your grandfather raised me only to use me as a scapegoat for his grave-robbing, right?”

“The moment he pushed me towards that sticky rice dumpling, I had repaid all my debts. Besides, I even carried his body out of the tomb.”

Taotie’s voice was cold, like the biting wind and snow of deep winter, devoid of any emotion.

“Then what about you sleeping with me? How do you account for that?” The woman’s voice took on a crying tone.

“Cough cough…”

Taotie choked on the smoke, coughing violently.

“Shame it didn’t choke you to death!” the woman giggled on the other end.

“Sorry to disappoint you, I’m tough as nails,” Taotie retorted, throwing away the cigarette and spitting out,

“True. Good people die young, but scourges last a thousand years. You could live for at least a thousand years!” the woman on the phone murmured.
