I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 360 - Physique Fusion

The little figure of the God-Soul sat cross-legged on Xu Zimo’s abdomen, eyes closed.

It was naked and expressionless.

As Xu Zimo advanced into the Empyrean Meridian Realm, his True Fate World visibly expanded.

The size of the land and sea continued to grow endlessly with the rumbling motion of the earth’s crust.

The sky merged with the ocean.

Chaos and many beasts stood quietly within their constructed Myriad Beast Realm, calmly watching everything unfold.

This was the phenomenon of the Empyrean Meridian Realm.

But for Xu Zimo, the next step was even more important.

Fusing the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique.

The formation of the God-Soul had already greatly increased his strength, reaching the peak of the Empyrean Meridian Realm.

At this moment, however, the God-Soul was still extremely fragile.

He swallowed the battle orb of the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique.

As it entered his abdomen, it aligned with the God-Soul.

Xu Zimo slowly tried to harmonize the two.

The Power of Creation flowed gently within his body, like trickling streams.

Bit by bit, it wrapped around the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique and the God-Soul.

After a while, the small figure inside him began to tremble slightly.

It too began to emit the Power of Creation.

Suddenly, the little figure opened its tightly shut eyes, and a flash of brilliance shone in its gaze.

It looked at the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique in front of it, opened its small mouth, and swallowed the battle orb.

In that moment, the figure radiated golden light, and its abdomen began to ache.

Its expression twisted, rolling painfully inside Xu Zimo’s body.

Xu Zimo quickly used the Power of Creation and the Tree of Life to heal the figure’s injuries.

The Tree of Life was still highly effective for treating God-Soul wounds.

Cracks had already appeared all over the figure’s body, as if it might shatter.

Under Xu Zimo’s full efforts, the figure slowly absorbed the power of the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique.

Gradually, it adapted to the existence of the battle physique.

Though only a short moment had passed internally, a long time had already gone by in the outside world.

Much later, the figure slowly stood up, once again sitting cross-legged in its original posture.

But it was now completely different.

It wore nine-colored armor.

The armor was divided into nine towers, each guarded by a fierce beast.

The figure looked imposing, radiating powerful light and sharpness.

If Xu Zimo’s God-Soul were to be attacked in the future, one would first have to break through the defenses of all nine towers.

Ordinary people likely couldn't even break through one.

Moreover, the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique was not only defensive, its God-Soul attacks ranked among the highest of all methods.

...

Xu Zimo slowly opened his eyes.

The cave he was in had grown damp and dark, spiderwebs filling the corners.

As they say, “There are no years in the mountains, and no days in cultivation.”

It had been two full months since he advanced to the Empyrean Meridian Realm and fused with the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique.

That was already considered fast, thanks to the Tree of Life.

Xu Zimo wasn’t afraid of injuries and would often push his body to the limit before stopping.

In later stages, things like enlightenment or breaking through to higher realms could easily take a hundred years.

Xu Zimo walked out of the cave.

He had expected sunshine, but what greeted him was thick falling snow.

Snowflakes danced through the air between heaven and earth.

The withering leaves and golden autumn had quietly passed during his seclusion.

He walked across the thickly snow-covered ground, his silhouette gradually fading into the wind and snow.

A line of deep footprints stretched behind him, fading into the distant horizon.

...

If you laid out a map of the Eastern Continent, it would be a magnificent, vast land.

The six imperial lineages were its most powerful forces.

But they didn’t truly control the entire core area of the Eastern Continent.

The core was vast, though the six lineages occupied most of it, many areas had their own rulers.

Forbidden grounds, dangerous zones, remote or special places.

Dragon City was one such place.

It lay in the far north of the Eastern Continent.

Right next to the Endless Sky Sea, this marked the boundary of the continent.

One side of Dragon City was Eastern Continent; across the sea, at the horizon, lay a brand new region: The Northern Continent.

The Endless Sky Sea split everything, dividing the five continents and surrounding the Middle Continent.

Traveling from the East to the North wasn't difficult.

From here, you could take an airship across the sea to the far shore.

Dragon City didn’t belong to any force.

To put it simply, it was a force in itself.

A powerful and ancient existence.

A million years ago, during the great war of that era, Grand Emperor Zhen Wu wanted to usher in the Imperial Era.

The Sky Shroud War God slaughtered the entire Dragon Race.

It's said rivers of blood flowed that day, forming an epic river of cruelty forged from dragon blood.

It marked the extinction of the Dragon Race.

During that time, some humans willingly became servants of beasts.

Back in the Desolate Era, beast strength was deeply rooted in everyone’s minds.

Creating a new era was a difficult thing.

When Grand Emperor Zhen Wu fought the ten God Beasts, most people didn’t believe he would succeed.

Among those skeptics, Dragon City was the most prominent example.

They built Dragon City, revered dragons as totems, and willingly became the servants of dragons for generations.

The only real benefit?

To be baptized by dragon blood at the dragon’s will.

To become Dragonblood Warriors.

...

Dragonblood Warriors were a hybrid species who wore human skin but had replaced their human bloodline with dragon blood.

These hybrids had mixed bloodlines and couldn’t go far in martial cultivation.

To pursue higher realms in martial arts, they had to purify and refine their bloodline.

Over the years, Dragon City had stayed away from worldly affairs and quietly developed at the edge of the Endless Sky Sea.

Most people didn’t pay it much attention anymore.

This ancient power had survived countless setbacks since the Desolate Era and still persisted to this day.

A grand celebration for Xu Zimo’s grandfather from the Northern Continent was scheduled for a few months later.

From what Xu Zimo had learned, it would be a birthday celebration, his maternal grandfather’s 10,000-year birthday.

At that time, likely all of the Northern Continent would attend. Whether his grandfather would appear in person was unknown.

The last time Xu Zimo saw him was around the time he was born.

That memory was already quite blurry.

He also had to fulfill the promise he made to Sword Immortal Jiang Yun, returning his legacy to his family.

That could be taken care of on this trip.

Later, he would look for the Void Spirit Monkey, and then head to the Primordial Demon Cave to ask about the Infernal Lord.

The mystery of the Infernal Lord had always been the thing Xu Zimo cared most about.
