I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 349 - The Seal Opens

At this moment, as tens of thousands of ordinary people all knelt down, the shock it caused was unimaginable.

The founding of the Buddha Realm, the existence of the Buddhas.

Everyone referred to them as “Sages.”

There were true Buddhas in this world, and they were often willing to help their followers.

Now, the battle in the sky had reached its end.

With one final strike from the Evil Ancestor, Luminous Master could no longer hold on.

His bloodied and broken body slowly fell from the sky.

A gentle breeze lifted the bangs on his forehead, and the roar of chaotic space still echoed in his ears.

Luminous Master was not afraid of death. He looked down.

Tens of thousands of ordinary people were praying for him.

Each one was so sincere, so full of reverence.

He suddenly smiled, truly, joyfully.

...

Perhaps life was worth it after all.

At that moment, he suddenly recalled something his master once told him.

"You think helping ordinary people is useless? Actually, one of the greatest abilities we have in the Buddha Realm is to absorb the wishes of all living beings. But only if those people are your devoted followers, those who have prayed to you sincerely. The path you walk is still long."

These were the words once spoken by his master, Radiant Emperor.

Back then, he didn’t understand what the “wishes of all beings” meant.

Now, looking at these thousands of people praying, he suddenly felt like he understood.

His body continued falling with no strength left to resist.

As his consciousness faded, he seemed to see countless glowing points of light.

Each person praying for him was like a glowing star.

He didn’t know what these lights were.

Until each one entered his body, and his injuries began to heal rapidly.

His golden body was rebuilt, and his whole being surged with a power he had never felt before.

He understood now, this was “wish power.”

The will of the people. A force he had never tapped into before.

Golden light burst from his body, sharp and dazzling, piercing into the sky.

That Zenith Immortal realm power surged again, flowing with the clouds and wind.

Seeing this, the Evil Ancestor looked slightly surprised and sneered, “Insect, stop struggling. It’s all pointless.”

As he finished speaking, a golden fist flew toward him.

Boom!

The Evil Ancestor didn’t even have time to react before he was sent flying.

“I know I’m not fighting alone. I have thousands, tens of thousands of people walking this path with me,” Luminous Master said calmly, feeling the surging power within him.

He punched again. The shadow behind the Evil Ancestor began to crack.

“The debts your Blood-Devouring Evil Race owe from back then, it’s time to pay them.”

With a loud shout, he struck again. The Evil Ancestor was smashed back once more.

The monstrous shadow behind him began to slowly dissipate.

“How can you be this strong...” the Evil Ancestor muttered in disbelief.

“Now, I represent these thousands of mortals in passing judgment on you.”

Golden light surged around Luminous Master, forming into a radiant sphere.

The sphere wrapped around the Evil Ancestor, slowly dissolving his dark energy.

“Help me!” the Evil Ancestor struggled, calling out for aid.

But the surroundings were silent, only his screams echoed in the air.

Inside the golden sphere, his form became more and more indistinct.

His face twisted as he looked around and laughed wickedly. “It’s useless. Even if you kill me, it doesn’t matter. I’m just a gatekeeper.”

As soon as he said this, there was a loud "boom", the sphere exploded with him inside it.

Luminous Master slowly descended, his body visibly weakened.

The ordinary people around him quickly gathered.

They checked on him, offering concern and comfort. The atmosphere was warm.

“What do we do with them?” someone asked, pointing at the people of Martial Magnificence Temple.

Luminous Master was silent for a moment, then said, “I can sense there’s still kindness in their hearts.”

Wu Qianjun gave a bitter smile and shook his head. “Kindness? I’ve long forgotten what that means. Ever since I walked this path, I’ve had no other choice.”

“Lock them up for now,” Luminous Master said. “We’ll decide their fate after the matter with the Buddha Burial Temple is settled.”

“You’re no match for those people. Going in is suicide. I suggest you all leave now so you don’t drag others into death with you,” Wu Qianjun said, shaking his head.

“I’ll decide for myself. No need for your advice,” Luminous Master waved him off, and Martial Magnificence Temple’s people were taken into custody.

At that moment, those staying in the meditation rooms came out to greet Luminous Master.

Just then, a beam of black light shot into the sky.

It came from the black tower the Evil Ancestor had emerged from.

Everyone looked toward the tower in confusion.

Inside, a deep, boundless black hole had formed.

The black light engulfed the sky.

The blue sky turned black. White clouds became black clouds.

Everything was being swallowed.

The sky churned as black fog rolled through the heavens.

“What is that?” someone nearby asked.

The sight was suffocating, as if something terrifying was about to descend from the black hole.

“The entrance to the Buddha Burial Temple,” Xu Zimo said to Death God Qin.

“Should we go in?” people around them whispered among themselves.

Originally, they had planned to enter directly.

But after witnessing such danger before even stepping inside...

No one could guess what lay within.

Now, many were hesitating.

All eyes turned to Luminous Master, waiting for his answer.

“I’m not in good shape right now. I need a few days to recover. Once the seal is open, it won’t close for a while. I plan to enter after some rest,” he replied calmly.

Hearing this, everyone nodded in agreement.

“Let’s all wait a few days. It’ll be safer with more people.”

...

Hearing this, Death God Qin looked at Xu Zimo and asked, “What about us?”

“We go in now. We're not the same as them,” Xu Zimo replied, shaking his head.

The two of them walked toward the black hole.

Someone called out, trying to stop them, suggesting they wait and go together.

“No need. This Buddha Burial Temple doesn’t mean much to me,” Xu Zimo said, shaking his head.

Everyone watched them, their eyes fixed on the backs of the two as they walked away.
