I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 297 - Elder Cang

As the vast immortal pressure swept across the sky, everyone present turned pale.

A gray-robed elder slowly walked in from the edge of the heavens.

Spiritforce surged around him, his aura was terrifying.

Even Huang Youlan’s expression grew heavy. She narrowed her eyes, staring at the approaching figure.

Though the man was only a first-step Arcane Immortal, entering the immortal path was a fundamental transformation, his lifespan now vastly extended, eternally separated from the mortal realm.

This was something no God Meridian cultivator could compare with.

"I went to our main headquarters and invited Elder Cang to come personally," said Qin Chaotian calmly.

"Resistance is meaningless."

"Heaven Ender really went all-in for this," muttered Huang Guyuan, eyes narrowed.

While Heaven Ender was indeed a lineage with three Grand Emperors, immortal path cultivators were their apex power, rare and precious, even for them.

For them to mobilize such a figure just for Yan Buhui showed how highly he was regarded.

Behind him, Huang Youlan’s spiritforce surged like a flowing river. Her True Fate emerged behind her, a fully bloomed ghost orchid, beautiful and proud.

As the orchid bloomed, she plucked one of its petals.

Blue spiritforce swirled around the petal, sending ripples of immense force through the air as it shot toward the approaching immortal.

The gray-robed elder halted, raised his right hand, and lightly waved.

Immortal energy rippled out, shattering the surrounding space.

BOOM!

The ghost orchid petal was swallowed by a black hole formed from the burst of immortal energy.

The elder took another step and appeared in front of everyone.

"Greetings, Elder Cang," Qin Chaotian said, immediately bowing.

Though he was only one step away from becoming an immortal himself, that single step was a chasm most would never cross.

The status of an immortal path cultivator was unshakable.

"Seems like I’m quite welcome," Elder Cang said with a light chuckle, glancing at the falling orchid petals.

"Are you truly here to destroy our clan today?" Huang Youlan asked calmly.

"I wouldn’t say destroy a clan. Just eliminating those who deserve to die," Elder Cang said, turning to look at Yan Buhui.

"You are the inheritor of the Eternal Sword God?"

"Yes, Elder," Yan Buhui responded quickly.

"Work hard. Don’t disappoint the ancestor’s expectations," Elder Cang smiled. "If you were chosen by the ancestor, you must be extraordinary."

Yan Buhui nodded respectfully.

The atmosphere grew tense.

With a wave of his hand, Elder Cang summoned vast immortal light, spreading across half the sky.

He declared loudly,

"According to Yan Buhui’s wishes, those uninvolved may leave. We only intend to punish those who are guilty."

Upon hearing this, Huang Youlan turned to look at Huang Guyuan in confusion.

She hadn’t had time to ask what was happening yet, and didn’t know why Heaven Ender was targeting the Huang Clan.

Now, it was clear it had something to do with this youth named Yan Buhui.

After hesitating, Huang Guyuan gave her a brief explanation.

He pleaded, "Ancestor, by what they’re saying, nearly half the clan once bullied Yan Buhui. Does that mean… half the family must die?"

"This is the clan you managed?" Huang Youlan scowled, spiritforce flaring around her in anger.

She glared at him and said, "How did a fool like you even become patriarch? Under your leadership, the Huang Clan has fallen into such disgrace!"

Huang Guyuan lowered his head in shame, unable to respond.

"Sir," Huang Youlan turned to Elder Cang and said firmly, "We’ll hand over the main culprits who abused Yan Buhui. But can we spare those juniors who only followed the crowd once or twice?"

Elder Cang turned to Yan Buhui, seemingly waiting for his answer.

"I had originally planned to exterminate the clan," Yan Buhui said coldly. "But for the sake of old ties, I’ll spare the innocent. Still, anyone who bullied me, even once, will not be forgiven. One or two people, maybe I could tolerate. But when hundreds, nearly a thousand, join in the abuse… Have you ever considered what that feels like?"

"Public opinion is terrifying," Qin Chaotian added calmly.

"And what about you all?" Elder Cang asked the Huang Clan. "Will you hand them over? Or choose to fight to the end?"

"I know Heaven Ender is impressive," Huang Youlan frowned, "But the Huang Clan won’t be pushed around easily. There’s no need for this to end in bloodshed. We’ve already compromised."

"Seems like you still don’t understand who holds the upper hand here," Elder Cang said coldly.

He raised his hand and launched a beam of extreme immortal light directly at Huang Youlan.

Her expression turned serious.

Behind her, the True Fate orchid burst into brilliant light, its pale blue glow covering half the sky.

Countless orchid blossoms floated from the heavens, gathering into one massive petal before her.

The petal slowly rotated.

The immortal light struck it directly.

BOOM!

Massive shockwaves exploded outward. The sky itself seemed about to be ripped apart.

As the storm cleared, everyone looked up,

Half of the orchid’s petal had been destroyed, and the rest was on the verge of collapse.

But it had managed to block Elder Cang’s first attack.

"For a God Meridian Realm cultivator, you're quite impressive," Elder Cang said evenly.

Huang Youlan took a deep breath, her spiritforce surging more violently than ever.

Orchid blossoms bloomed madly around her, filling the sky.

In her flowing blue dress, she stood in the rain of petals, her peak God Meridian Realm aura intensifying by the moment.

……

Seeing this, Elder Cang chuckled.

At that moment, prison-like immortal pressure rolled from his body.

Half the sky collapsed behind him.

Shrouded in immortal mist, his True Fate emerged.

It was a strange and eerie white fire, burning with an intense heat that melted the space around it.

With a single wave of Elder Cang’s hand, the white flame transformed into a sea of fire, engulfing half the sky.

As it surged down, Huang Youlan’s orchids began to burn.

All were being devoured by the inferno.

Crackling and popping rang through the air.

The entire sky was aflame.

No matter how much spiritforce Huang Youlan used, the flames acted as if they had a mind of their own, growing fiercer instead of weakening.

And these weren’t ordinary flames, they were burning the very essence of her True Fate.

It was like watching her soul itself ignite.

Huang Youlan screamed in pain, her figure slowly falling from the firestorm.

By now, the graceful elegance of her fluttering dress was completely gone.
