Chapter 53: Chapter 53 - Absolute Hynopsis

Lilith was mad.

It was scary.

She wanted to rip off the heads of everyone who had ruined her fun. However, she knew that Lucius wouldn’t like that, so she tried her best to control herself.

Just as she was about to reach the girl at the counter, she felt a hand land on her shoulder.

It was Lucius, who was looking at her with a frown.

"The two of you. Go put on decent clothes. I’ll be dealing with this from here on, understood?"

Lilith wanted to complain, but looking at Lucius’s expression, it seemed there was no room for discussion as far as she could tell.

"But—"

"Go put on decent clothes."

Lucius was even scarier than Lilith, who immediately looked down with a blush on her face as she turned around and nodded like a quiet little girl.

’He’s so hot when he talks down to me! No one has ever done that to me...!’ Lilith thought as she started walking away with Alicia.

As they began walking away, Lucius tried his best to have some damage control as he approached the girl with a smile.

He knew that talking to her normally would be useless, so instead of trying to convince her with words, Lucius decided to use one of the skills he had received recently from engraving his mark onto Aphrodite.

[You have activated Absolute Hynopsis.]

"I want you to go back to the counter and forget that any of this ever happened. I want you to forget about our faces at once."

The girl on the other side of the counter nodded right away as the look in her eyes faded and became dull and lifeless.

"Understood?"

Lucius was surprised by how effective this skill was.

"Understood, sir."

’Now... time for the more complicated of the two. The police officer...’

Lilith had acted on impulse and had gone as far as to hurt a police officer.

In fact, by the time Lucius had begun to take control of the situation, the police officer had already called for backup.

He had said in his message for backup that there was a crazy woman who had beaten him to a pulp.

It was easy to understand that a lot of police officers were on the way here with backup.

Lucius knew that he needed to act fast, and that’s exactly what he did as he began walking in the police officer’s direction while the officer shuddered at Lucius’s presence.

"Don’t get closer to me! You monster!"

"Calm down, I just want to talk to you peacefully."

Lucius reactivated [Absolute Hynopsis] and saw the gaze in the officer’s eyes become dull right away.

"Call your colleagues."

The man didn’t even say anything as he called them right away.

"Now, tell them that you resolved everything and there is no reason for them to come here. Tell them that we have calmed down and that we gave you everything that you asked for."

The man repeated Lucius’s message right away, and the officers on the other end of the phone seemed to find this strange, asking again if everything was alright, without Lucius even needing to say anything.

"Yes, everything is fine. I don’t need anyone to come here."

"Alright, we will still come and check it out to make sure that everything is in order."

Lucius gritted his teeth. That police officer on the other side was annoying as hell. Why wouldn’t he listen to his colleague?

Lucius was annoyed; however, he knew there was no way around it.

"Wait for them in front of the store and tell them that we left. After doing that, you will completely forget about us. Understood?"

"Understood, sir."

The police officer stood up, a cut on his forehead with some blood still spilling out of it. However, Lucius couldn’t care less as he turned around and went to get Alicia and Lilith right away.

"We need to leave now!" Lucius shouted.

Both Alicia and Lilith quickly came out of the changing rooms and joined Lucius, but just as they were about to leave, another police car parked in front of the store.

’Tsk, don’t tell me that I’ll have to hypnotize them too...’ Lucius thought with a frown, as it seemed that would be the only option available to him.

Still, normally, no one in the store should have any memory of them.

Lucius tried walking out of the store as the police officers approaching them were all frowning.

"Why are you leaving the store?"

"They told us that we could go."

The officer frowned as he went to see his colleague.

"Stay here. I’ll go talk to my colleague about the situation."

However, the moment the man began walking away, Lucius, Alicia, and Lilith had already disappeared at once like ghosts that had never been there in the first place.

"Huh... how? Where did they go?" the man muttered. "Ah... whatever."

"What did I say before leaving the Multiverse General Store?" Lucius shouted in a random alley. "You two need to behave, especially when it comes to the police. You can’t be acting as you wish. It’ll put us in a bunch of trouble."

Lilith and Alicia didn’t speak, looking down at the floor, scared of Lucius and the way he spoke to them.

It was the first time that either of them were experiencing him shouting at them, and they did not like it at all.

"Do you have anything to say to defend yourselves?"

"It was all Lilith! I didn’t do anything."

"I—I’m sorry... I shouldn’t have acted on impulse... but I just wanted to have more fun."

"Hmpf, Lilith, you will be under punishment as soon as we go back to the General Store. You won’t be allowed in my room for a week."

"W-What?! A week?! But I just said that I was sorry."

Lucius shook his head. "You’re lucky that it’s not longer. Now behave. We are going to one last store to get my suit; I don’t want you to cause any problems over there, no matter what happens."

The two of them nodded.

However, Lucius had a strong feeling that something would go wrong once again.

No matter where he went, they always magically got into trouble.
