Chapter 49: Chapter 49 - Skill Fusion

Before leaving, Lucius grabbed his potion of invisibility and started walking outside as he finally remembered that there was still a reward he hadn’t looked at yet.

The random skill that he had obtained.

’Let’s see...’ Lucius thought as a similar box from before appeared in his hands.

However, this time, instead of having items inside it, there would be all kinds of skills.

As the box appeared in Lucius’s hands, both Lilith and Alicia frowned slightly.

"What is this?"

"Ah, it’s another gift I got from taking care of the store."

Their frown only deepened. "Who is giving so many things? Is it another woman?"

The two of them seemed to be equally crazy this time around. But Lucius was starting to get used to it. Beautiful women were crazy; Lucius had understood this the moment he had seen Alicia and how she acted when Aphrodite had entered the fray.

"Um... no. It’s the person who showed me this place. He said that they are gifts for having taken care of this place well."

They nodded while squinting, clearly doubting if that was true or not.

"Alright..." they said in unison. "Open it then."

Lucius smiled as he popped the box open, and the exact same thing as before happened. A bunch of skill books began spinning on a big wheel over and over again.

All of them were of different rarity, and then, after some time, it landed on a blue-colored skill.

’Fuse skills?’ Lucius thought with a small frown. ’How would that work?’

Lucius looked at the skills he had gotten since he had obtained the Multiverse General Shop and smirked, as there were definitely a lot of good ones.

’Which one should I pick?’ Lucius thought as he looked at the list.

He thought there were a few skills that could be very good fusions. But Lucius was scared that the skills would become worse than before.

’Argh... this is risky, isn’t it?’

Lucius shook his head, as he knew that he needed to test it out since the skill had a lot of potential overall.

Lucius finally decided to fuse those two skills together. He believed that they were the most compatible from a glance. After all, the two of them revolved around touching others.

The other combo he had been looking at had been [Pleasure Fingers] and [Pleasure Vision], but he decided against it since, apart from the pleasure, they didn’t have much in common.

Lucius smirked, as this skill was literally perfect. It had taken the best parts out of both skills and combined them together. He had definitely made the right choice to fuse those two skills; they complemented each other very well.

’Highly addictive, huh?’ Lucius thought with a smirk as he looked at both Alicia and Lilith, who were a little confused as to what was going on in their master’s mind.

Lucius wanted to try it out right now. But he knew that wasn’t an option; time was running out, and he needed to do his shopping before his date, which was in three hours.

"Hm... let’s go, you two." Lucius looked back at Aphrodite. "Don’t worry, it shouldn’t take too long."

Aphrodite only nodded with a pout on her face.

"I’ll reward you if you do a good job while I’m gone."

Immediately after saying that, her entire behavior completely switched up. She was smiling with a big grin.

"You promise~?"

"Sure, I promise."

"Great~! I’ll make sure everything is perfect then!"

Aphrodite almost sounded like a little kid rewarded. But that was the furthest thing she was from. After all, she was the Goddess of Love; however, it seemed that she had never gotten a lot of experience when it came to the love department.

"This place is amazing!" Lilith and Alicia said as they looked at the blue sky with beautiful white clouds. "It’s so... modern?"

From what they told Lucius, it seemed that they had never seen tall buildings like this in their life. From where they came from, things were much smaller and a lot less developed, which was surprising to Lucius since he thought that fantasy-like worlds were bound to be much better than his.

"Is this the place you want to go?" Alicia asked with a frown as she tried to read the name of the store. "Rollex? Is this really a good store?"

Lucius smirked as he nodded. "Yeah, they sell some of the most beautiful watches in the world in here. Make sure to behave once you’re inside, alright? I don’t want any problems."

The two of them nodded as they immediately walked inside. However, the moment they did, they received a bunch of weird glances from around them.

After all, Lucius, Lilith, and Alicia didn’t seem "high-class." The people working there probably believed that they would never be able to buy anything in here. Still, they were professionals; they cast aside their stereotypes for one moment as they approached them with a smile.
