Chapter 35: Chapter 35 - Humiliation

Axel came down the stairs acting like a dog.

Every single person who saw him had no idea what had just happened. However, Lucius had a big smile on his face as it seemed that Axel’s request had heavily backfired, just like he had imagined.

"Oh... What a good dog you are~!" Aphrodite said with a smirk. "Go greet your new master, doggy!"

Axel didn’t say anything as he began walking on his fours toward Lucius, and once he reached him, he sat like a dog waiting for a pat.

Lucius had no idea what had happened upstairs, but he was liking this.

’Just what did they do?’ He shook his head, unable to believe what was happening right before him.

"Sir, do you want us to get you out of here?" one of the guards asked Axel.

Axel frowned. "No. This is exactly where I want to be."

The guards found it strange, but they could not go against the orders from Lucius. It would be a disgrace.

"Please forgive my behavior. I have decided to give you all revenue from the sales of your product. I hope this will be enough for you to forgive my stupid behavior."

Lucius smirked. "Hm... It’s not bad, but I don’t know if that would be enough to forgive you."

"W-What do I need to do then?" Axel asked. "I’ll do anything you ask of me!"

Lucius frowned as he glanced toward Aphrodite, who was just laughing in a corner. He knew that she was the reason why all this was happening, and he had to say that it was surely useful to have a goddess working for you. It made things much easier.

"Mhm... Do you have a daughter?" Lucius asked with a smirk.

Axel’s eyes widened as he knew exactly where this was going. However, when he tried to open his mouth and lie... nothing came out. It was as if a mystical energy was forcing him to act the way he was currently doing.

’Just what did those girls do to me! Just wait until I get out of here! I’ll make sure that this store is burnt to the ground!’ Axel thought in his mind as he was still forced to act like a dog, even now.

For someone as powerful as him, this was the first time that he had been humiliated to such a degree. And he had to make sure that a situation like this would never happen again.

"I-I do... Why are you asking?"

Lucius smirked. "I’d like to meet her, if possible. Can you organize a little rendezvous between us?"

"Whatever you desire, sir."

Axel was trying to resist the charm spell that Aphrodite had placed on him, but no matter what he tried, he was not able to do so whatsoever. He was completely under her control.

"Here is her number... I will contact you later when everything is prepared..."

"Perfect. I’ll forgive you once you have delivered this. Alright?" Lucius said with a bright smile as this whole thing had gone much better than he could have ever expected.

Every other employee was currently mind-blown because they all recognized who the man on the ground acting like a dog was.

They realized that the person they were working for was potentially even stronger than he.

"I need to make sure to never anger him..." All of them had similar thoughts in their minds.

If he could do something like this to Axel Smith, one of the most powerful men in the world, there was no telling what he would do to them.

They needed to be careful around him. At least, that’s what they believed now after what they had just witnessed.

"You can leave now. I’ll come see you with the official deal later," Lucius said with a smile. "Maybe when I meet your daughter...?"

Axel didn’t say anything as he immediately began heading out of the store. However, he did so by walking like a dog. The spell was still on him, even now.

However, the moment he stepped out of the store, it was lifted as he stood up and looked at both of his guards.

"Contact whoever you want," he said in a stern voice. "I want this store to be gone by the end of this week. Failure isn’t an option."

The humiliation had been too much to handle.

Asking for his daughter? This man deserved to be tortured and then killed for the words he had spouted from his mouth!

The two guards noticed the anger on their boss’s face and knew that he was dead serious.

"Do you want us to kill them?"

He shook his head. "Bring them back to me, alive. They need to be taught a lesson to never go against the Smith family."

The guards nodded. "Understood. We will contact some of our friends from the military. This place should be gone by tomorrow."

Axel smirked as those were words he liked to hear.

He could not wait to see the look on Lucius’s face as he touched his woman right in front of his eyes. It would be so satisfying...

"Just you wait, you son of a bitch. You dared to anger the CEO of the Smith Family. You will pay for it with your life!"

"Do you really think that he will give you his daughter?"

Lucius shook his head and smiled. "Of course not. He’ll try to attack us just like his son did. This family is truly pathetic; they’re all the same."

"We just need to make sure to be ready once that happens."

Lucius continued to grin.

He was not worried in the least. After all, he had two beings that came from other worlds with him that no humans would ever be able to injure. Whatever this man tried, he would come to deeply regret it.

Lucius smirked as he began imagining kissing his daughter right in front of his face.

He could already imagine his reaction. It would be legendary!
