Chapter 26: Chapter 26 - Smith Tower

Lucius arrived before the gigantic Smith Tower and couldn’t help but be massively impressed by how big the empire they had created over the years had become.

It also inspired him, as he knew that with his items, anything would be possible down the line. He would even be able to create a better empire than the Smiths with his items. After all, he would be the only one capable of crafting them. No one else in this world would be able to gather the ingredients he was using.

They were from fantasy worlds, and no one here had access to them.

Lucius’s plan was simply perfect and without any flaw.

However, before taking over the world with his products, he needed help and connections, which is exactly what he was looking to get from going to the Smith Tower.

Before the main door were two people dressed elegantly in butler uniforms. They were sharp and ready for anything.

As Lucius began approaching the door with Aphrodite, the two of them immediately came in their direction with fake smiles.

"Hello, sir, what is the reason for your visit to the Smith Tower?"

The two butlers exchanged glances as they were used to this kind of situation. Beggars trying to get money would come roaming around every few days, hoping that they could get a meeting with the CEO. However, the results were always the same; they would be turned away right away.

’What is he even wearing?’ one of the butlers thought with a frown as he began to analyze Lucius up and down.

His clothes were not very clean and tidy. With a quick glance, it was obvious that he was not used to being around here. However, the same couldn’t be said about the beautiful lady next to him. As soon as their gaze landed on Aphrodite, they completely lost their minds, as they could no longer look away from her.

’Why is she so beautiful? How did he manage to pull that?’ one of the butlers thought in the back of his mind.

’Don’t tell me that he managed to seduce her?! That’s impossible! She’s way too beautiful to be with a poor fella.’

The two butlers began losing their minds as they couldn’t believe that Lucius was dating the beautiful lady next to him. However, things got even worse as Aphrodite got closer to Lucius, her shoulders rubbing against him, clearly showing that they were really close to one another.

’Just who is this man!?’ one of the butlers thought. ’He has to be special if he got such a beautiful wife!’

Just because of Aphrodite’s presence, their opinions began to shift, while Aphrodite hadn’t even needed to use her powers or skills.

The reason why they didn’t think highly of Lucius was that his Charm stat was still quite low, all things considered. After all, he still hadn’t managed to "engrave" Aphrodite and obtain her stats as a result. Once that happened, it would be even harder to stop Lucius with his overwhelming stats.

At least in this world, he would be unrivaled and no one would be able to deal with him any longer.

"We would like to meet with the CEO. I have a very interesting business proposal for him."

The butlers, who were not even looking at Lucius anymore, focused on Aphrodite’s body and nodded mindlessly.

"S-Sure... you can enter."

Lucius didn’t like their gazes, but he didn’t do anything just yet. He did not have any power or connections.

As they walked past them, the butlers kept staring at Aphrodite even as they walked away. They seemed almost hypnotized by her presence.

’Is this what is supposed to happen when a human sees her?’ Lucius thought, as nothing like that had happened to him.

He had been mind-blown by her beauty, but his reaction had been nowhere close to that bad. He had still been able to talk to her and even charm her with the use of the Love Potion.

As they walked into the lobby, they went to the counter and were quickly told to sit down and wait, as someone would be coming to meet them.

Minutes passed without much problem until suddenly, a voice resounded from behind them.

"Y-You! W-Why are you here?!"

Lucius frowned as he turned around, wondering who would dare to speak to him in such a way, and without much surprise, he recognized the young man before him.

It was Alex.

Alex’s gaze quickly shifted toward Aphrodite as he gritted his teeth.

"Why do you always have beautiful women by your side?! You’re not even anything special. They’re probably using you!"

Alex shouted mindlessly; however, Aphrodite frowned at those words as she began walking up to the young man, who immediately went behind his two guards that were built like fridges.

"Haha! You can’t do anything against me! I’m Alex Smith! The son of one of the richest men on Earth!"

It was always the same nonsense with him, and someone needed to teach him a lesson.

Aphrodite continued to walk in his direction as Lucius watched from afar with a sly smirk, knowing that Aphrodite was clearly not the one in danger.

"You’re gonna let your woman take care of your problems?! Pathetic." Alex looked at Aphrodite again with a smile behind his guards. "Look, if you want to leave him and join me, just know that I’ll give you anything that you could ever desire. Money, clothes, power, fame, it doesn’t matter. I’ll find a way to give it to you!"

First it was Alicia, now it was Aphrodite. This little man truly stopped at nothing to steal Lucius’s women. It was a good thing that his women were obsessed with him and would never even dare to touch another man lovingly.

Lucius stood up from his seat as he got behind Aphrodite and placed his hand on her ass cheek, making her jump slightly from surprise before blushing.

"N-Not here...~!" she said in a whisper.

Lucius smiled at her reaction. "Let me take it from here, okay?"

Aphrodite slowly nodded as her mind went in all kinds of directions.

’Ahhh~! Why is he so hot?! He’s defending me against this loser! My soon-to-be husband is truly the best!’
