"The effect is just too good, just one apple can recover from the aftermath of an all-nighter; I haven’t felt this energized in a long time," said Maz, who now felt relieved from the headache and much more spirited, which greatly lifted his mood, making the food on the table even more enticing.

Mu Ying nodded her head, thinking that one red apple was enough to recover the energy lost after a night of staying awake, a pretty decent effect indeed.

"Do you have more of these apples? How much Source Power? I want to exchange for more, they’re really useful," Maz said.

If he could eat a red apple every day, he wouldn’t have to worry about staying up late ever again! No more need to waste time sleeping, giving up the wonderful world of spells because his body couldn’t take it.

"This type of apple tree has a low fruiting rate, with only three apples per tree, but in my Trial World, there are quite a lot of them. To convert a red apple, it’s 1 Source Power each," Mu Ying explained.

This was indeed the conversion price for a normal red apple in the Square World.

However, in her Small World, there were several apple orchards, and the apples didn’t need to be converted; they could be picked directly.

The Light Mage profession was so time-consuming that he felt he didn’t have enough time to fully comprehend everything, and other cultivation methods available in the trial just didn’t appeal to him anymore.

Fishing for three days and drying the nets for two, he had only accumulated so little Source Power. Otherwise, he would have wanted to exchange for even more.

It looked like he couldn’t afford to relax during future trials; he couldn’t do without these apples!

Maz transferred all the Source Power he had to Mu Ying.

Mu Ying looked at the number with some whole digits and some fractions and felt vaguely uneasy. She hadn’t emptied Maz’s account, had she?

But she was broke now too, having drained her Source Power savings when she transformed her Small World. It seemed perfectly normal for her to earn some Source Power using the output from her Small World; it was a matter of mutual benefit!

Mu Ying quickly assured, "I’ll transform it during tonight’s trial, and give it to you tomorrow morning. Once you’ve used them all, just give me a Dingling Flower call, and I’ll transform some more for you!"

He was her major customer, after all!

The others didn’t study as intensively as Maz, unwilling to spend too much Source Power on such consumables.

Only Vinica ordered 10, while Draco subscribed for 50.

They purchased them to keep on hand for emergencies.

Vinica, who traveled year-round, sometimes didn’t dare rest in dangerous places, making red apples particularly useful in such situations.

Draco, on the other hand, wanted to be prepared in case he got lost in the wilderness again, now that he had a resource-rich Second Trial World at his disposal.

Without saving some Source Power for turnover, she would waste much of her daily Trial Time quota if she got too busy to trial in the future.

Vinica had other matters to attend to and needed to leave that evening, so Mu Ying simply changed her schedule, arranging to enter the Trial World in the afternoon to pick the apples for them, content only after she settled back in her seat to enjoy her meal.

Actually, the apples were already prepared. The apples from the orchard next to the Goblin Plain in her Small World had been picked nearly clean and stored in her space because only after the apples were harvested would the trees bear a new batch.

The Goblin Plain was the same plain where the Gem Trees grew.

After the midday banquet, Mu Ying found Li Luoxia to arrange a rest room for herself and went off to "trial."

At the end of the trial, she simply had to take the apples out from her space.
