Chapter 550: Chapter 533: Level 10 Druid

About a month later.

An ordinary morning in the plantation—Mu Ying was watering a clump of sunflowers with Recovery Spring.

[You have completed a professional cultivation and earned Professional Experience ×1]

[You have completed a professional cultivation and earned Professional Experience ×1. You have reached the experience limit of level 9, with 1 point of Professional Experience overflowing]

[You have reached the upgrade standard. Please prepare to upgrade as soon as possible]

She opened the Player Manual.

[Profession: Druid Lv9 (4500/4500) ▲]

Day after day, she worked diligently in the plantation, the undersea planting camp, and the surrounding lands of the territory, interacting with the plants. Now, her level 9 professional experience had finally accumulated to the upgrade threshold.

Mu Ying called the Gem Fairies over.

Six miniature people, flapping their wings thin as cicada’s wings, flew to her side.

This month, the Gem Tree had sprouted a fresh set of vibrant leaves and given birth to a new Gem Fairy. Dressed in a little grass skirt at birth, Mu Ying named it Green Grass.

"I’m going to level up now, and I’ll leave the rest of today’s tasks to you all," Mu Ying said as she took out her bottle of water-diluted Recovery Spring.

"Got it, Mom! You can count on us," the six little fairies replied in unison, each taking turns to plant a kiss on Mu Ying’s forehead, wishing her a smooth upgrade.

After speaking with them, she walked the familiar path to the side of the Gem Tree and lay down on the grass beside it.

This Gem Tree was the most precious tree in her entire plantation. The bit of natural power from her own upgrade, naturally, deserved extra attention to help it grow faster and produce more new Gem Fairies.

Currently, the six Gem Fairies in her plantation were bustling all day, unable to care for everything by themselves.

Fortunately, not all the plants she cultivated required meticulous care; however, with the attention of the Gem Fairies, they would fare even better.

Channeling the natural energy and letting the natural power envelop her, she slowly relished the cleansing it brought to her body—it was immensely comfortable, feeling akin to that of a Divine Race being inside an eggshell, so warm, so intimate, that she couldn’t help but fall asleep.

[After the natural baptism, you have become a level 10 Druid]

[Based on your Druid Level, your professional skill Wild Transformation’s daily usage increases by one]

[Based on your Druid Level, your Life Value has increased to 830]

[Based on your Druid Level, your Mana Value has increased to 190]

[No new spells unlocked at this level]

Once the upgrade finished and the natural power dispersed, Mu Ying finally woke up.

The first thing upon waking was still to check the adventure record and attribute panel on her Player Manual.

Although this item was called a Player Manual and initially came with prompts about the Doomsday Game, it was still reality they lived in, not like they were actual game players with digitized bodies.

It was just that everyone was bound to a Player Manual, which could record each person’s physical changes, after all.

Although Mu Ying could feel many changes in her body after leveling up, it was still not as detailed and clear as the records in the Player Manual.

Level 10 was another even level, without any new spells unlocked, only an increase of 80 Life Value and 10 Mana Value.

No new professional skills appeared, only that Wild Transformation had grown stronger. The number of transformations per day had increased by one, now allowing for four Wild Transformations daily.

It seemed that, for Druids, Wild Transformation was indeed one of the core skills.

Mu Ying then checked her freshly updated attribute panel.

[Name: Mu Ying]

[Race: Elf, Green Witch]

[Profession: Druid Level 10 (0/5500)]

[Attributes: Strength 8 (+2), Constitution 13 (+1), Agility 15 (+3), Intelligence 12 (+1), Perception 19 (+1), Charm 15 (+1)]

...

The Experience Value needed for level 10 was 1,000 more than what had been required for level 9, truly an upsetting development.

At level 9, she had had no good way to quickly accumulate Professional Experience and had spent nearly half a year diligently cultivating to gather enough experience to upgrade to level 10.

It’s worth noting that it had taken her just over a year to advance from level 1 to level 9, yet just this single level upgrade took almost half that time.

And this was only possible because she had cultivated various plants brought from the Emerald World, which do not exist in reality, earning substantial rewards from natural power.

Now, she had already cultivated most of the common and Magic Plants seeds available for purchase or obtainable in the Emerald World.

If she couldn’t rely on cultivating a type of plant to "shear the sheep" at nature twice, and didn’t think of another method, her speed of accumulating Professional Experience might slow down even more. It was unclear how long it would now take to reach Level 10.

Mu Ying sighed.

She could only console herself that, due to the world being at a point of evolution, humans from Deep Blue Star had already received considerable support from the Evolution Center, drastically speeding up their strength enhancement.

The information lockdown by the Evolution Center on Deep Blue Star was gradually being lifted, with restrictions slowly fading post the City-level Territory competition.

Those foreign human shopkeepers who had settled in territories of Deep Blue Star, as well as the foreign races who had relocated entirely to Deep Blue Star and were relatively friendly to humans, had gradually revealed much external information.

The existence of the Evolution Center and the Multiverse, with its countless Life Planets, was no longer a secret.

The Player Manual was not exclusive to the human players logged into the game from Deep Blue Star.

Instead, it was something granted by the universe at birth to all intelligent races capable of participating in the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial for Source Power competition, somewhat akin to an identity document from an earthly nation on Deep Blue Star before the apocalypse.

However, this document is private; no one checks your Player Manual. You can hide it so only you can see it, or you can choose to show it to others at your discretion.

But the Player Manuals of newborns in the Multiverse don’t come with any language instruction or skill knowledge infusion, nor does it automatically provide and reveal Divine Skill profession spells upon leveling up.

All knowledge must be acquired by reading physical texts or from a teacher.

The Player Manual is merely an auxiliary tool for recording professional information and not like those given to Deep Blue Star players, which include language packages and professional knowledge packages, significantly reducing the learning difficulty and costs for them.

According to foreigners, this is a subsidy from the Evolution Center for the new residents of newly born star planets, these free knowledge packages a special benefit exclusively for the transformed humans from Deep Blue Star. Post the City-level Territory Competition, newborns will have to learn step by step just like the residents of other races outside of Deep Blue Star.
