Chapter 536: Chapter 519 Talent Test

"Mom, what exactly is the Inheritance Seed?" Mu Ying asked curiously, "Why do Little Young Gods who accept the Inheritance Seed immediately know the type and extent of Law Affinity they possess?"

How can the bearers of Talent directly discern the type and level of their own talents? Generally speaking, isn’t this something external tests are supposed to determine?

Maeve had already grown accustomed to her curious baby’s various questions and patiently explained, "The Inheritance Seed is condensed according to the innate abilities of the Young God. For example, since mom has an affinity for the Water, Earth, and Wood Laws, besides the general knowledge inheritance, the inheritance within my seed only contains the foundational strength of these three basic Laws. Also, mom’s Affinity with the Water Element Law has reached a level that allows control over a Divine Position. Therefore, the inheritance in this aspect only contains the knowledge related to Divine Positions that require Water Element Law Affinity. We judge the talents of Young Gods by looking at the types and degrees of inheritance contained within the Inheritance Seed."

Mu Ying automatically translated Maeve’s mother’s explanation in a way she could understand.

So, the Inheritance Seed is like a big knowledge package—all the things you can learn are packaged and sent to you, and you can tell what you can learn by looking at what’s inside the package. This is the so-called Talent test.

"Come on, Baby Ying, let’s begin. Mom will be waiting right outside for you!" Maeve said, holding her and bringing her to an empty flower stand, before placing her on top of it.

Mu Ying nodded her head and sat on the flower stand, closing her eyes.

She distinctly felt something being guided out of her body, gradually losing sensory contact with her surroundings, almost like the sensation when asleep.

However, while sleeping, her spiritual world was dark and she couldn’t see anything, but now, in the darkness, there was a four-color gleaming seed twinkling.

Each twinkle left a permanent streak of light in her spiritual world.

At first, it was a faint grey light. Mu Ying touched it and saw some knowledge about the growth stages of the Divine Race.

From the Divine Embryo to the Young God and then the Apprentice God, it clearly laid out the distinctive growth characteristics of each stage of the Divine Race.

Some of it Mu Ying had previously learned from Maeve and Nicole, and some were unknown to her. But regardless of whether it was familiar or not, a brief look revealed a wealth of knowledge.

As she reached out to touch each new grey light, she discovered that each contained a vast amount of knowledge.

Mu Ying quickly realized that these pale grey lights represented the general knowledge contained within the Inheritance Seed.

The pale grey light covered the base layer of her spiritual world, followed by a light green light.

Mu Ying checked it out and it was the strength inheritance of the Wood Law, including how to borrow the power of the Law and how to manipulate that segment of Divine Power.

The brightness of the lights increased from dim to bright; the brighter the light, the more advanced the knowledge it contained, and it occupied a part of the lower area of her spiritual world.

Then came the light blue lights, similar to the light green lights—this was the strength inheritance of the Water Law.

After the Water Law was a light brown light, representing that she also possessed an affinity talent for the Earth Element Law.

Following the light brown was a faint golden light. Mu Ying had anticipated the first three as Maeve had also discerned them from the Divine Marks on her eggshell, but the last kind she was not so sure about.

Mu Ying carefully checked the knowledge contained within.

"Law of Destiny?" This was a somewhat unfamiliar Law.

In the World of Gods, the Law Affinity Talent of a Young God is not inherited but completely random and based on luck.

Mu Ying’s compatibility with the role body in this world is one hundred percent, and that compatibility pertains to her real self.

Water, Earth, and Wood are all connected to nature and relate to her Elf Bloodline, Green Witch Bloodline, and the Druid profession, which are also the directions of Affinity she needs.

But the affinity with the Law of Destiny puzzled Mu Ying at first. After careful thought and a little research into the knowledge of the power related to the Law of Destiny, she began to understand a bit.

The power of the Law of Destiny is probably somewhat related to her Curse Magic and Blessing Magic; compared to Magic, the power of Law is stronger and more comprehensive.

These four colors of light occupied the lower layer of Mu Ying’s spiritual world, representing the types of Laws she had an affinity with.

Then, a deep green light appeared, representing the divine knowledge related to the single Wood Law. This light, too, changed from dim to bright, indicating the divine position from low to high.

This meant that her affinity level with the Wood Law was sufficient for her to hold a related Divine Position.

Deep blue and deep brown lights followed closely after, with a deep golden light appearing last.

Mu Ying was extremely delighted. All four of her Affinity Laws had reached the level where she could take up a Divine Position. This meant she had the opportunity to earn Divine Power Crystals from these four Laws, which would increase her related Divine Powers.

The lights of these single Law divine knowledge were the most numerous, occupying the middle layer of her spiritual world.

Following these were tricolor lights in green-blue, green-brown, and blue-brown, representing the knowledge of dual Law divine positions, situated in the upper layer of her spiritual world. Although only three types, their number was not small, and their system complex.

Above this section of light were strands of green-blue-brown light, which were the knowledge of the three Law divine positions.

It didn’t end there. Above this section of light, there were yet others that contained all four colors, representing even more advanced knowledge of the four Law divine positions.

After the last four-colored light appeared, the Inheritance Seed completely lost its color and disappeared in her spiritual world.

The remaining lights were all the knowledge Mu Ying had to learn in her divine life, almost filling her entire spiritual world.

Just by looking at these lights brimming with knowledge, Mu Ying felt fulfilled yet overwhelmed, suddenly feeling that the long lifespan of the Divine Race might not be enough. With so much to penetrate, she wondered if hundreds of thousands of years would suffice!

With the disappearance of the Inheritance Seed, Mu Ying also gained absolute control over her spiritual world. She felt that she could leave at any time to wake up, and similarly, she could enter this place whenever she wanted by falling into a deep sleep.

From then on, she would no longer be passively slipping into slumber, but could control the duration of her sleep herself.

In this way, she could manage her Trial Time well, no longer have to stay in the trial because she didn’t know when she would wake up, and thus avoid delaying the arrangements in the real world.

The exploration of the Trial World had initially begun on the right track, and she had a clear idea of what to do next: study well, pass the divine profession exams, and earn Divine Power Crystals.

Mu Ying was not in a hurry to look into this inherited knowledge, as she wanted to wake up first and share the good news with Maeve’s mother!
