Que Zhan fell silent.

"The Ancestral Civilization is gone. Don't you want to know why?" asked Ye Guan.

"The truth can be cruel. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss," Que Zhan said.

Ye Guan smiled. "You've recovered some of your memories, haven't you?"

Que Zhan nodded. "Most of them. I remember a lot now."

"You're stopping us for our own good?"

Que Zhan nodded once more..

Ye Guan pointed at the Great Daoist Brush Master. "Can you beat him?"

Que Zhan looked at him and shook his head. "There are two people here that I can't beat, and he's one of them."

"Really?" Ye Guan laughed. "Don't tell me the other one's me? Hahaha."

"You should go in first," Que Zhan said suddenly.

Sui Gujin joined him.

Ye Guan cupped his fists and thanked Que Zhan. Then, they approached the water droplet. Up close, it looked like an ordinary drop of water. It was clear and unremarkable. However, no one could ever imagine that such a simple droplet of water actually contained the terrifying Ancestral Civilization.

"How do we go inside?" Ye Guan asked.

"Just take one step forward," Que Zhan replied.

Just then, Shang Hongyi and the others appeared. The Great Daoist Brush Master was present as well. He looked at the Ruler Divine Temple and revealed a strange smile.

Ye Guan said, "Not everyone's here yet, right?"

The Great Daoist Brush Master looked at him. "Why are you so eager to fight?"

"I just don't want to waste time."

"Fair. So, shall we lay our cards on the table? You first, or us?"

Ye Guan looked at Sui Gujin.

"We'll go first," Sui Gujin said. She opened her palm, and a halo rose from it. When it reached the sky, it expanded tens of thousands times its size, becoming a huge halo blotting out the starry skies.
