I Don't Want To Be An Omega In My Sister's Trashy Reverse Harem [BL] -
Chapter 32: Can I Control Rin?
Chapter 32: Can I Control Rin?
Rin couldn’t move for a moment, hearing Lucien’s threat. His feet were glued to the floor as he stared across the clinic. Through the lifted blinds, Lucien stood with the kind of terrifying calm that didn’t need yelling to shake a room. His eyes were cold, unreadable, and focused only on him.
On Rin.
’Why is he here? Has he been stalking me? Watching me?’
He clenched his fist, turning to Dorian who had pinned Theron to the floor.
"Dorian, Let. Him. Go," Rin said again, his voice firmer this time but Dorian didn’t move. He didn’t show any sign of listening to Rin at all. Theron was still on the floor, his hands struggling against the tendrils of shadow magic that pinned him down like he was no more than a stray caught in a trap.
"Get off me, you bastard!" Theron grunted as he struggled, but Dorian didn’t budge. He was too strong.
"I said let him go!" Rin barked again. He stepped forward, as if he could help Theron.
Before he could get closer, a loud crack echoed. The clinic doors swung open with a violent force as Lucien stepped inside, ignoring Theron, who was on the floor. He walked in with his damned head raised. His uniform shirt was struggling with his huge chest.
Theron’s head snapped up. His lips curled in a grimace.
"Lucien Vortellion... You’re breaking the school rules. Do you know the implications of doing that?"
Lucien didn’t glance at him.
He walked straight to Rin, gently took his hand, and kissed it softly... deliberately. He was satisfied that there wasn’t a whiff of Theron’s scent on his body.
"Good," he mumbled under his breath before turning to Theron with a venomous smile.
"You’re lucky you didn’t touch this hand, Theron Daril," Lucien said, his voice calm but laced with threat. "I would’ve cut yours off."
"Get off me!" Theron growled, still struggling with the shadow magic. "I’m a staff, an Alpha and you are a damned student. This is abuse of...!"
"I’m not just a... damned student, Daril. I’m a Vortellion," Lucien snapped. "That’s a title that doesn’t need to follow school rules."
Dorian’s magic coiled tighter.
Theron’s body jerked. He let out a strained grunt, veins bulging against his neck.
Rin’s eyes widened, seeing as Theron kept struggling even harder.
"Lucien, stop it!"
Theron kept his gaze on Lucien.
"Even if you want Rin for yourself... it won’t work. He’s a staff member. You’re just a student. You can’t take him with you when you leave."
Lucien’s smile widened.
"I graduate in five weeks," he said, voice low. "Then, I won’t be a student anymore. And you know what that means, right?"
He turned to Rin and said gently,
"I’ll take you with me."
Rin blinked. He didn’t like the sound of that. It was as if Lucien was trying to gain control over his life. Almost as if he had no say in it.
His lips parted, shocked by the assumption.
"I never agreed to that," Rin said. "I’m not going anywhere with you."
Lucien’s eyes twitched. The veins near his temple pulsed, but his smile remained.
"Oh?" he hummed, stepping closer. He grabbed Rin’s arm... not harsh, but not gentle either. "You’ll come with me... whether you like it or not."
"I won’t!" Rin snapped, yanking his arm. "Once you graduate, leave this place and never come back. Go do your Alpha domination somewhere else!"
He scowled.
’God, that’d be peaceful... If Lucien leaves, and Theron finally gives up... maybe this hellhole will actually feel normal again and I won’t have to suffer like the female lead did,’
The thought alone almost made him smile.
Lucien let go of his arm and nodded slowly.
"Sure," he said. "Stay. I won’t stop you. Let’s do what you want,"
But Rin saw the lie in his eyes. It was clear. Lucien obviously didn’t know anything about giving up.
Especially when it comes to Rin. Not ever.
Rin shoved his hand away, annoyed.
"Of course, I’m going to stay. I don’t need your permission to stay where I want or go whenever I wish,"
Lucien turned back to Theron, who was still bound, breathing heavily.
Rin sighed, folding his arms.
"Order Dorian to let him go. This is childish and you’re not a child, Lucien,"
Lucien looked down at Theron like a roach on the floor. His jaw flexed. He itched to stomp him into the tiles. Maybe break a few ribs. Maybe more.
He didn’t like it as Rin asked him to release Theron. He has been watching them for a few days. He was pleased to see Rin doing as ’he’ wanted. Throwing Theron’s gift away, ignoring him like he never existed. He was glad to know that nothing would happen between them. But now, Rin was asking him to release Theron.
’He doesn’t have something for this man, does he? Because if he does, it’s only right that I kill him now,’
The thought of stomping him to death came again
But instead...
"Dorian," Lucien called.
The shadow magic recoiled like smoke in a breeze and Dorian stepped away from him.
Theron gasped, pushing himself up with weak arms.
He staggered to his feet, rubbing his neck and wrists.
And then... he launched forward to attack Lucien.
His fist pulled back...
Lucien didn’t flinch but he turned to Rin and looked back at him.
"You want to fight in front of Rin?" Lucien asked, eyes narrowing. "Go ahead. Let him watch me break your bones."
Theron froze. His arm trembled. He has been pinned to the floor till he was rendered weak. Even without being tied up, there’s no way he would win a fight against a damn Vortellion.
Rin didn’t speak. He wanted to see what Lucien would do, but the tension in the room made his instincts crawl.
Lucien leaned in.
"Leave," he whispered in Rin’s ear, voice like poison honey.
"I don’t want to. Are you trying to kill him?"
"Kill him? I would have done that in front of you. But this is for your own good... unless you want to be triggered by this bastard’s pheromones."
Rin’s eyes widened.
"Shit...!"
He spun, glanced between both of them and returned his gaze to Lucien.
"You’d better not hurt him. He’s my boss,"
"Your boss? Really?" Lucien asked but Rin ignored him and stormed out of the room, mumbling curses under his breath.
Lucien watched him leave, close the door behind and turned back to Theron, watching his every breath.
"You know," he said, cracking his knuckles. "Last time this clinic was almost destroyed, when Rin was attacked. The nurses must have had a tough time patching it up. I wonder if history wants to repeat itself. Maybe this time, I’ll make it crash to the ground."
It was true and Theron knew it. He didn’t want the clinic destroyed again. He pulled back his fist, then smirked, even while panting slowly.
"Rin doesn’t hate me... He was just pushing me away because of you. That’s what this is all about. You’re the one who’s scaring him. You think you can control Rin?"
Lucien didn’t deny it, but why was he bothered by that final question?
’Can I control Rin? Alphas have every power and right to control omegas, and Rin is no exception. Of course, I can control him,’
He stepped closer, getting even annoyed as he thought of that.
"Why do you think I can’t control Rin?" he asked. "You’re just excited that once I leave the academy, you’ll have him to yourself."
Theron’s smile faltered.
"What are you talking about? You’re not thinking of..."
Lucien leaned in, whispering now.
"That’s right... Rin will be with me forever. Even if it means breaking his legs and dragging him with me to the capital. But this is a warning, Baron Theron Daril, if you touch him again... Your soul would wake up in your own room with your heart missing and all traces of your murder would be erased."
Theron paled.
Sweat bloomed across his temples, rolling down his chin. He tried to open his mouth to say something but they slammed shut. He clenched his fist so no one would see his hands trembling.
He was speechless for over five minutes and before he could get himself again...
Lucien and Dorian were gone.
The room was empty again.
Theron dropped onto a bench, staring at the floor as his fingers trembled. He couldn’t stop them this time.
"That bastard Vortellion! Shit!" He grunted angrily, pounding his fist on the bench.
