I Don't Want To Be An Omega In My Sister's Trashy Reverse Harem [BL] -
Chapter 22: An Omega... In The Vortellion Estate!
Chapter 22: An Omega... In The Vortellion Estate!
Rin stood frozen, his back still pinned against the wall by an arrow, eyes wide and unblinking as the two omegas... those damn, lovestruck psychos... held their daggers high almost driving it to his chest with their faces twisted with jealousy and bloodlust.
He was still struggling to breathe, his mind racing, and his heart pounding.
Then it happened.
He had thought it was an explosion or Lucien kicking down the door in another shirtless glory.
Nope.
It was the cold, clean voice of the last man Rin expected to see and he had gotten himself in trouble by calling Lucien’s name.
"I’ll deal with you later," He said as he stepped further into the room and turned to the girls. "Step away from him."
Rin was still relieved that he had been saved. Even if it wasn’t by Lucien, he was still relieved.
’Wait! Did I want Lucien to come rescue me like some knight in shining armour? But what is the head doctor doing here? Didn’t he leave with Elna? Did he forget something?’
"Move out of the way," one of the omegas growled at Theron. "This doesn’t concern you. That lying seducer needs to die."
"Seducer?" Theron raised a brow, slightly curious about what they were talking about.
"You have no idea what this person is like," the other added, aiming another arrow at Rin. "He seduced Lucien. He’s a manipulative bitch... just like all pretty ones."
Rin gawked.
"What kind of Netflix villain lines are those?! I did nothing with him!"
But Theron didn’t flinch.
He sighed.
"I’ve had enough of your yells and drama," Theron sighed, rubbing his temple with his thumb. "You have ten seconds to drop your weapons before I call security."
Neither of the girls moved.
"Is that your choice?" He asked. Still silence. "Fine,"
Theron slipped his coat off, folded it neatly, and turned to Rin.
"Hold this. Don’t ruin it. I hate stains."
Rin accepted the coat with the same confusion as if someone had handed him a bouquet during a mugging.
Theron adjusted his tie slowly. His fingers were calm. Precise.
Then he stepped forward and they flinched even when he didn’t touch them. He didn’t need to.
The room shifted immediately as a pressure heavier than gravity filled the air as Theron released a wave of Pheromones. It was heavy and filled with pure dominance.
It wasn’t anything sweet or spicy. Just... commanding.
Rin could feel it, but it didn’t overwhelm him. The weight pushed only toward the two omegas. They trembled, dropping their weapons and falling to their knees, dazed.
Theron took out his comm crystal.
"This is Head Doctor Theron Daril. Send security to the infirmary. We have two students under hormonal influence. Possible attack."
"Message received!" The voice on the other side replied and Rin was shocked to see that.
’So this world has a phone that can be used without any fee? Cool!’
Minutes later, the girls were dragged away, unconscious by the security.
Rin exhaled and leaned against the wall after they pulled the arrow from his coat.
DING!

"I’m going to die at this rate," Rin whispered. He stared at the pink floating box. He has to go through that two more times.
Theron walked over and collected his coat, brushing invisible dust from it.
Rin laughed nervously.
"Uhm... Thanks, head doctor..." He stuttered, watching as Theron wore the coat smoothly without saying a word.
"I’ll just go before the next psychopath arrives." Rin wanted to run away but...
"Wait."
He flinched when he was called back.
"Wait until the security is out. Then come to my office."
Once again, Rin knew he was screwed.
.
.
Inside the office, Theron leaned against his desk, his face unreadable. He watched as Rin slowly entered his office like a shy high school girl.
"What is your relationship with Lucien Vortellion?" he asked.
"I don’t have one." He answered flatly.
"The mark on your neck..."
"Bug bite," Rin answered too quickly.
"Bug bite?" He raised a brow. "I can smell Alpha Pheromones from you."
"I-I treated a bunch of Alpha students today. That’s probably it," Rin said, hands raised in surrender. "I helped with some suppressants on them. Maybe their Pheromones rubbed off on my clothes."
Theron’s eyes narrowed. "You’re lying. Again."
Rin remained quiet, fidgeting. But his expression stayed neutral.
"I had hoped to use this incident as a reason to remove you from the academy." Theron turned around and picked up a small silver key. "You got lucky I forgot something and arrived too soon. If not, you’d have been long dead,"
He stepped past Rin and slammed the door close.
Rin let out a silent breath of relief with his hand on his chest.
He turned to leave the office, too, and winced when he felt a sharp pain. He grunted as he pulled his coat from his body and...
The door flung open again, and Theron, who was about to order Rin to tidy up the ruined clinic, paused as he noticed Rin unbuttoning his shirt.
Rin paused mid-unbutton.
"It’s not what it looks like. I got scratched. That’s all."
Blood was staining the upper side of his arm.
Theron frowned, entering the office again.
"Sit down."
"I’m fine..."
"I said, sit." He reached for a green box at the corner of a shelf.
Rin finally took off his shirt and climbed onto the edge of the desk, still wary. Theron leaned in. He wasn’t wearing his glasses, so he had to go closer to see the wound.
Rin watched him squint.
"You need your glasses."
"I left them outside my dorm before storming here to grab my key."
"Would you like me to grab them for you?"
"No need. I can see without it," he responded and flashed him a hard glare. "I don’t like my patients blabbing too much while undergoing treatments,"
"I don’t like male doctors leaning close to me but here we are."
Theron silently dabbed alcohol on the wound.
Rin hissed.
"Fuck! That stings."
"Good. It means you’re still alive. You should be fucking thankful,"
The distance between them shrank. Theron’s breath brushed Rin’s cheek. His hands were precise, careful, like everything else about him.
When the wound was covered, Theron leaned back.
"Done." He pulled the gloves from his hands.
Rin nodded. "Thank you, Head Doctor,"
"You should leave. And don’t come early tomorrow."
"What?"
"You’re injured."
Rin blinked.
"Oh. Wow. Um... okay... I mean," He bowed politely. "Thanks again, Doctor."
He turned toward the door.
As he walked out, he heard Theron mutter something but he didn’t hear clearly.
"Why did I get hard because of a man?"
Rin froze mid-step.
"Did you say something, sir?"
"Nothing, just get out!" Theron yelled.
"I thought he was nicer..." Rin mumbled as he left the office.
Theron watched him leave and then stared at the piece of fabric he had torn off earlier... Rin’s blood-stained shirt. He lifted it slowly... sniffed.
"Sweet," he whispered. "Almost too sweet. Is it his perfume?"
He shoved the shirt into his pocket.
"It doesn’t matter,"
.
.
Back in the dorms, Rin limped toward his room, exhausted. He was thinking about how he was going to head straight to bed.
But there he was.
Lucien. Leaning on the wall beside his door.
Rin’s heart sank.
"Not now... please not now."
He avoided eye contact and reached for his door, opening it.
Lucien stepped in.
"You’re late."
"I had a situation," Rin muttered. "Besides, you’re not my babysitter,"
Lucien didn’t budge.
Rin pushed his door and entered. He wanted to close it but Lucien stopped it with one hand and walked inside.
"I never said you could enter..."
"I knew you wouldn’t come for training," Lucien said, eyes softening slightly. "I came to apologise."
Rin blinked. He never thought the almighty Rin could apologise.
"You should..." He wanted to reply, but he froze when Lucien moved close to him.
Lucien’s nose twitched as he leaned in.
"What is that scent?"
"What scent?" He asked, getting annoyed.
He grabbed Rin’s arms, pressing them tightly.
"Who were you with?"
Rin winced in pain.
"Ow... damn it, let go!"
Lucien looked at the bandaged arm that was already stained with blood. His expression softened immediately.
"I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to..."
"You’re making it worse," Rin snapped. "Just get out."
But Lucien didn’t move.
"I’m sorry, Rin. I want to tell you something."
"I don’t want to hear it."
"Please."
Rin sighed.
Lucien lowered his head.
"The reason I keep trying to find out your secret... is because of my twin brother."
Rin froze.
"You have a twin?"
It wasn’t mentioned in the book, not like he finished reading it.
Lucien nodded.
"However... He’s an omega."
An omega? In the Vortellion household?
