Chapter 350 - chapter 350: A lump of energy

the authority of time, space, and gravity dwell on the bullet. Without missing a beat Apollo loaded it and aim it to the strongest celestial rank among the surviving magical beast. A silent killer went on and shot the ground surrounding the target. Its power pulse like an echo channelling the three authorities. Like a falling avalanche the sea of moving enemies suddenly fall on their knees surprising Alya who was still in the control room.

{Apollo, fire a three spell from wind, fire and earth magic. Aim it at those beasts}

Alya then sents harmless laser beams to show Apollo his targets.

"You are still here?"

Apollo did as he was told to, he created bullets and embedded them with three different spells}

Three gunshots rang, aiming at the three celestial whose body was able to withstand the previous relentless attack of Apollo and the Mage's of the tower.

Feeling the impending danger those three celestial beasts instinctly pull thier skills to defend.

Despite the pull of the previous authorities they were still able to somehow pull something to defend thier body.

"They are tough, I have been attacking them but still they are still alive kicking"

The three bullets were only able to weakened but not to kill them.

But still the beast were already push to the point they can barely stand up. Their deaths were near but their desire for power was still there. Thier aim was still the same, they wanted to reach the mines and absorbed all the mana and reach a rank higher than celestial. Unfortunately for them, the mana that those mines contains also enticed humans. And such resources will be fought to be protected.

"Those celestial beasts are as good as dead, their status is no longer stable as before and thier attributes are declining fast. I only need one more shot"

Apollo created another round of bullets and fire it to the remaining celestial beast.

It was supposed to end the most troublesome fellas among the enemy line when suddenly Apollo, Alya and Jeremiah pick something extremely unpleasant.

{Everyone focus your attack at the eastern part of the battlefield!} Her voice rang on their earpiece.

"Wait let me help!" Alicia also sense the danger and change the form of her mana. It became tainted corrupted one that resembles a devil more than a human. A grey magic circle form on her hand before shooting on the eastern side of the enemy lines. Sonya and the other mages also focus thier spells at that spot while Apollo change the composition of his bullets and aimingit at the approaching enemy.

"Jeremiah the conquering spell strengthen it!"

"Okay!"

The joint attacks pave thier way to the target and an impact comparable to Apollo's spell shook the fortress once more.

As the wave of energy lunge forward Apollo who was standing on top of the watch tower almost got blown away. The power of the blast increase every passing second making it even difficult for him to see.

"Enertia" he command and his body stayed on the roof, not moving an inch.

"Jeremiah report on the enemy!"

Apollo immediately formulated another bullets based on the data about the new enemy. Now the problem is how can he shoot it with the masssiv energy that is still exploding at every second.

Golden sparks of light began to revolve around him until it turn into a protective shield that protected him. He then dismissed the previous command and went on and took his shoot. The bullet was fired into the storm of clashing energy, enduring the chaotic pull to obey the blow of impact. Apollo monitor the beast and could only see a lump of energy. This energy was against the joint attack before being shot by a bullets that immediately throw the beast into a corner.

A roar was heard followed by an even greater shockwave that force Apollo to extend the range of Light of Aegis. A dome of white light protected the fortress while Jeremiah teleported the mechanical soldiers to safety.

[Creator the soldiers are wa too battered to fight, I shall borrowed one of your skills Creator to fix them]

"Sure go ahead have it fix"

Apollo's gaze didn't leave the enemy even though he still couldn't see its true form he wanted to see how it manage to fend off his bullet. The impact subsided and the battlefield was also affected despite the impact coming from far side of the east.

Alya's voice was heard stoping both Apollo and Alicia from diving into the enemy.

She added, both the mages of the tower and the two didn't object Alya's reasoning they didn't even raise questions. They just stood where they are observing. The current arena of death then continue its marching despite the previous waves of energy that shook them. It seems the horde cant be stop even if a powerful beast arrive.

"Damn it, its moving"

Apollo felt agitated this is the second time he had seen a stat that didn't give him any idea of what kind of enemy he is seeing.

"That thing" he heard Alicia, who was already standing right beside him.

Apollo gave a wary look as he heard that statement.

"What to do they are still celestial and duke ranks coming in here"

Then with a flick of his finger Alicia's fingure disappear along the golden shards that warp her body.

"I know I already felt them, keep decreasing the horde, I will keep the strong ones busy"

Apollo teleported and appear right at the middle of the battlefield. As he lands he killed several beasts by manipulating the space.

Then his pupils narrowed into glowing slits as the power of the system assist him. Now his vision is better than beforehand.

With the added assistance he could seet thier weaknesses and immediately he took out his revolver, what he wants to do is to prepare the stage where they need to fight.

"Let's begin."

He surged forwardfiring a bullet, a blur of motion came across the projectile creating a shockwave that cut across the storm-wracked field.

"First celestial knock out, I will deal the final blow later after I deal with these folks. He look around him and saw several beasts that is ready to attack.

The first beast—a Dire Crystalline Lupus—howled, releasing a pulse of sonic magic. The sound rippled across the battlefield, fracturing the ground.

Apollo didn't flinch. His form shimmered into light, heat intensify and electricity surge. His spear, materialized above his palm mid-dash and extended as his Authority activated.

"Thunder Aura: Positive Lightning."

The spear became a lightning rod. Static snapped in his hair and eyes, arcs of black-blue lightning crackling across his body. He leapt high into the air, twisting above the wolf's strike, then drove spear down.

The impact was brutal, lightning flooded through the wolf's crystalline armor, bypassing its defenses with pinpoint like thin paper.

The beast screeched once. Then fell, steam rising from its shattered form.

Apollo landed cleanly preparing to cast another spell, only to be interrupted by a shadow looming overhead. The massive serpent, a Stormflare Basilisk, it appeared out of nowhere, its maw wide with charging fire.

Jeremiah chirped.

Apollo's fingers twitched.

Apollo raise his spear and embedding it with the power of lightning.

A circle of bright light spun around him as he create a force to intercept the attack. The basilisk's beam collided with it and with the power in the spear he guided the beam away before slashing across his enemy's body. He seize the opening to kill and take down another enemy. And right after that he gave a command

"Gravity 500 times."
