Chapter 916: 472 Qi Burst Through Ultimate Fighter’s Opportunity (4300)_2 Chapter 916: 472 Qi Burst Through Ultimate Fighter’s Opportunity (4300)_2 Looking at his face again, some had bulging muscles, some had crazed eyes, some had a chilling gaze sharp as a knife, and some had a depth like an abyss. Carrying a sense of oppression, exuding the aura of the strong, it would make one’s legs go weak with just one distant glance.

Tap tap tap…

The sound of footsteps stopped beside Mirror Lake, and a figure slowly emerged. It was none other than Otto, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, personifying elegance, dressed in a skin-tight black combat suit. A smile graced his face, yet in his hand, he held a pitiable silhouette that struggled incessantly. His five fingers, like the claws of an eagle, grasped its prey, refusing to let go, firmly locked around the neck.

He slowly raised his palm, easily suspending the Blood Clan member in mid-air.

“Did you see how your two companions died just now?” Otto asked and answered with a gentle smile, “They were eaten. One was thrown into a meat grinder-like fog and ground into dust, inch by inch. The other was dismembered by nine pythons, tsk tsk tsk, such brutal methods…”

“But I’m different, I won’t be as crude as those two,” he said, as a flash of light seemed to pass beneath his eyes, “I am willing to give you a chance now. Just answer me honestly, what were the direct descendants of the Blood Clan from the Alfama Mountains sending you to do? Where is the gathering place of those direct descendants within the mountains? I’ll give you five seconds—five, four…”

“I’ll talk! I’ll talk!” the Blood Clan member roared hoarsely.

Soon, Otto got the information he wanted.

“I’ve told you everything, you should keep your promise and let me go!” the Blood Clan member gasped for breath, his face full of terror. There was no sign of the unrestrained arrogance and haughtiness he had when he brutally killed the fishermen.

Now the positions were reversed, it was the ant.

The ant that could be wiped out by the man before it at any moment.

“Let you go? When did I say I would let you go?” Otto’s expression suddenly went blank, his gaze turned icy, “I said I would give you a chance to answer honestly; I never promised you anything. Don’t fabricate things in your mind, don’t be so dramatic, don’t overthink it…”

After completing his statement, he suddenly revealed an extremely chilling smile, “Oh, wait, there is something. I did promise not to be as crude as those two. So let’s make your death a bit more graceful…”

Snap.

With one push of his palm, the Blood Clan member was sent flying into the air.

Underneath Otto’s eyes, two white lights surged out. His hands boldly swept through the air, gliding out a hauntingly dreamlike moon silhouette amidst the airflow.

The delicate and beautiful arc of the moon flashed by, and Otto didn’t even glance at the Blood Clan member suspended in mid-air. He turned around and walked towards the center of the formation.

Behind him, the struggle and terror on the Blood Clan member’s face seemed to freeze like a statue. The next second the entire face shattered into place as if made of building blocks, turning into a standard cube of flesh and blood about two centimeters in length, width, and height.

Crack crack crack…

The Blood Clan member’s entire body crumbled, all falling into the lake water. At this moment, the hazy moon silhouette Otto had waved out earlier finally couldn’t hold any longer and burst apart. Ping! A large part of the lake surface near the shore resonated with the moon silhouette, creating uniform square water patterns.

It was as if countless fractured pieces of glass and ice were piled together.

Beneath, the chunked pieces of the Blood Clan member’s corpse rolled and tumbled in the blood in the water. Its rough shape formed a crude shadow of a Blood Moon.

Across the colorful lake surface, there was an eerily beautiful mirage of flowers reflected in the water.

“My Lord, I have extracted the information; the Blood Clan’s settlement is at…”

Within the formation of black-clothed individuals, Otto spoke in front of Casio.

Beside him, Fog Man and Nine snakes wore expressions of disdain, but within that disdain, there was a hint of jealousy. This old boy Otto really knew how to win the favor of the Headmaster. His strength wasn’t much to speak of in the beginning, yet now he had climbed over their heads, with the Headmaster’s favor and teachings.

Hmph, one day they would also receive the Headmaster’s affection!

Let us not mention these bizarre creatures planning to secretly vie for favor—the visuals that hurt the eyes. At the center of the formation, Casio listened closely to the intelligence Otto had extracted. After pondering for a while, he found that some of the critical locations were not much different from his third retrospection. In general, they were still distributed around the underground Oyon Ruins, with caves and villages included.

Even more central ones lived on the outskirts of the ruins.

Casio had come with a clear purpose: to slaughter those high-rank Blood Clan members hiding in the ruins in hibernation. Additionally, to obtain the False Death Elixir and its formula for the Ghost Iron Knight at Black Rain Villa, providing a safety net for their mission, as he had promised earlier.

Thoughts swirling in his mind, Casio glanced at Mirror Lake in the distance.

He gestured for the squad to continue moving forward without the slightest delay.

Currently, his cultivation progress of the Qi Chapter of the Magic puppet secret weapon had reached 87.1%, with only 2.9% to go until 90%. This meant that once Casio filled that 2.9%, he could elevate his Qi realm to the Extreme Fighter Level. Thus, in both physique and Qi, reaching the Extreme Fighter level without any weaknesses, genuinely striving to glimpse into the Holy Fist Realm.

After that, Casio grew more confident in his quest for the third Southern Dipper Secret Transmission in the Immortal Islands, not fearing any danger or obstacles.

Tap, tap, tap …

A series of footsteps quickly vanished among the green trees of the mountain forest.

On the spot, all that remained were a crowd of fishermen looking at each other with puzzled faces, their eyes filled with a mixture of confusion and expectation as they gazed toward the Alfama Mountains. Although these men in black did not seem like good people in terms of their appearance and aura, it appeared that they were specifically targeting the bat monsters in the Alpha Mountain Range. They had brutally slain one of the Blood Clan members right in front of all the fishermen, the same one who arrogantly killed Peter earlier. As this powerful force composed of hunting teams headed deeper into the mountains, would they continue to eradicate more of these monstrous scourges?

On the fishing boats, many fishermen silently bowed their heads in prayer.

Several hours later, in the Alfama Mountains, the forest was dense, and the terrain was rugged.

In a clearing amidst the woods, a small team of four Mercury Hunters was forging a path with machetes, constantly cutting through branches and thorns to make a makeshift road.

They were vigilant, eyes scanning their surroundings periodically, clearly aware that they were now in the area where the direct descendants of the Blood Clan roamed deeper in the Alfama Mountains.

Crack! A branch blocking their path was chopped off.

The four stepped out of the woods and onto a green grassland. Before them was a small lake, perhaps more of a pond, surrounded by an open field with visible trails of frequently visiting animals.

They approached the pond, intending to leave a mark.

Suddenly, water splashed from the pond as several creatures, half-human, half-bat, burst forth with bloodthirsty eagerness in their eyes.

The four Mercury Hunters swiftly retreated, their crossbows firing wildly to temporarily repel the Blood Clan. Then, they quickly erected a wooden stake marked like a cross and turned to leave.

It seemed as though they did not take the threat of these Blood Clan members seriously at all.

“We’ll leave them to you, we are off to set up the next road sign.”

The Mercury Hunters called back to the path they had just cleared through the woods.

“Roar!!”

The Blood Clan members who had fallen back into the water let out angry roars; the pond exploded with movement as they furiously leaped out again.

However, suddenly, several shadows shot out of the forest like arrows.

The ground thumped and deep bootprints were left behind, the shadows moving with incredible speed, their force as intimidating as a black bear pouncing on prey. They collided with the Blood Clan in mid-air, evidently gaining the upper hand and forcing the half-human, half-bat creatures back into the pond.

Water sprayed everywhere as the shadows plunged into the pond with a gale force!

Thump thump thump! Clang clang clang! Crunch!

“Aaah!!”

Immediately, the pond was filled with screams, and at one point, a severed arm was flung out, bloodied and tumbling onto the shore.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh …

Three dark figures leaped lightly out of the pond; their black clothing was slightly dripping with water and blood. The leader, a towering bald brute with a face full of flesh and an exaggerated scar over his left eye, lifted his hand to reveal a grotesquely distorted head. He brought the head close to his face, looked at it from the front, and suddenly cracked a grim smile, showing off his rotten teeth.

“Got quite the pretty face here; I’m getting a bit excited…”

He took a deep breath and glanced at his two companions. “Old habits kicking in; can’t seem to help it. You guys go on ahead, I’ll take care of this and catch up quickly,” he said, his smile turning crude.

“Sigh, we know, you and your filthy habits.”

“Hurry it up, don’t delay the important stuff …”

The other two, clearly accustomed to this, were unsurprised. They grumbled as they walked away, one picking up a leg from the ground and the other a severed hand, demonstrating a certain harmony.

“Hmph, your kinks aren’t any better than mine,”

the bald brute muttered resentfully while watching his companions leave.
