Chapter 625 - 625 334 Fully Completed Grim Reaper (4000)_2

Chapter 625: 334 Fully Completed Grim Reaper (4000)_2 Chapter 625: 334 Fully Completed Grim Reaper (4000)_2 Crack!

A lit cigarette popped out of his chest, twirling in the air for a couple of seconds before being caught in the mouth by Amos. Two silver sparks flickered at the cigarette end, the rapid friction igniting sparks instantly.

Thin tendrils of smoke concealed the youthful butler’s face.

From afar, Casio, with his arms crossed, watched Amos with interest, his pose akin to someone showing off. He knew that Amos’s personality would change depending on his age group.

Youthful Amos was apparently quite flamboyant.

He radiated a disdainful arrogance, as if he was looking down on everyone.

Moreover, he had nearly a thousand metal threads on him. Casio knew from his experience during the Era of Retrospection that Amos practiced the mysterious secret techniques of Gale, Heavy Rain, and Forces Limit. The first Limit, Gale, could control a single metal thread, infusing it with cutting power. The second Limit, Steel, could control a hundred metal threads, infusing them with both cutting and penetrating power. The third Limit, Absolute, could control a thousand metal threads capable of infusing cutting power, penetrating power, and destructive power.

Amos was currently in the peak state of the second limit- Steel, with over nine hundred threads, a little short from thousand threads.

He still recalled that during the Era of Retrospection, Amos, who was also at the second limit at the time, had just barely reached it, with only around two hundred threads or so. In the decades since, he had clearly made progress.

Moreover, Casio felt that there was more to it. Although the current Amos radiated a strong aura, it was still not enough to pose a threat.

It was a kind of danger that truly threatened one’s life.

So, Amos was still holding back!

“Still hiding your skills? Then I’ll have to force you out!”

Casio slowly raised his hands, which were hanging by his sides, forming fists overall but with two index fingers raised, lightly piercing the air.

On the left, a purple glow was reserved and concentrated.

On the right, a fiery red thread was wild and crazy.

Two completely different auras appeared on either side of his body. Although they should be at odds, they strangely coexisted harmoniously.

“South Dipper Red Vulture (Sonic Snake) Fist!”

Casio articulated the name of the boxing method one word at a time.

It was as if at that moment, two people completely overlapped.

Hisss! Squawk!

The hiss of a snake and the cry of a bird exploded simultaneously in his ears.

A silhouette was already racing out like a cannonball aiming straight for Amos. The metallic threads guarding behind Amos, howling and rushing over like a peacock spreading its tail.

They turned into iron nets, steel hammers, longswords, and giant hands, colliding wildly with Casio.

At that moment, Casio turned into a pure combat machine, every joint in his body working furiously, every part transforming into a weapon. Punches, elbow strikes, knee strikes, spinning kicks…

It was as if he had eight arms and eight legs for battle at that moment, firmly blocking the torrential onslaught of the metallic threads, which were like a waterfall of mercury. He even kept advancing and attacking.

Deathfang Power and Echo Strength coated his every strike, colliding and clashing with the cutting and penetrating force on Gale Silk, resulting in sparks flying with every impact.

At a glance, it looked like weapon forging.

Clusters of firelight dazzled in the air, both brilliant and risky.

At the same time, outside the city block in the shadows, there were two or three cars parked with five or six youths intently watching the center of the battlefield.

“Damn, so this is a top-level fight?”

A freckled-faced youth stared in a daze.

“Mr. Grim Reaper is serious! To think he could push this big butler to nearly go all out, worthy of a core member of the Organization. I’m familiar with one of the names, it’s called Jilan, isn’t it?”

“This fight is going to destroy half the city block. Luckily Mr. Butler ordered us to evacuate the crowd beforehand…” said a round-faced, white-haired young man. As he finished speaking, a colossal object flew towards them, landing a few hundred meters away, breaking into shards. It was half a roof, red tiles scattered about with a clatter.

Shards hit the car, knocking a small hole in it.

“Guys, I think we’re not very safe here either… should we retreat even further into the city block?”

Suddenly, the headquarters commissioners of the Black Mechanism hurriedly fled. They weren’t permanently located at each branch, rather they held positions similar to Interpol. They helped the headquarters track the activities of dangerous forces or individuals. Occasionally, they would follow the real experts of the Black Mechanism in action, assisting in hunting down and eliminating threats.

As for battles, they generally wouldn’t partake.

Elsewhere, the fierce battle persisted.

In the nearly destroyed centre of the street, two silhouettes clashed furiously. The collision of limbs and weapons resulted in deafening blasts like a continuous burst of fireworks in mid-air.

“Screech!”

After a roar, Amos was propelled back, pulling on the threads. He rotated in mid-air then stumbled upon landing.

Unknowingly, the white gloves he wore were stained with blood splatters and marred by bright red marks. It’s clear that the Gale Silk power had reached its limit and he was unable to channel it into his surroundings in time. Some of it had rebounded back into his body.

This resulted in his hands sustaining damage.

If he continued fighting, his hands might be worn away by the threads, exposing his bones and leaving him unable to fight.

Underneath the moonlight, Amos stood quietly. The figure gaining the upper hand didn’t take advantage of his vulnerability. His eyes were half-closed, seemingly understanding the true purpose of the sparring request.

“You want me to go all out? As you wish…”

Under normal circumstances, Amos wouldn’t transform into the second or third form. As it would put his body into a state of overload, inevitably causing bodily harm.

Especially when it comes to the third form — his full strength.

At that moment, Amos would become the true embodiment of The Grim Reaper.

However, his advanced age meant that his body might not be able to withstand the strain. Each use could potentially pose great danger.

What’s more, fighting for an extended period could also result in his demise.

However, he could not comprehend why. He could have chosen to launch a short burst of power then retreat to minimise the cost. Yet, facing Casio’s challenge, he felt a sudden surge of battle desire within him.

He wanted to show the terrifying majesty that only belongs to the Grim Reaper.

Hiss, hiss, hiss, hiss…

That was the sound of metal threads slowly rubbing against the ground.

Amos’s figure started to hunch, from a tall, striking young man, he gradually turned into an older, haggard person. His face was full of wrinkles, hair turned white, and body emaciated. However, his eyes were as sharp as stars, carrying an awe-inspiring dark light.

His movements slowed, his joints stiffened, and his posture changed. The motion of swinging the metal thread was no longer as forceful as in his youth, but instead gentle and slow.

It was as if he was elegantly plucking the strings of a musical instrument.

The Player looked up fleetingly to lock gazes with Casio.

At that moment, Casio felt the hairs on his body stand on end, and goosebumps on his back. He could feel it; it was the familiar threatening sensation that was extremely sharp and had previously emerged briefly before hiding again!

Casio thought he heard a soft, melodious sound as if the wind was gently singing. Upon a closer look, it wasn’t the wind! It was clearly the traces of thousands of metal threads slicing through the air from all directions, flowing with the wind, undulating gently.

No murderous intent in movement, yet extremely dangerous!

The Gale isn’t far from the wind. The Gale Silk was the same, it was also wind silk!

Boom, boom, boom!

Looking up, it seemed as if there was a metal waterfall roaring down from the dome of the sky, obscuring the stars and covering the moon and clouds.

The air suddenly started to escape, bringing a spread of white, like it was being torn apart by the terrifying destruction.

Upon seeing this, Casio finally conveyed a hearty laugh. A column of roaring fire that was a blend of purple, red, and black aura arose from him, instantly painting the hundred-meter-high sky with brilliant colors.

He raised both fists, one above the other, forming a resemblance to a bird’s beak. A thick red light radiated as if it were the sun.

“South Dipper Red Vulture Fist, secret skill!”

Behind Casio,

“Blood Vulture Beak!”
