Elsewhere, within the infirmary of the Water Cloud House.
Spade “K” was discharged, and so was Psychic Ray.
Spade “K” had lost an arm in battle, Psychic Ray’s chest collapsed with only two of his ten fingers intact. Yet these severe injuries had mysteriously recovered.
Spade “K” had grown a new arm, and Ray’s fingers were all there. They didn’t know why, just that it was the doing of Lord Fengxiang.
Hence.
Those who worshipped him worshipped him even more, and those who didn’t, began to.
Water Cloud House, main building, fourth floor, a semi-circle balcony.
Casio had placed a recliner there, with a small table beside it. On the table was a cup of tea and a palm-sized book. After much ado, the Devil’s Book had returned to him. This, it seemed, was fate, divine destiny.
Without the Wisdom Rune, the Blood Spirit Association remained unaware of the even more remarkable book hidden within the Cupan Magic Box. They were merely using the Magic Box as a tool, utterly wasting its potential.
In his seat, Casio savored his tea in the sunlight.
His gaze moved away from the Devil’s Book.
He was temporarily unable to use it because there wasn’t enough Disaster Essence accumulated in the Wisdom Rune. Yet, even if there was enough, Casio would opt to use the Blood of Spirit first.
Without any unexpected circumstances, he would only use the Devil’s Book later.
What weighed on his mind currently was the Shadow Demon. All these days, Casio had been acting according to his original guess. The Demon Idol’s Life Field was operating, continually assimilating the Shadow Demon’s Life Field.
Additionally, he occasionally attempted to operate his Qi, enveloping the trembling Shadow Demon. He wanted to see which color of Qi it was least resistant to. As expected, it was the Red Vulture Qi.
Now, having slaughtered a bunch of members from the Blood Spirit Association, he had Life Vibration Energy in his pocket again. Perhaps he could try to accelerate the refinement of the Shadow Demon, incorporating it as his second division.
Buzzing…
Centered around Casio, the whole spacious balcony seemed to be cloaked in a blurred halo, blocking out the outside world. Leaves falling from the neighboring tall trees, blown in by the wind, seemed to fall onto an invisible barrier when they hit the balcony.
Magnetic Field, Aura, Qi, the three intermingled and resonated.
The Assimilation degree of the Shadow Demon’s Life Field was rapidly increasing, and by the time the halo retreated, two-thirds of the frequency had been assimilated.
“It will only take about two or three more days…” Casio finished the tea on the table, slowly stood up, casting his eyes on the plaza bathed in the midday sun, “The small king and the big king should be here by now, everything is ready for their grand feast…”
“I believe they will be very moved.”
At half-past eleven in the morning, Water Cloud House, central dining hall.
A dozen meter-long mahogany square table, lined with neatly arranged white cloth recliners on both sides. Floral water vases, dishes, and cutlery, delicious dishes full of color and aroma. The rich fragrance of oils wafted through the air.
All the attendants had left after setting the table.
In the entire dining hall, only the organization’s senior level leaders, all wearing black suits, sat side by side. Wearing gloves, they were solemn and serious.
The air was a bit stiff; they were waiting for the guests to arrive.
Five minutes later.
With a creak, the dining hall door was slowly pushed open.
Two figures clad in black robes entered from the outside, their bodies concealed by their wide robes. They both wore masks.
One gold and one silver, giving off a mysterious aura.
“Everyone has worked hard.”
The figure in the silver mask said upon entering, their voice hoarse and strangely mechanical, gender indistinguishable.
“After the battle in Fengnan City, we can say that the Sand Dust Organization is thoroughly destroyed! The fourth ranking Gun King, the third-ranking Knife Warrior, and the second-ranking Warhammer are all slain. More than a hundred elite gunners are either dead or captured. I heard that even the Bionic Army has been dealt with properly, well done. Starting today, the entire underground world of North Flow Country will entirely belong to us. We might even have a chance to expand beyond the borders…”
The figure with the golden mask began to speak, still in that mechanical tone.
However, you can hear the emotional fluctuation in it.
Obviously, defeating the Sand Dust Organization was also a cause for celebration for the two leaders of the Black Spade “A” Organization. It held great significance.
“Please, have a seat…”
The White Bird who was seated closest suddenly stood up and spoke.
“Alright.” The Big King and Little King replied in unison, and sat down successively.
Perhaps because they were a bit excited, they didn’t notice the change in the White Bird’s tone. They should have been addressed as two lords.
Not just ‘you two’.
As soon as they sat down, the man in the silver mask cast his gaze at the only person in the room that was not a part of the Black Spade “A” Organization. It was the backup he had called for, Ray, one of the five “A” class New Humans from the Mentalist Association.
“Mr. Ray, thank you for your help, for taking care of those damned Biochemical Humans for us. Without you, the outcome could have been uncertain…”
“The top assassins from the Sand Dust Organization were taken care of by you as well, right? I want to express my gratitude towards the Mentalists Association,”
“This is a toast to you.” Little King stood up, one hand gripping her mask, the other raising a wine glass, she took a direct swig.
The shine of her lush, bright red lips was fleeting.
She put down her wine glass, only to see that Mentalist Ray still hadn’t stood up. Instead, he blushingly avoided eye contact with the row of executives, and awkwardly smiled.
“Mentalists are indeed arrogant, these New Humans lack respect.” Little King was a bit angry, but didn’t flare up. After all, it was normal for someone with strength to be a bit arrogant, she heard that Ray was as arrogant as a Lone Wolf.
Underneath her mask, her gaze shifted slightly. Startlingly, Little King found that the dozen executives in front of her seemed somewhat different from before.
Hmm, how to put it? They looked stronger, larger.
Their Essence, Qi, and Spirit were extraordinarily bountiful, even the gentleman who often dozed off was shining with spirit, staring at the two of them.
The look in their eyes strangely unsettled her.
Her gaze swept hastily across, finally settling on a somewhat unfamiliar figure. It was a young blonde man of extraordinary appearance, arms folded across his chest, he looked over with a quasi-smiling expression.
“When did there start to be such a handsome man among the executives?”
Doubt instantly rose in Little King’s heart. Just based on appearances alone, he was charmingly attractive. After a moment of hesitation, given that everyone’s attention was still on her, she said,
“Who is the man on the far left?”
“Oh, that’s Lord Fengxiang.” White Bird chuckled as she spoke, a sense of admiration seeping from her tone that she herself didn’t detect.
“Fengxiang… Lord???” Little King repeated.
“Yes, Lord Fengxiang. Our Lord Fengxiang amongst all of us here, and soon to be your Lord Fengxiang as well…”
White Bird smiled faintly, possessing a mysteriously strange expression. Simultaneously, all of the executives present directed their eyes at them.
They stared at the Big King and Little King firmly, like a pack of wolves.
Their pupils held an indisguisable fanaticism.
The atmosphere suddenly solidified, as if transforming into sticky rubber, leaving one breathless. Their piercing stares felt like needles penetrating through their cloaks.
Everyone seemed as if their minds were possessed, their spirits were excessively ecstatic.
They seemed to get overly excited every time they mentioned Casio.
It was as if they were a group of zealots referring to the holy spirit.
“You…you all!!!”
The Big King and Little King sensed something was off in an instant. The two of them abruptly stood up from their seats. They were just about to edge away when they suddenly felt a treacherous burden on their shoulders as an invisible hand pressed down.
Little by little, the force embedded the two back into their original positions.
Little King looked over and astonishingly saw that Mentalist Ray had reached out a hand towards them, implying a vague crushing force. His face bore a cold expression. It seemed that if the Big King and Little King lacked sense in that moment, they would be crushed to death by his telekinesis in the next second.
“Alright, Ray, don’t be so crude. It wouldn’t be good to scare off our future comrades, reel it in,” said a deep, magnetic voice. The blonde man slowly rose from his seat.
“Yes,” responded Ray, humbly bowing his head in obedience. He didn’t look like an arrogant Lone Wolf at all, but more like a domesticated dog.
From his body to his heart, he had completely been tamed by his master.
“Tap tap tap…” A series of footsteps echoed around the dining table, arriving behind the seats of the Big King and Little King. Two hands caught hold of their cloaks, along with their masks, lightly pulling them. The radiant blond and silver hair immediately cascaded down, carrying a faint floral scent. Their seductive frames were revealed, their swan-like fragile white necks exposed.
“So it turns out, the Big King and Little King are actually a pair of sisters…”
