Chapter 475 - 475 Night of Harvest (4000)_2
Chapter 475: Night of Harvest (4000)_2 Chapter 475: Night of Harvest (4000)_2 A dozen seconds later, he stepped over the corpse and leisurely headed towards the hotel entrance. Rubbing his right hand, he scattered the greyish-white powder into the air like the ashes of a burned life.
Inside the Roman Hotel, on the hallway. Two men in black were on duty when they heard the sound of a door opening and turned their heads. Slap! Two fingers, like lightning, each pressed against the temples of the men, then slowly retracted to the side of his leg.
The men in black leaned against the wall left and right, their expressions frozen in that single moment. Continuously, from the position of their temples, red warm liquid slid down, even wetting the shoulders with some white.
A pair of hands held on their faces, a terrifying vibration circulated and accumulated between the two, marvelously endless.
Tap… tap…
Although the hotel hallway was carpeted with soft rugs, if someone had walked swiftly, it still made a faint noise.
Especially on a rather silent night, this movement was more pronounced. In the first half of the hall, behind the pale blue oak counter, a male and a female duty personnel looked towards the hallway.
A slightly lean figure in a trench coat was walking towards them.
“Ah, sir, you…”
The youth was about to speak, but seemed to have a terrifying illusion in front of him. He felt as if he was in a place full of thick scarlet fog. From the vortex, a ferocious giant raptor’s claws emerged, as heavy as a great mountain.
“Squawk!”
By the time the youth was jolted, his face was pale. The girl who was on duty with him had her entire head mysteriously vanished, as though it was grabbed away by that terrifying bird of prey.
With a peripheral glimpse of the grisly severed neck, just when the young man was about to scream, he felt a pain in his neck and passed out.
Casio silently absorbed the vibration of life energy, shook his head while looking at the oblivious young man. This kid probably didn’t even know he was working in a devil’s den…
To dark creatures, humans were like tasty pastries moving around, he was lucky to have survived this far.
Bumping into Casio who came to deal with the Blood Spirit Association was even more fortunate.
“This stronghold should at least contain immortals, I hope my trip isn’t in vain.” Casio murmured to himself as he moved forward.
His aura continuously radiated from his body, a keen sense like a locator detecting the aura of each member of the Blood Spirit Association. As long as they were in the Roman Hotel, there was no escape.
A few meters around Casio were distorted air currents, like a dark red moving sphere.
He paced forward, along the stairs, towards the second floor.
“Knock, knock, knock…”
A knocking sound rang outside the first room on the second floor.
In the room, two young men with fresh blood on their faces were feasting in a dark, blood-filled corner. On the bed, a girl with a severely broken body lay still, long since bereft of breath.
“You go answer the door, there might be something.”
Three seconds later, a young man opened the door.
A twisted humanoid figure, entirely shrouded in a hazy red cloud, stood still, only a pair of eyes floated in mid-air.
“You guys are eating, how coincidental, I also came to eat…”
The door slammed shut, from within could be heard the sound of slicing flesh and a viscous sound mixed with liquids.
Click!
At the end of the second floor, the last room door was carefully opened.
Casio walked out, sweeping his gaze down the entire corridor. All room doors were swung open, fresh blood dripped from the metal doorknobs. The air smelled so strongly of blood it was nauseating.
His face was unchanged as he walked towards the exit step by step. Halfway through, loosely kicked a head that fell on the ground. No one knew to which corner of the room it rolled to.
Minutes later, on the fourth floor, at the staircase.
Five or six members of the Blood Spirit Association stood there, faces showing madness as if facing a formidable enemy. They all held black submachine guns, their hearts taut to the extreme, and their breaths as heavy as they could be.
As if an old cow was panting heavily.
All the members of the Blood Spirit Association from the first to the third floor had just been exterminated. If someone hadn’t accidentally broken in, they wouldn’t know that a formidable enemy has attacked. Just the thought of how a single person silently massacred the entire Roman Hotel stronghold…
The gunners present couldn’t help but shudder with cold.
“Why aren’t they here yet? By their speed, the brothers on the third floor should have been killed by now.” One of the gunmen whispered.
“Is there another passage?” one of them asked.
“That’s all, there’s just two of them.”
“There are also five or six brothers guarding the other staircase.”
“What if…” was all the gunman could let out before being cut off.
From the other end of the hallway, a barrage of gunshots followed by a massive collision echoed. A second later, only a wretched shriek remained — a pain that seemed to permeate the soul.
“Huh huh, ahhhhhhh…”
“Damn it, the attack is on the other side!” Several gunmen shouted, about to rush over, when suddenly their vision blurred and the surrounding air turned into a red fog.
Thud.
A body with a pierced chest slumped to the floor, a death rattle emanating from its throat. Blood seeped from the hole, quickly soaking the carpet below and trickling step by step down the staircase. Drip, drip — until it finally reached a corner of the first-floor hall.
Casio cracked his neck and proceeded to the fifth floor.
…
“Die!”
Where the robed figure’s forearm had been severed, a crimson ax materialized, its sharp edge radiating an exaggerated curve.
On the left, another robed figure let out a roaring cry. Both his arms had been completely replaced by long spears, making him look vicious and terrifying.
For an instant, both attacked simultaneously. One from the left, one from the right, charging at the silhouette in the middle like lightning. Whoosh, a red flash appeared on the seventh floor of the Roman Hotel, radiating through the glass windows.
It all happened so fast; it felt like an illusion.
“Not bad, two more Immortal Level. More bountiful than I expected…” Casio murmured, releasing his right hand.
The robed figure, now stripped down to a skeleton by the Deathfang Power, fell stiffly to the ground, its osseous frame revealing a sickly grey color.
Clinging to it were traces of black blood and bits of coagulated flesh, eerily gleaming under the moonlight.
Casio opened the window and tossed out the skeletal remains of his left hand.
Then, he leapt straight down from the seventh floor.
His black trench coat billowed in the wind, fluttering like a cloud. Casio rolled once and touched down smoothly.
Right next to him, there was a car hidden in the shadows. After straightening his clothes, Casio opened the door and got in.
“You took ten minutes. It’s now 10:15.” Sheng Feinan, seated in the passenger seat, glanced at his pocket watch.
Meanwhile, Feng Liusi, in the driver’s seat, was reading a detective novel.
“Hmm,” Casio replied. He then used his vibration energy to scan his body, “There are quite a few people from the Blood Spirit Association at this base. Thirty Incorruptible Level ones and three Immortal Level ones. The harvest wasn’t too bad. What’s the next target?”
“Pentium Manor. It’s closest to the Roman Hotel and located in the suburbs, so it won’t draw any attention. We can attack it more effectively if we all go in together,” Feng Liusi unfolded a piece of paper that was moonlighting as a bookmark in his detective novel. On the paper was their next destination.
There are five of them in total, mainly located in the western and southern parts of the city.
At least half of the lower and middle ranking forces of the Blood Spirit Association are stationed in these five locations. As for their leadership, their whereabouts are uncertain. They could be gathered together, or they may be scattered.
Maybe this time, we’ll get lucky and run into one or two of them.
If we catch a fat sheep, it’s going to be a win.
Even if the leader of the Blood Spirit Association shows up, he’d have to run for his life against the combined force of Feng Liusi, Casio, and Sheng Feinan. Chances are, he’ll be left behind.
It’ll undoubtedly be a night of hunting, a night of reaping.
As for whether Casio will be able to break through to the Veteran Fighter realm before the great battle, or whether Feng Liusi will reach the Fifth Stage.
That all depends on how bountiful tonight turns out to be…
“Let’s go, full speed. Don’t give the Blood Spirit Association any time to react. I don’t want to let even one cooked duck get away,” Casio said, his eyes on the decreasing numbers in the upper right corner of his field of view.
