Chapter 472: 264 Full and satisfied, start killing tonight! (4400)_2 Chapter 472: 264 Full and satisfied, start killing tonight! (4400)_2 “What do you know? When I was young, I was actually a pretty boy known for miles around. Can’t I reminisce now? Unlike you, who wasn’t particularly handsome to begin with, even if you revert back to middle-age, there’s nothing impressive about your looks to be nostalgic about or to be vain over.”
Sheng Feinan casually delivered a zinger.
“Hey, interesting. That’s because I didn’t pay attention to my image… I mean…”
The two of them began to argue, each taking a turn.
In the backseat, Casio sat with his arms crossed, watching these two old men trash talk each other — one was 60, the other almost 70. They were as childish as six or seven-year-olds. Apparently, life-vibration energy can truly get to the heart of things, altering the human life field and subtly removing that waning demeanor of old age.
They were like old trees experiencing spring again, becoming lively and youthful in their attitudes.
And so, amidst the tumultuous noise, the Dream Machine car entered Kula City and headed towards the North City district.
As the second largest city in East Sea County, Kula City naturally has a aura of a metropolitan city and is economically prosperous.
The streets are quite wide and flat, with little garbage, showing that it’s regularly cleaned up. There were streetlights and trees lining the roads, and occasionally you could see brass-colored metal trash cans and black and white benches.
There were lots of shops on both sides of the street and quite a lot of people. Buildings were piled up like blocks, adding a sense of liveliness and hustle to the city. As it was night time, there was a smell of food in the air, such as a well-cooked meat and vegetable soup or the smell of malted bread.
Casio touched his straight nose and silently closed the window.
His body’s further evolution into the Secret Martial Art of Demon Idols had consumed a lot of his energy and, honestly, he was a bit hungry. But looking at the two people in front of him whose expressions had not changed, Casio gently rubbed his fingertips. As Fighters, once they are full, they can go a long time without eating. They eat on a schedule for two reasons; one is to always maintain their energy, and the other is to satisfy their appetites.
Feng Liusi and Sheng Feinan probably aren’t hungry, so he will just eat by himself. Casio suddenly spoke, “Tell me where we’re staying, I’ll go get something to eat. I will also take a stroll around the Tulip Antiques Exhibition Hall and check out the situation there.”
“Alright.” Feng Liusi nodded, gave the address, and then pulled over. Just as Casio was about to get out of the car, he suddenly heard two voices synchronously say, “Get me a portion too, the same as yours.”
He turned around and was taken aback to see Feng Liusi and Sheng Feinan looking at each other and then both turning their gazes to him. Casio could naturally not refuse, he just nodded somewhat strangely.
As he got out of the car, reality hit him. Right, the life-vibration energy enhancing the human life field does have a lingering effect. Once the body gets younger, it naturally needs more nutrition.
The two of them would also likely get hungry more easily than usual.
Plus, with their youthful mindsets, this trip seems more like an adventure to a foreign county. They probably also wanted to try some local delicacies.
Underneath the twilight sky on the verge of nightfall, the setting sun hung half in the sky, painting the dome of the sky red. Casio averted his gaze, looking at the crowded street. He pulled a pair of sunglasses out of his pocket and put them on.
Fifteen minutes later.
The people in line were wide-eyed, watching as the blonde youth at the front bought most of the food and put it into a huge food bag. He finally pulled out a large-denomination Federal Paper Money, and leisurely left. Looking at his slightly thin figure, it raised the question of whether he could finish all that food?
But then again, he might be buying for a whole family.
Next in line, a youth dressed like a student pulled his gaze away and ordered his favorite snack, “Boss, give me a portion of onion-fried pork leg meat, remember to put in a lot of sauce.”
“Sorry, we’re out of pork leg meat,” the boss honestly replied.
“What about vegetable squid rolls?”
“Out of those too.”
“What! What about fried fish and chips?”
“Ah, we have that, uh… sorry, there’s only half a portion left.”
“…”
Meanwhile, at the end of the street where the aroma of food was gradually dissipating.
A blond youth in a black hoodie was leisurely walking in the direction of the Flower Season Hotel, wearing sunglasses with an expression that never changed, giving off an air of exclusivity.
After turning two corners, the road in front of him was noticeably broader. It was obviously the main road of this city. The layout of the street lights, roadside trees, and so on became more orderly, giving an overall clean feel.
Not far away, a squat but wide rectangular building appeared. It was warm-colored and resembled a flat, giant mushroom. There weren’t many corners, and the outer appearance was very smooth.
It seemed to have many designs, like floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
A noticeably large sign at the top of the building read, ‘Tulip Antiques Exhibition.’ Below the letters was a horizontal tulip flower that connected all the characters together.
In front of the exhibition hall was a huge elliptical grey-white plaza with all the typical elements of a plaza — fountain, sculpture, flower garden, and chairs. The white ceramic tiles were slightly reddish under the sunlight.
Half of the plaza was open, while the other half was blocked off with caution tape-like strips. There were police officers in blue uniforms patrolling around, and some cold-tempered people in black hiding in the corners. In the unopened area, there was a moderate open-air parking lot with rows of exquisite and unique luxury cars parked.
Behind his sunglasses, Casio’s eyes were constantly moving, seeming to be scanning each hidden corner and shadow along the alleyways.
