Chapter 321 - 321 The Feeling of Power That Returns (5600) _3
Chapter 321: The Feeling of Power That Returns (5600) _3 Chapter 321: The Feeling of Power That Returns (5600) _3 Illusion?
Upon careful sensing, it’s not.
The bone really did break! It was the right leg bone.
Creak!
Another crisp sound.
Casio lets out a muffled grunt, a bead of sweat drips from his forehead.
This time it’s the left leg, the leg bone is cracked.
Then, like it was prearranged.
Cracking sounds started erupting from his bones all over his body.
The cracks spread like a spider web across his skeleton, from his leg bone up to his arm, an endless surge of severe pain spreading in an instant.
Casio’s heavy breath was becoming heavier, under the onslaught of extreme pain his heart pounded like a drum. The only sound within the secluded secret room was his heavy panting, like a water buffalo. Bone Eating Water was painful, but Casio could still endure.
This was thanks to the continuous stimulation of the training potions.
Which made his tolerance to pain formidable.
The extreme pain brought on by the Bone Eating Water was beyond anything before, but the pain came and went quickly. In just about ten minutes, Casio felt the pain throughout his body noticeably diminish.
After twenty minutes, it returned to the initial level.
After thirty minutes, the effects of the potion completely wore off.
He was about to stand up, but suddenly his head felt dizzy.
The mental side effects of using the Forbidden Technique had kicked in.
Casio forcefully endured for five minutes, shaking his head to stand up.
Dust showered off his body like rain.
He raised his hand and gently swept away the sand on his chest.
However, his palm felt the uneven muscles, they weren’t thin ribs but full blocks of meat.
Looking down, his pectoral muscles were now visible.
Below that, six abdominal muscles were evenly arranged on both sides.
Not only that, Casio surveyed his body. He had grown at least two sizes larger than before, his toned muscles protruded where they should, their lines sharp and distinct.
This was the healthy physique a fist-artist should have.
If the previous Li Wei was a stray cat with protruding bones, Casio now can at least be considered a cheetah.
Inside the secret room, he slowly stretched out his powerful hand.
A strong grip, a familiar sensation of strength surged into his palm muscles, the streamlined contour sprung like rebar.
Casio grinned, his bare teeth reflected in the light. He spread his arms out sideways, suddenly his whole body’s muscular contours released a touch of black, flexing with a hard burst.
Ssss…
Raise his tall body like a bent bow, Casio took a ferocious breath, chest swelled up like a balloon. The air twirled around his nose and mouth like three or four white wires.
This inhalation seemed to be endless.
It lasted a full half minute.
Casio’s shape also rose inch by inch, the muscles exaggeratedly bulged out more than usual, like a tall barrier.
It was a bit thin, but barriers can always grow thicker.
He casually waved his arms, the bulging muscles on his both arms are extraordinarily fierce, there was a certain sense of power in the light sway.
A few minutes passed.
There was a dull sound.
He couldn’t suppress the power in his body, circles of Air Waves sprayed out from his pores, it swirled like a gale.
Muffled roars echoed through the secret room.
Shortly after, Casio’s body gradually shrank like it was letting out air, finally returning to a normal toned muscular physique.
He raised his head and glanced at the status bar in the upper right corner.
“Wind Elephant Fist: Elephant Herd 76.6% (Three layers in total)”→
“Wind Elephant Fist: Elephant Herd 78.5% (Three layers in total)”“Elephant Soul Secret Technique: Wormbite 36.5% (Three layers in total)”→ “Elephant Soul Secret Technique: Wormbite 61.8% (Three layers in total)”
Directly increased the training volume by twenty-five percent.
Bone Eating Water is indeed a precious potion from the pinnacle of Golden Rock Fist.
One can equate to two doses of secret medicine from the Ringing Water Road.
In an instant, Casio had reduced the gap to complete 66.7% of the Bug Bite Episode Major Accomplishment realm to only 5%. This 5% might take him a few years of cultivation on his own, but it had saved him a lot of time. The Bone Eating Water’s effect had exceeded his imagination.
He had originally thought that the increase would probably be between fifteen to twenty percent, but it had reached twenty-five percent.
Casio twisted his neck, and all the fatigue dragged down by his weak body had vanished in an instance, and the long-lost sense of strength reappeared.
“It’s been a half-month of being treated that way, it’s time for me to get a refund,” he picked up the wooden barrel and slowly headed for the front door.
June 8th, sunny weather, seven o’ clock in the morning.
White fog blanketed parts of Northern Flow City’s blocks. Pedestrians appeared and disappeared on the sidewalks, while cars traveled with their headlights turned on.
A man in a black trench coat emerged from a single house on the side street, walking out emotionlessly through the wooden gate.
Not far away, at the corner of the main road and an alley. A man in a suit was wearing a black wide-brimmed hat and held a briefcase, looking at his watch from time to time as though he was waiting for someone.
While scanning the alley, he seemed to casually glance at the trench-coated man approaching but then quickly lowered his head again.
The wide-brimmed hat covered most of his face, obscuring his features.
Click, click, click …
In the faint fog, the footsteps gradually drew nearer.
Until at a certain point, they suddenly stopped.
The middle-aged man put down his right hand from checking the handwatch and saw a pair of black boots in his lower right vision. Instantly, a whip-like leg, as fierce as a black python sprang towards him, filling his field of view.
A minute later, footsteps echoed in the alley.
Casio brushed off his black hat and adjusted the front and back ends before gently placing it on his head.
His footsteps changed direction, and he went straight down the sidewalk.
Five minutes later, at a corner at a crossroad.
A young boy in brown overalls was shouting here, he had a beret with stripes and carried a box like a backpack on his back, filled with printed newspapers.
“North Flow Country morning news, freshly printed North Flow County morning news!”
“One dollar per copy, only one dollar per copy!”
A man in a trench coat was approaching from the left street.
“Give me one.”
“Alright,” The boy reached behind him.
“Let me help you. It’s not very convenient for you.” The trench-coated man’s voice was low, immediately followed by his hand resting on the boy’s nape.
The boy’s body shivered, his head raised up stiffly.
Confronting him was a face as cold as steel.
At seven-thirty in the morning, on Jenny Street, Casio briefly reviewed the newspaper’s contents before tossing it into the trash can.
He slowly turned his head, feeling at least three or four discreet gazes projected towards him. The corner of his mouth curled up just a smidgen.
Shadow Organization, a bunch of mice in the sewer. Since they chose to be pawns, they should be ready to be cleared away…
*********************
June 9th, six o’ clock in the afternoon, at dusk.
The sunset in the horizon was tinged with red, streaks of rays spread from the sky across the city. The pointed and domed tiles of various buildings reflected the golden red light, dazzling at a glance.
The vast red cloud layer looked just like an ocean.
In the suburbs of Northern Flow City, near the train station on an open space.
Two tall men dressed peculiarly walked step by step out of the woods, their eyes locked onto the metal train parked at the train station. One of them with thick eyebrows turned to the other and said, “Wolf, these human beings created such a thing.”
“I can’t feel any totem aura or supernatural sense on it. It is just a long horse carriage built from metal.”
The taller one pulled out a palm-sized stone from his bosom and began pinpointing something while saying, “Don’t concern yourself with these things, we must catch the traitor and bring him back!”
“As a sacrifice for the great Totem King…”
As soon as his voice trailed off, a figure approached from afar.
The figure was entirely dressed in black, with a hat that covered his entire face. He wore black gloves, and black boots.
HIs only exposed feature was a chin as pale as to appear bloodless.
“Lord Wolf, Lord Owl. Earl Andrew asked me to send regards to you two. My name is Robert; I am the leader of this operation of the Shadow Organization.” The man in the suit executed a simple ritualistic greeting.
He slightly raised his head, revealing sharp teeth that indicated his identity.
“Robert, huh? How’s the situation here? My totem stone can sense that he is still within the range of this city.”
The wolf tucked the stone back into his bosom.
“Everything is well. My men are monitoring him all over the city. He cannot escape from our palms.” the man replied.
