The woman advanced a step.
The silent man in sunglasses stepped out. He was clearly the leader of the three. The tank-topped woman halted.
“Max is the heir to the Kanon Corporation—a subordinate organization to the Black Spade. Why did you get involved in our feud with the Black Spade?” The man in sunglasses seemed to enjoy giving a seemingly reasonable speech before fighting.
“Sorry, it’s not that I chose to get involved, but you dragged me into this.” Casio’s expression was unchanged, “Your assassins seemed to want to kill me too on that Riverside Road, hence I had to defend myself.”
He spread his hands out, continued, “I believe you owe me an apology for involving an innocent person…”
“After all, it was a real bummer to be attacked by a bunch of gun-toting jerks while enjoying a peaceful car ride.”
“Hehehe…” The tank-topped woman couldn’t help but laugh sarcastically, “You’ve killed people from our Sand Dust Organization, and you still dare demand an apology from us?”
“Really ignorant and overconfident!”
“I think it’s you who are blindly arrogant.”
Next to Casio, the Magician Bass wore a cold smile.
He had witnessed Casio’s terrible destructive power in the Anta Mountains. A new human of the same strength as him was blasted away. A nearly one-tonne heavy equipment of metal was thrown, collapsing a three-story building.
Bass admired the strong and despised the ignorantly weak.
Clearly, in his eyes, these three arrogant humans fit into the category of ignorant and arrogant weaklings.
“Hehe…
The expressionless man in sunglasses began laughing.
He surprisingly began introducing himself politely.
“Let me introduce myself, the one about to kill you is the number 15 of the Sand Dust Organization, nicknamed Poisonous Snake, and also, the one before you…”
“Me!”
Suddenly, a shadow flashed past Casio at lightning speed, then swiftly returned to its original position.
“You’re not cautious enough, my blade is coated with severe poison. It’s from the Cirogu snake in the rainforest of Yan United. It’s an instant killer. A slight cut can kill a man within half a minute.”
The man threw the dagger in his hand around, it was terrifying to see every catch was on the handle, making people worry he might grip it wrong and die instantly.
He turned his head towards Casio. Casio had no look of panic, and opened his coat to reveal a pair of swan-white velvety gloves. The man’s eyes narrowed at the familiar sight, noticing the black symbol on the back of the gloves—the unmistakable square “J” that represents authority.
“Square J? High ranking in the Black Spade assassination department? Wasn’t he recently killed by our Sand Dust Organization? How come there’s another one?” The man in sunglasses frowned, “But even if you are square J, what does it matter? Once you’re poisoned by the Cirogu snake, you’re dead!”
“Sorry, but even the deadliest poison has to penetrate first. If it can’t even get through my skin, how’s it going to work?” Casio said calmly. He then showed a small cut on his rock-white muscles, a black mark. A metallic poker card poked there and scraped it off.
The black mark was gone, all that was left was glossy skin.
“Impossible! My knife can cut through thin steel plates, so how can it fail to cut through human skin?”
The man in sunglasses was shocked. He faltered and almost cut himself with his own poisoned knife.
“Although it felt slow to me, you were much faster than an average human. Even… further beyond human limits in speed. Interesting, did the Sand Dust Organization bestow some special techniques or powers on you?”
Casio started to undress. He wanted to test the strength of these people in front of him. The man claimed to be the number 15 of the Sand Dust Organization and seemingly displayed powers that exceeded those of an ordinary human.
“Haha, the organization’s power is beyond your imagination!” The man in a trench coat clapped, “Come out, and kill him directly!”
Suddenly, seven or eight figures darted out from the bushes on both sides.
They were dressed exactly the same as the Sand Dust Organizational personnel that Casio had encountered earlier—all robust men.
Four or five of them held sharp daggers, two took out black handguns from their waists, which glittered in the sunlight.
“You have thick skin, right? Let’s see if you can withstand bullets! Kill him!” The man in a trench coat motioned to the gunners pointing at Casio.
“Bass, hold my clothes for me. Your morning reading ability is depleted, don’t use it for now, stay further behind.”
Casio pulled Bass behind him.
The next moment, several rounds of bullets whizzed through the air toward him, leaving trails in the air.
Thump!
Casio took a sudden step forward, the ground shook. In an instant, he charged towards the group from the Sand Dust Organization like an arrow shot from a bowstring—even in the face of oncoming bullets.
These handgun bullets were not threatening at all for him. He could take them head-on since his second blood acceleration phase where they barely broke the skin. Now he was already undergoing the third phase of blood acceleration, and cas hardened his muscles.
