Chapter 263: 174 I really like you (4200)_1 Chapter 263: 174 I really like you (4200)_1 Aargh!
A low roar came from Number Four throat. His footsteps heavily trod on the ground, each step leaving a deep pit.
He charged through the flying cement splinters, his massive body rushing forth.
The gigantic battle axe in his hand swung with tremendous force, its sharp and exaggerated blade seemingly cleaving the air apart.
The dense fog parted down its edges as it followed the axe.
“Impressive momentum… but you’re too slow…” Soro, still standing in his denim pants as if Number Four wasn’t even on his radar. He just quietly watched the fortress-like massive figure rushing over. His eyes suddenly changed to silver as if spewing white light at a certain moment.
“Telekinetic Speed Engine!”
Soro’s gun-holding right hand blurred.
“Telekinetic Shock Bullet!”
“Telekinetic Piercing Bullet!”
“Telekinetic Explosion Bullet!”
“Telekinetic Rotation Bullet!”
“…”
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!
All the gunshots merged together, as if Soro only fired one shot. But in fact, six bullets hit Number Four’s robust body simultaneously, causing a massive explosion.
Thump, thump, thump!
Number Four retreated hastily, each step making a giant crack on the cement ground. He grunted and a streak of blood overflowed from his ferocious mouth. In that moment, six types of bullet effects exploded all at once, channeling a violent firepower onto Number Four’s powerful physique.
Furthermore, each bullet hit a different location.
Every hit on Number Four was to maximize each bullet’s effects. For instance, the Shock Bullet hit the knee attempting to disrupt balance, the Explosion Bullet aimed at the hand holding the weapon trying to disarm him, and the Piercing Bullet aimed at the throat, a fatal weak spot for most creatures.
If it wasn’t for Number Four’s robust physique from the rich beast blood within him after transforming into a beast man, Soro’s goals would probably all be achieved, leaving Number Four with more than just light injuries.
“Being able to take all of my six bullets at once, you should be quite proud.” Soro’s eyes returned to their normal state, he said lightly.
The golden gun body in his hand turned back to silver, and the luminous feather-like pattern at the original gun barrel also dimmed down.
With a shake of his finger, the bullet case snapped open with a click.
And it snapped shut again in an instant.
Soro completed the ammo change at a speed invisible to the naked eye.
“Heh heh, you indeed have some skills. However, you’re stuck with three slowpokes, whereas my team has already surrounded you.”
Number Four burrowed the battle axe into the ground, extended his purplish large hand and casually picked off a bullet shrapnel from his chest.
Behind him, fog surged, and instantly, more than ten black silhouettes appeared on the cement road. A tense atmosphere gradually spread as a number of rigid and fierce faces looked towards Soro.

“Goddamn it, just let me die already!”The Magician screamed internally, feeling as if he was on the verge of collapse. He was like char being roasted in a giant furnace, his sweat soaking his clothes through.
There were too many… too many Steam Demon Puppets!
He had lost count of how many Steam Demon Puppets he had encountered. It was like sticking his hand into a beehive. Puppets kept spawning at his sides, then they would charge at him with clear intentions.
The Magician had almost squeezed his telekinetic ability to its limit; if the energy in his mind were likened to a stream, that stream was now dried up. But whether it was because of his intense will to survive, the Magician was still able to squeeze out a bit of telekinetic energy for emergencies on several dangerous occasions. He found it absolutely miraculous.
He even had a vague feeling that his telekinetic power was improving amidst the terrifying danger of walking a tightrope between life and death. He was on the verge of breaking past his bottleneck.
But, given the choice, he would rather not have such an improvement in telekinetic power. He simply wished to survive steadily.
“Phew…”
A patch of cold fog appeared not too far away, and a Steam Demon Puppet walked out from within it. The red light in its eyes was like a spotlight.
“Not again!” The Magician screamed and started running once more.
He staggered out of the forest onto the flat cement road, then kept running towards the villa without stopping.
Behind him, a Steam Demon Puppet was knocked in half by a blunt figure that charged ahead, and stones splashed down like rain.
Casio stopped in a clearing in the trees. He looked left and right; two patches of grey-black fog were gradually forming on both sides.
It was no surprise that there would be Steam Demon Puppets within them.
The entire Anta Mountain range seemed to have undergone some change. These low-grade replicas of the Decayed Knights kept appearing, their number alarmingly high. He had destroyed at least twenty-plus puppets on his journey.
If one were to look down from the sky onto the entire Anta Mountain range, the concentration of Steam Demon Puppets wasn’t actually that high. They were spawning within the range of two parallel lines, winding about. And these lines just happened to coincide with the direction that the Magician, Casio, and the others were heading.
In other words, the Steam Demon Puppets were being attracted to their aura.
To be more precise, the Steam Demon Puppets were being attracted by the essence of Casio’s life. If it were only the Magician and Catwoman, they would only attract one or two Puppets at most.
How could there possibly be thirty to forty of them like now?
Casio thought that the Steam Demon Puppets were a widespread phenomenon, but he was the real culprit. If the Magician knew that, he would definitely be grateful — breaking through his telekinetic bottleneck time after time amidst life and death, what a dramatic and heroic scenario!
