Casio had never heard of the Secret Martial Art School by this name, but since Shire County was in the northern part of the Hong Li Federation, this Three-eyed Mad Lion Style must be a northern school too. His previous two retrospections were all in the southeast of the Federation, so he wasn’t familiar with the martial arts of the north.
“Well, I didn’t expect this trip to Shire County would offer such a pleasant surprise. Judging by your looks, you must be around thirty years old, a few years younger than me. With your strength, you are strong enough to rank among the top three of the younger generation in the northern Secret Martial Arts Circle… Is the Wind Elephant Gate a reclusive school based in both Jinghu and Ming Mountain cities? I’ve never heard of it…” said the blond man named Duomeng.
“Wind Elephant Gate is not part of the northern martial arts school…” Casio seemed to be reminded of some unpleasant memories, “I am the fifteenth disciple of Wind Elephant Gate, and the last one alive…”
His eyelids drooped slightly, “You asked a wrong question. That upset me. Prepare for a beating…”
“What?”
Duomeng was taken aback. He knew that he had asked the wrong question, but he was clearly unaware, why would Casio be upset…
“Hiss!”
Like a snake sticking out its tongue, Casio’s body arched violently backward, a faint stream of air spinning around his mouth and nose. He stared at Duomeng and grinned, showing a row of neatly arranged white teeth, somehow looking menacing.
Crack, crack, crack… His muscles and bones seemed to be shaking violently.
Casio’s muscles bulged dramatically, and he grew several sizes larger in the blink of an eye. His upper body garment had burst open and turned into rags. He had grown to well over two meters high and looked like a rock-white giant. Huge, jumping veins squirmed beneath his muscles of steel, through which the hot, sticky red blood could even be seen.
“Damn it…”
Caught in Duomeng’s shocked gaze, Casio raised his head. His red pupils, like miniature spotlights, flickered with a hint of brutality.
“I realize you only asked that question unintentionally, but I’m still upset. In order to soothe my wounded little heart, you have to take a punch from me. Once you’ve taken it, we’ll just forget your earlier question.” a voice came.
Duomeng looked down and saw Casio’s huge arm hanging by his side like a siege hammer. Underneath the rock-like muscles were worms thick blood vessels, like gently trembling branches.
The width of this arm wasn’t much different from the tree next to it.
No doubt, a punch from such a fist could easily kill…
Noticing Duomeng’s gaze, the arm near Casio’s waist seemed to hide itself a bit behind his torso, as if trying to downplay the threat. But its imposing diameter couldn’t be hidden!
Casio realized that too, and promptly let his arm come out into the open. He clenched his fist and held it in front of his chest, “I’m a straightforward person who doesn’t like to hide things. Right now, I just want to punch someone. My hand might be a little big, so bear with it.”
Bang!
The muscles in Casio’s back leg compressed and expanded, providing a sudden blast of forward strength. He shot forward like a cannonball, leaving deep pits in the ground where his feet had been.
The furious fist compressed the air, just like a long spear piercing through it.
Bang!
The fist hit a large tree, causing a splash of yellow and white wood chips, as if water. With a crack, the big tree nearly thick as an adult’s body was brutally broken and embedded into the ground.
Meanwhile, Duomeng swiftly dodged that punch.
His brows furrowed as he felt the overwhelming power in that punch. Being hit by it would surely cause severe injury, if not death.
“The strength of this guy called Casio…is more than I expected…”
Hum.
A quick hand knife, wrapped in white steam and threatening like a blade, slashed towards him. Duomeng made a swift move to avoid it. A big tree behind him got the brunt of it, half of its trunk was cut down by the hand knife, making the tree body quiver and almost tumble down.
“Why did you dodge? I can tell that your path also resonates with noble virtue. Are you afraid to take my punch?” The voice floated over.
Unable to retort, Duomeng didn’t respond. His feet tapped quickly on the ground, and he darted in the opposite direction at top speed.
This guy was too belligerent, and seemed to be mad.
It wasn’t right to stay here for long.
Stepping briskly on the ground, Duomeng shot into the darkness like an arrow. A wildly furious figure was in hot pursuit behind him, each step resounding with a loud noise.
“Boom!”
The fist, wrapped in a white air stream, chased after him again.
“Are you fucking insane?!”
Duomeng roared out and swiftly crouched down to dodge. Then he quickly spun around, whipping his leg around like a rebar.
Boom! His lower leg collided with an elbow in midair.
The trousers exploded open, their clashing muscles rippled outwards like waves.
“Stop bothering me, I didn’t see anything just now, and I didn’t ask you anything. I have things to do and no time to accompany you in your madness.”
Saying this, Duomeng fought back, his fists, palms, and feet flying at Casio. He kept warding off Casio’s overwhelming attacks, with a kind of special skill and rhythm. His combat style strangely seemed to mesh well with Casio’s.
“What kind of move is this?”
The more Casio fought, the more excited he became. Duomeng seemed to have an exceptional intuition and could spot the blind spots in his opponent’s attacks. He could break down an opponent’s attack just as the force was taking shape.
“If I tell you, will you leave me alone?” Duomeng, feeling a headache coming on, countered a punch from Casio with a quick palm strike.
“Alright!”
With a hearty agreement, Casio thrust his body, his arm swinging, leaving a white arc in the air.
“Whack!”
Duomeng twisted his body, almost instinctively lifting his arm, smashing Casio’s fast-moving fist. A violent force dispersed the power of Casio’s punch. If it weren’t for the stone armor and hard qigong that Casio practiced, an average martial artist’s fist could have been broken.
Casio’s wrist hits Duomeng’s fist at a high speed.
This was essentially the enemy hitting himself with his own power.
“This technique is called Mind’s Eye. Simply put, it’s known as the Third Eye. Its function is to temporarily enhance dynamic vision, reaction speed, and even some instinctive abilities I can’t really explain,”
Duomeng explained while taking a step, dodging Casio’s interception, and delivering a punch on his solid chest. With a thunderous sound, he withdrew due to the reaction force, pivoted his foot, and rushed forward.
After several ups and downs, he disappeared into the shadows.
Casio, who took a step back, picked up a large chunk of mud with his boots. He touched his chest; there were no injuries, but he felt a tingling sensation, and a slight stagnation of his vital energy. It seemed like some sort of unique way of exerting strength.
Casio shook off the mud from his boots. Gazing into the dark scene within the dense forest, he murmured to himself, “Mind’s Eye… This is probably where the Third Eye in Three-eyed Mad Lion Style came from. A powerful secret technique…”
Through the previous series of clashes, he could feel that the structure of opponent’s secret martial arts seemed to be more complete than that of the Wind Elephant style.
Although their styles were vastly different, Duomeng’s secret martial arts were generally a notch above the Wind Elephant style that Casio practiced. It could be a second-tier martial art or even a first-tier one, but Casio couldn’t tell.
He stood there, lost in his thoughts for a moment.
Actually, Casio was not being reckless just now. He was merely trying to bring out the true strength of Duomeng. He hadn’t encountered a strong martial artist in a while, and he was itching for a fight after the brief collision.
Actually, both of them had restrained their strength during the fight. Duomeng could sense that Casio had no killing intent. It was a friendly match within certain limits. Since it was a friendly match, both of them had to suppress their strength so as not to turn it into a life-and-death fight.
When two masters of secret martial arts collide at full strength, it’s not easy to stop.
Casio had at least restrained half of his strength, and Duomeng probably did the same. Though he couldn’t judge whether Duomeng was a master of boxing, he was at least in the second stage of accelerated blood flow.
The Three-eyed Mad Lion Style behind Duomeng must be formidable…
Casio had a bit of interest in Duomeng’s Mind’s Eye secret technique. However, considering the martial school behind Duomeng, he decided to take a longer view of this idea. Casiowas actually curious about what sparks might fly if Duomeng’s Balance Destruction technique met his Mind’s Eye Secret Technique. The combination of the two might result in a deadly punch.
Casio was a little eager in his heart, but he tried to suppress his feelings.
He looked at the rags on his body, slightly regretful that he did not bring his cloak. He casually tore off the rags.
Much of his trousers were torn, only shreds of black cloth remained by the knee.
“A fight costs me an outfit each time, which is quite expensive…”
Casio murmured, then turned around and started walking. His tall and sturdy silhouette faded into the darkness.
Hundreds of meters away, on an uneven open space.
The area was in a mess with traces of a violent battle everywhere. Trees were broken and collapsed, the ground was full of footprints and pits, and a large amount of wood chips were scattered on the surface of the soil.
Next to a tree trunk.
Jian’s face was as pale as a sheet, his lips were turning purple.
He was struggling to get up, but he just couldn’t do it, leaving two trails of struggle in the soil. Blood was seeping into the soil, leaving Jian feeling weak. It took all his strength just to move slightly, anything more would drain him completely.
As time passed, Jian’s problem was no longer just about getting free but rather his survival was at stake.
“Help… Help…”
Jian kept shouting for help in the forest, but no one answered him.
He grew more and more desperate, his eyelids getting heavier and heavier.
Just as Jian was about to pass out, he suddenly heard a dull sound of footsteps approaching. He weakly raised his head and saw a tall silhouette appear about three meters away. He murmured,
“Help… help me. I…I need blood…blood…”
The next second, a huge shadow enveloped Jian.
“Blood, blood!”
His eyes lit up. His head was lifted in a begging manner, like a puppy wanting to please. Jian opened his mouth, his tongue crazily salivating and sticking out.
“Blood? I can give you blood,” Casio lowered his head.
“But, can you chew it?”
Even without putting up any guard, his whole body covered with the Stone Armor skill was as strong and robust as an armor.
“I can chew… I can! Let me try…mmm!”
Jian’s eyes widened as he felt a finger being thrust into his mouth. A sweet metallic taste spread from the broken skin.
