Chapter 1008 - 1008 514 Five Supreme Rings (4000)_2
Chapter 1008: 514 Five Supreme Rings (4000)_2 Chapter 1008: 514 Five Supreme Rings (4000)_2 With the home turf advantage and the gap in information provided by the Mother Tree,
even if three mighty Forces attacked, they weren’t invincible!
Thinking so, the elder’s heart immediately settled down.
He looked at the leader Bing Ling, about to speak.
But saw Bing Ling close his eyes, obviously receiving more information from the Mother Tree. And this time, the transmission was even longer than before.
Five minutes later, Bing Ling reopened his eyes and suddenly looked up.
The Ripple Master elder also looked up inquisitively.
Above them, within the dense branches of the Sky-reaching Mother Tree, three radiant Rings hovered like tiny Suns. And beside these three Rings, another was about to be born.
“Another Supreme Ring!!!”
Around them, the gathered Ripple masters had obviously also noticed the abnormality. They excitedly pointed towards the Tree Crown, their faces filled with shock.
On the trunk and roots of the Mother Tree, Bing Ling took a deep breath, the Mother Tree’s instructions echoing in his mind: At all costs, kill these invaders! And take back something from them! A small Bone Tree, small enough to be held in one hand, remember not to damage it!
Ten minutes later, under the Sky-reaching Mother Tree.
The many Ripple masters were all shocked as they looked toward the sky, no, towards the green dome-like Tree Crown of the Mother Tree. There, Rings kept being generated, Bone Rings that normally took decades to grow were now forming in just two or three breaths. And not the lowest tier white Rings, but Bloodthirsty Rings!
Bloodthirsty Rings, a level above the white Rings, differed mainly in the varying amount of Red Silk patterns on the band.
Above the Bloodthirsty Rings were the half-attribute Ripple Rings.
Like the one the Ripple Master Galen had used, half white and half red.
Whoosh, a gust of wind swept through the high altitude, and leaves rustled.
Rings fell directly from the branches, like ripe fruit. Their landing points were incredibly precise, falling right to those elite Ripple masters who originally used the white Ripple Rings. And dozens of half-attribute Ripple Rings also fell, seeking out those original Bloodthirsty Ripple Masters.
Each Ripple master quickly caught them and excitedly swapped them on. Feeling the stronger Ripple vibrations from their palms, they were all thrilled.
In a short time, they had all ‘changed weapons,’ and their overall strength had sharply increased by a large margin. Moreover, four Silhouettes stood on the Mother Tree’s trunk and roots about four to five meters above the ground, their right hands hanging down, four Supreme Rings flickering with eerie light. Around them, the air seemed to twist subtly.
Bing Ling moved his Footsteps, standing on the most prominent edge of the Tree Root.
He looked down from above at the multitude of black Silhouettes below.
“Starting now, all units move out to exterminate every single invader entering the Immortal Islands! Not one shall be spared! Move out now!”
Tap tap tap… tap tap tap…
Silhouettes swiftly turned, shooting towards the Dense Fog in the distance like arrows released from their bowstrings. They were about to engage in full-scale Combat with their opponents!
Time passed, minute by minute, on the Main Island of the Immortals, and the outer islands.
The Secret Martial Arts World’s group had been treking through the Dense Fog for quite some time.
They had experienced many strange regions on Immortal Island. In some places, purple poison rain fell, corroding everything around it clean, except for a type of vibrant beautiful red plant that thrived. It was only upon closer observation that they discovered this poison rain was actually emitted by the red plants as toxins which condensed mid-air and only enshrouded a small area nearby.
In other places, the ground was covered with crystalline structures that resembled diamonds, looking like bunches of transparent flowers. Beautiful when illuminated by the Sun. However, if you accidentally touched or stepped on these crystals, they would immediately explode, triggering a series of chain-reaction blasts around them!
The power of the explosion was terrifying, almost setting the edge of Casio’s clothes ablaze!
Do not think this is just a joke, being able to singe an edge of Casio’s clothing was in fact a form of recognition! With his Ultimate Fighter strength, even top-tier Combatants might not even be able to touch the hem of Casio’s clothes, let alone damage them. Therefore, these crystal blasts were quite dangerous to the many Fighters of the Secret Martial Arts World, and they must be cautious and careful.
Beyond these two special regions, the scene now presenting itself before everyone was also a dangerous one. Casio stood on the edge and looked out.
Not far away, there was a towering volcano, alive. You could see the flowing magma, like ribbons of glowing red silk, winding their way down from the edges of the crater.
At the Mountain Foot of the volcano, chunks of coal-like rock spread across the earth. Gray with black undertones, the rocks had an odd and rugged appearance.
Strange trees grew out of the crevices in the rocks, without even so much as pine-needle-like leaves, just twisted branches that resembled human bone claws. The branches were covered in small holes from which wisps of white smoke continuously emerged and floated up into the sky, merging with the dense Fog above.
Drip, drip, drip…
As the sound of footsteps arose, the people from the Secret Martial Arts World walked over.
However, as they approached, some of the Fighters in the front showed signs of discomfort. They frowned slightly, and their bodies instinctively emitted a sense of alertness, with hairs standing on end. Casio also felt something was amiss. As he approached one of the large trees and positioned himself within the dense smoke emanating from a tree hollow,
he suddenly felt his enveloping Qi being attacked by a relentless prickling sensation. No, it couldn’t be called an attack, but rather an invasion. Something in the Fog was burrowing into his Qi.
Casio suddenly retreated in a flash as a dense Fog burst violently from the hollow of the tree in front, spilling onto the ground.
After a moment’s consideration, he chose to withdraw the Qi from his palm.
After feeling it for a short while, Casio already had some guesses.
The white Fog contained extremely fine plant spores, almost imperceptible. However, the various organisms exposed to the dense Fog were invaded and parasitized by these spores! Just like the Devil Fish Casio had encountered before, whose entire nervous system was nearly replaced and controlled entirely by the plant’s root system.
They became guardians of Immortal Island, creatures protecting the island.
Casio looked profoundly into the sky, realizing that it seemed the entire Immortal Island was shrouded in this kind of Fog. Did that mean that all the creatures on the island were already under the control of that unseen Ultimate Dark Entity? After all, some marine fish near Immortal Island had already suffered, and the animals on land exposed directly to the Fog were even less able to escape its grasp. Stretching nearly a hundred kilometers from north to south, Immortal Island had vast spaces and terrains. Had they all fallen already?
Is this the ultimate power of the Ultimate Dark Entity?!
Or perhaps it’s the Ultimate Dark Entity with an obvious problem with its state?!
Turning around abruptly, Casio addressed the crowd from the Secret Martial Arts World, “There are parasitic spores in the air; we must maintain our Qi as a protective layer at all times. Unless absolutely necessary, do not retract your Qi back into your body…”
Fortunately, shortly after arriving on the island, everyone had maintained their Qi state while traveling. And previously on the sea, it was clear that the spores in the Fog were significantly diluted, not as dense as on land. The Qi that enveloped the Fighters’ entire bodies could naturally repel these invaders. As long as the spores in the air did not reach a certain concentration, it would be difficult to parasitize the people.
“Rest on the spot for a moment, and sweep through your body with your Qi…”
Casio reminded everyone.
Ten minutes later, the Fighters from the Secret Martial Arts World took a short rest and began to regroup. They planned to find a detour, not to force their way through the woods that emitted parasitic Spore Fog. The spore concentration inside the woods would only be denser and might reach a level that Qi could not block. It seemed that the crater of the volcano, despite appearing more dangerous, was a more suitable path to take.
As long as the volcano did not erupt, they would not face additional dangers.
