I Can Program My Body? -
Chapter 132: Eastdam State Status
Chapter 132: Eastdam State Status
If it wasn’t critical, the governor assigned in each city could handle the rest of the work.
Guiding them in the direction he wanted, like a ship’s captain, the rest of the crewmates could handle the rest.
After handling the files and answering questions of various governors, Nash headed to his private training room.
---
Private Training Room:
Scattering thousands of void and elemental crystals around, Nash stood still, quietly sensing the void energy flowing through his body.
His body contained 2,322 fundamental runic programs, controlling every heartbeat, the flow of his blood, the pulse of each organ, and his instinctual reactions.
Of these 2,322 fundamental runic programs, Nash had already studied 1,562.
This study wasn’t just about identifying them but also understanding their essence, which allowed him to control each instinctual response.
Initially, his progress had been slow, as he had no way to target each runic program’s reaction individually.
However, after optimizing the [Sensing Module System], which let him sense the very movement of void energy in his body, it became much easier.
While circulating the void energy, he moved his body in a specific pattern, repeatedly studying how a particular runic program worked.
By focusing on a specific runic program and repeating the process again and again, Nash quickly mastered one in less than an hour.
What once took days to master was now solved in hours.
Unaware of time passing, Nash switched to the next runic program after finishing one.
Over and over, he didn’t stop until an alarm rang.
"Huh~"
Snapping out of concentration, he eagerly opened his runic panel to see the results.
[Nash Navre
Body Saturation: 360%
Soul Saturation: 36.1%
Red Runic Program: 1,563 ->1,569/2,322
Blue Runic Program: 618/10,818]
"It increased by seven points!" Nash muttered in surprise.
Using void energy to probe the fundamental runic programs of his body proved to be highly effective.
In less than two weeks, he should be able to master all the Red Runic Programs that controlled his body.
After fully mastering all the runic programs, updating all the runic module systems would be easier.
Perhaps Nash could even implement some of his wilder ideas.
Tidying up, he began his regular training, then went to hunt in the dark plane.

Meanwhile, at the border of Eastdam State, a group of refugees lined up to register their identity.
"Don’t skip the line! If you want to be part of Eastdam State, discipline comes first!" an officer shouted, seeing their unruly behavior and inability to line up properly.
Among the refugees was Julius, a once-talented young man.
He had been a rising prodigy at Athens Academy, the top academy founded on Earth.
However, tragedy suddenly struck as the Academy was raided by the Earth Horizon Alliance, who killed most of the Arleanian students and teachers, then somehow implicated Julius and others in the aftermath.
Many believed they were the pawns of the Arleanians, set to inherit the legacy of corrupt politicians who had oppressed Earth for generations.
Fortunately, before everyone could be massacred, President Trish intervened, protecting most of them and preserving a spark of hope for Earth.
Even so, loathed by nearly everyone, almost all the students of the Athens Academy were forced to wander like homeless refugees.
Hearing that Eastdam State offered shelter and food to anyone, Julius, along with other students, walked thousands of miles to reach the border.
Hungry and tired, Julius and his fellow students lined up like zombies.
"Name?"
"Me?" Julius muttered dazedly.
"Yes, you!"
"I’m Julius Fey."
"Oh? You have a surname? How did you end up a refugee?"
Only those with enough food, the middle-class, and the rich had the luxury to pass down their family legacy.
For the poor, a decent name to identify themselves was more than enough.
"I-I..." Hearing the question, Julius struggled to find an answer.
Initially, he was like most people on Earth: a nameless orphan destined to become a miner of void crystals.
However, after showing his talent, he was appreciated by the dean and sent to an educational institution.
Moving to higher and higher institutions, he soon caught the attention of the Athens Academy and was specially recruited as a student.
On this journey, he named himself Julius, after a great ruler, and Fey, to convey prosperity.
"Never mind. Just tell me your age and specialty so I can assign you." Seeing that Julius couldn’t answer, the officer just shook his head.
In this dark world, even the most powerful noble could fall overnight. Who cared about a surname?
"I’m 17. As for specialty, does being smart count?" Julius snapped out of his daze and answered quickly.
"Smart? How smart can you be?"
"I can handle accounting, engineering, architecture, law, programming, scientific studies, and more. I can basically do anything as long as it doesn’t involve the extraordinary," Julius said confidently.
Besides his lack of talent for becoming a Void Warrior, he had dabbled in nearly every profession.
"That impressive? Take this bus number and head to the assessment. If you’re as great as you say, it should be easy for you."
Eastdam State desperately needed talent. Even if Julius was exaggerating, they were willing to test his abilities.
Skilled workers had always been scarce, even in the past.
"Can I have something to eat first?" Julius asked, clutching his stomach as he received the bus number and temporary ID.
"You can get food and daily supplies at the booth in the back. Just show them your ID card."
"Thanks..." Julius muttered, waiting for his fellow students behind the line.
They had come this far by supporting each other.
Though they had reached their destination, the journey wasn’t over yet.
Soon, after hundreds of students were registered, they headed straight to the supply booth at the back.
"Brother Julius, do you think they’ll really give us supplies for free?"
"Is it some kind of scam to enslave us?"
"No need to doubt. Since we made it this far, we can only trust they’ll sincerely take us in," Julius murmured with longing.
