I Can Program My Body? -
Chapter 115: Touring In The Dark Plane
Chapter 115: Touring In The Dark Plane
Entering the Dark Plane, Michael and the kids couldn’t help but feel entranced by the place.
"So this is the Dark Plane... Is this where Brother Nash plans to train us next?" Leo muttered as he looked around.
Reading the information about the Dark Plane, his blood couldn’t help but boil.
Opening his dark panel, he looked at the name of his shelter.
"Stone Shelter?"
Seeing the name, Leo returned to reality to report to Nash.
---
A few minutes later, after receiving the names of all the shelters they had randomly spawned in, Nash told them to return and wait.
"Gather near the teleportation station. Wait for me to come get you."
"Yes, Chancellor Nash!"
---
Stepping into the Dark Plane, Nash switched off his mask like flipping an identity.
"This is such a hassle..." Nash frowned.
From the Virtual World to the Dark Plane, he had to remove and replace his mask whenever he wanted to change his identity.
So far, he had four masks: for his real identity, Noir, anonymous for when he was shopping, and a backup.
Initially, he wanted to create a disguise module system.
Unfortunately, the materialization of his body, whether in the Virtual World or the Dark Plane, depended on his soul.
Not believing it at first, he even tried using the [Control Module System] to contort his skin, muscles, and bones. Yet after logging in, it was still his actual body that materialized.
With no other choice, he can only rely on external masks for disguise.
Shaking his head, Nash headed to the teleportation station, where Michael was waiting.
---
"Michael, it’s me," Nash said, spotting him looking around cluelessly.
"Chancellor Nash? Is that you?" Michael asked, recognizing the voice.
"It’s me," Nash nodded, briefly taking off his mask.
"It’s you..." Michael heaved a sigh of relief, recognizing his identity.
"Here’s 10 thousand merits, Help me gather others to the Lantern Shelter. Do you remember their coordinates?"
"Yes, I remember each of their coordinates." Although unfamiliar with the Dark Plane, Michael can only do his best.
"That’s good. If you don’t know anything, just ask the official overseeing the shelter.
Who knew how long it would take if he gathered the students alone?
He still had to locate each one, guide them, and line up at the teleportation stations.
With 36 students, it would take hours.
Understanding the situation, Michael nodded and accepted the merits.
"Leave the students to me!"
Splitting up the list of students, the two began to move.
---
Soon, after about an hour, Nash gathered all the students he was assigned to at the Lantern Shelter.
"Is everyone here?" Nash looked around and asked Michael.
"Everyone is here," Michael reported.
"Then let’s head out. We’ve already wasted enough time."
Guiding them to the gate, they were stopped by the guards.
"Stop. Are you the guardian of these people?" the guard asked, turning to Nash, who seemed more experienced.
Although Michael was also a 3-star Void Warrior, his curious expression gave him away as a newcomer.
"Yes, I’ll be taking these kids to train and experience the dangers of the dark beasts," Nash explained.
"I see. Then good luck. Remember, you’re only allowed to enter a 1-star danger zone. If you’re found anywhere else, you’ll be fined and punished."
"I know," Nash nodded, aware of the rules.
Usually, only those with badges could leave the shelter.
However, as long as a strong enough guardian was present, exceptions were made.
This was how most organizations trained the younger generation more effectively.
Stepping out of the shelter, Michael and the kids couldn’t hold back their curiosity.
"Is this place really as dangerous as they say?"
"There doesn’t seem to be any danger..."
Though the place was unusually gloomy, it looked far more vibrant than the desolate Earth.
"This is a controlled zone. The danger lies only in the designated areas. Still, stay alert. Don’t let your guard down," Nash warned.
"Yes, Chancellor Nash!"
---
After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at their destination.
[Arrived at Silver Grass Plain – Area 1: Danger Level – 1 Star]
The Silver Grass Plain was divided into three areas, ranging from 1 to 3 stars in danger level.
Nash had brought them to Area 1, which didn’t have much danger and had a few dark beasts.
Looking at the vast silver grass stretched across the plain, they couldn’t help but forget the danger they were in.
While they were admiring the scenery in a daze, a white rabbit crept toward the group.
"Don’t move. Let them learn," Nash said with a smile, seeing Michael about to react.
"Hmm," Michael nodded and back out.
A white rabbit shouldn’t be able to kill them. As for injuries? How else could they learn without pain?
Soon, just as Nash had imagined, the white rabbit leapt toward one of the students.
Reacting in time, the student who was attacked tried to block with his arms. Unfortunately, the impact still sent him flying as his arms broke from the force.
"Marco!"
Seeing their friend attacked, the students snapped out of their daze and looked toward the attacker.
When they realized it was just a cute little rabbit, they were momentarily dumbfounded.
They were a Void Warrior at 30% void saturation. Not only should a rabbit be unable to send them flying, even the stealthiest assassin shouldn’t have been able to bypass their senses.
Underestimating the dark beast, they were a little slow to react as the white rabbit leapt again, aiming for another student.
Fortunately, not distracted by its appearance, Leo quickly took action and kicked it in the head.
Seeing him move, the others refused to be outdone and joined in, pummeling the rabbit as a group.
Within seconds, after being beaten by dozens of students, the white rabbit disappeared in shame.
[White Rabbit Killed: +0.03 Merit]
"So little?" Leo frowned, staring at the merit he earned.
He had read about merits and knew how valuable they were.
"This rabbit was barely a 1-star dark beast. On top of that, the merit is split among all of you," Nash explained, seeing Leo’s reaction.
"I see."
"Just keep going. Don’t get hung up on these," Nash said with a smile, turning toward Marco, who was being helped by the others.
