Zixin’s arms were covered in scratches that quickly healed, while on the other hand, Huang Jun’s hand felt slightly numb and was shaking.

"I didn’t expect your body to be so powerful that even with Sword Intent, I’ve only managed to only scratch you but no worries, I’ve figured out your weakness. Very soon, this will all be over." said Huang Jun with confidence and moved so fast that Zixin couldn’t react in time and was slashed by Huang Jun.

But since it didn’t work, Huang Jun didn’t dwell on it too much and changed tactics.

The ground in a hundred meters radius cracked open, causing Huang Jun to lose his balance and fall straight on Zixin’s chest face first. Even though Huang Jun was extremely experienced in combat, it was his first time being so weak that he couldn’t even step on air but fortunately, Zixin’s joints hadn’t healed enough for Zixin to counter attack, or so he thought.

The hole that wanted to tear open his skull was forcefully closed but he was still sent flying far away. So far that he crashed with the protection barrier, shocking everyone including the veiled woman to the core.

[HUANG JUN!] she exclaimed and rushed to his side. At the same time, Zixin then controlled his storage ring to take out healing pills which he quickly swallowed. The storage ring was stuffed in his mouth before he went to provoke Huang Jun which proved to be a smart move since his injuries healed in a few seconds.

Zixin then dashed at fast as he could towards Huang Jun’s direction, leaving a dust cloud in his trail. Seeing Zixin rushing towards Huang Jun, the veiled woman chose to interfere in the battle and created an energy barrier.

Zixin collided with the barrier and rebounded far away like a golf ball against a concrete wall. The ground collapsed into a massive crater of thousands of meters from the shockwaves but the barrier didn’t even shake or create ripples. Everyone thought that everything was over when suddenly, the veiled woman screamed in pain and quickly sat cross legged.

She didn’t know what trick Zixin had used but it was causing her excruciating pain that was unbearable, she took out many healing pills, swallowed them and activated her cultivation technique to speed up the healing process.

The veiled woman suddenly vomited blood then her body exploded, further injuring Huang Jun, destroying the barrier and harming THE Red Rose Sect disciples and elders who couldn’t escape in time.

’Good! Wan Shui, the rest is up to you!’ said Zixin before losing consciousness. The rebound was too great for him to remain conscious so he fainted.

As soon as he appeared, Wan Shui attacked the veiled woman’s Soul form that was still under the effects of the first Burning Flesh attack. And he used his strongest attacks, caught off guard, the veiled woman’s Soul form was greatly injured and sent flying far away but she didn’t choose to battle Wan Shui but instantly ran away with all her strength and speed, nothing was more important than staying alive.

After that, he grabbed the unconscious Huang Jun whose body was as strong as gold but even then, he was greatly injured with missing limbs and burnt flesh. Wan Shui cut off the remaining limbs and put them in his storage ring before retreating with him.

Everything was going according to plan that Wan Shui simply wanted to laugh oul loud and brag about their plan but remembering what Zixin told him, he suppressed his excitement and went to find Zixin. He then fed Zixin some healing pills then continued to run away with Huang Jun’s body and entered a cave he’d prepared.

’Now, time to devour your Soul!’ said Wan Shui as he swallowed many pills and grabbed Huang Jun’s head with his half real and half illusory hands.

"AAAGHHH!!!"

The excruciating pain woke up Huang Jun instantly.

"You old dog! Trying to devour my Soul! You don’t know the immensity of heaven! Let me teach you a lesson!" said Huang Jun coldly. For a Peak Core Condensing Realm expert, his Soul was very strong but against Wan Shui, it still wasn’t enough.

An illusory pagoda was released from within Huang Jun’s Soul and firmly grabbed onto Wan Shui’s Soul, making sure it doesn’t escape.

[Soul Treasure?!] exclaimed Wan Shui in shock but still insisted on devouring Huang Jun’s Soul and this scuffle lasted for a few minutes with both Souls growing weaker, just then, a voice sounded from behind the cave rocks.

"Mommy... where are you?!" Yun Zimo cried out.

[This boy, how did he wake up?! And why did he wake up now of all times!] exclaimed Wan Shui in shock and extreme anger.
