No.

It wasn’t appropriate to describe her as a woman; it would be more fitting to call her a girl.

Because from the outside, she looked like a girl of only about ten years old.

The girl was dressed in a blue Tao Robe, not bearing the vast Divine Might of the Divine Clan, nor possessing the might of the Immortal Path or other extraordinary paths, but rather had a calm aura. At first glance, one might even think she was a descendant of some ordinary Cultivator.

In front of the girl, the magical array that spread deep into the void seemed to have a strange power circulating within, exuding a palpitation-inducing force.

“Dongfang He, paying respects to the Great Elder,” Dongfang He said with a respectful expression to the peculiar girl who was frowning and constructing a complex magical array ahead.

Although filled with curiosity, Han Yi also knew that now was not the time for inquiries. He reined in his thoughts and followed Dongfang He to pay his respects, “Nangong Yi, paying respects to the Great Elder.”

On the Ancestral God Star, he took on the identity of a member of the Divine Clan, hence he referred to himself as Nangong Yi.

As the peculiar girl turned her head, Han Yi finally saw a pair of blue pupils.

Within those pupils, it seemed as though countless vast azure worlds were contained. With just one look, Han Yi’s consciousness suddenly surged with endless blue light, myriad fleeting things flashing past at a speed he couldn’t capture.

This illusion of rapid change made him feel dizzy in his Divine Thoughts.

He quickly closed his eyes, not daring to meet the gaze of the peculiar girl, who was also the Great Elder of the Taichu Divine Race, and respectfully withdrew his gaze.

“Eh?”

A light exclamation came from the mouth of the Great Elder, and she seemed to find something extremely interesting in Han Yi.

“A newly promoted Divine Sovereign?”

“What is your name?”

Han Yi respectfully replied, “Junior is Nangong Yi.”

“Nangong Yi is the name you took when you joined the Divine Clan; I am asking for your original name,” the Great Elder shook her head and asked.

She stopped her research, and with a wave of her hand, the myriad magical arrays turned into Spirit Light, hidden within the nothingness of Chaos.

Upon hearing this, Han Yi truthfully said, “Junior’s name is Han Yi.”

Dongfang He, standing by Han Yi’s side, was already aware of this original name and was not surprised. He had accessed the records related to Han Yi in the Nangong Clan with his exceptionally high authority.

“Han Yi.”

The Great Elder narrowed her eyes and paced in the vast middle space, contemplating Han Yi with a pondering expression.

Han Yi couldn’t help feeling somewhat uneasy inside.

Despite resembling a girl of about ten years old, he would never compare the Great Elder with ordinary mortals. Being able to serve as the Great Elder of the Taichu Divine Race, revered and feared by all Divine Sovereigns, second only in status to the Clan Leader of the contemporary Taichu Divine Race, namely the Lord of Taichu, the strength of the Great Elder was undoubtedly beyond his imagination.

After a moment, the Great Elder stopped pacing and said to Dongfang He, “You may step out first.”

Hearing this, Dongfang He respectfully performed a salute, then threw Han Yi a complicated look and turned to leave.

The mere fact that the Great Elder chose to speak alone with him indicated that there might be a great secret hidden within Han Yi.

In all the past years, he had never heard of the Great Elder choosing to speak alone with a newly advanced Divine Sovereign who came to seek blessing and yet was unknown to the Divine Clan.

Once Dongfang He had left, the Great Elder finally said to Han Yi,

“On you, hmm, there is a mysterious power coming from beyond our world; this power, it is well concealed, even the old man probably can’t see it.”

Upon hearing this, Han Yi felt a change inside him.

The mysterious power from beyond within him was plentiful, yet the one that was most concealed was likely the Proficiency Panel.

To this day, he had speculation about the mysterious and powerful Proficiency Panel – it was definitely not a thing of the Taoist Spirit Chaos World, but rather from beyond the world.

If it weren’t for the mention of “hidden,” Han Yi could still use the Chongxuan Stele as a cover, but the Chongxuan Stele in his Divine Aperture World was not exactly hidden. If it were a High-stage Divine Sovereign possessing powerful pupil-based Divine Arts, they should be able to discover this.

Seeing Han Yi’s nervousness, the Great Elder smiled, waved her hand, and said, “No need to be nervous, I am not going to rob you of it.”

“I’ve encountered too many things from beyond the world, and the ones I am currently researching, with their mysterious functions, are no less than three, so I don’t lack that one you carry.”

“Besides, our Taichu Divine Race does not have the bad habit of forcefully seizing Unique Objects from our people. You can rest assured.”

Han Yi heaved a slight sigh of relief upon hearing these words.

The Proficiency Panel on his body was his greatest secret, an ability that he could not afford to lose. Having it observed so openly was unprecedented in his nearly twenty-thousand years of cultivation.

“Although the old man is a Realm Venerable, he probably doesn’t have the insight that I do. I reckon he can’t see it. But if it were a Realm Venerable who cultivates on the Immortal Path, with their numerous means, they might discern that you carry an artifact of worlds beyond.”

“Let me think.”

“Yes, I’ll resolve this issue with this blessing.”

“Wait a moment.”

The Great Elder suddenly beckoned towards the depths of space, as if summoning something. Moments later, a palm-sized compass of unknown material floated out from the depths of space.

In the center of this compass was an Eight Diagrams pattern in black and white, surrounded by an array of lines glowing with strange brilliance.

“This Unique Object was acquired by the old man in the Cangyun Divine Sea before seven Chaos Eras. I modified it, and using it to shield the fluctuations of the Unique Object on you shouldn’t be a problem.”

She gently tossed the compass embedded with the Eight Diagrams towards Han Yi. Instinctively, he reached out to catch it, but to his surprise, the compass passed into his body like a Phantom.

Shocked, he swept through his body with his Divine Thoughts but couldn’t find the compass anywhere within.

“That’s it for your blessing.”

“However, your blessing is different from other Godly Venerables. You now owe the Taichu Divine Race a favor.”

Upon hearing this, Han Yi, suppressing his shock, bowed deeply in thanks to the Great Elder:

“Many thanks to the Great Elder.”

“I have noted the favor owed to the Taichu Divine Race!”

The Great Elder waved her hand, and understanding the cue, Han Yi respectfully bowed and then turned to leave.

As he stepped out of the pavilion, leaving the peculiar space behind, the Great Elder–in the guise of a ten-year-old girl–narrowed her eyes, deep in thought:

“Such a familiar Unique Object, it seems I have encountered it somewhere before.”

After a moment, she shook her head, unable to recall, and reluctantly gave up on the idea.

“Still, now that he has joined Taichu, perhaps with the aid of this Unique Object, Taichu might gain another Realm Venerable in the future.”

“It’s worth using a Unique Object to conceal him. Otherwise, once he becomes a High-stage Divine Sovereign, the aura of the Unique Object would surely draw the attention of those Dao God Sect fellows.”

Elsewhere.

Han Yi crossed the threshold of the pavilion, and as the space transformed, he found himself back atop God Mountain, with the randomly arranged stone Chaos Space on either side.

At the edge of God Mountain, Dongfang He and several other Divine Sovereigns paused their conversation to look towards Han Yi expectantly.

Yet, at this moment, Han Yi’s thoughts were wholly consumed by what the Great Elder had said. The implications in her words were so vast that he could not sort them out immediately.

The Great Elder had likely referred to the current Clan Leader of the Taichu Divine Race, also known as the Lord of Taichu.

As Han Yi understood it, every Lord of Taichu was at the level of Half-Step Transcendence, that is, a Realm Venerable–matching what the Great Elder had said.

The Elder’s words also hinted that Han Yi’s secret might be concealed from the Lord of Taichu, but not from others at Half-Step Transcend level, especially those who practiced the Immortal Path. If discovered, it would likely lead to the theft of the artifact and his murder.

Hence, to protect Han Yi and prevent the secret of him possessing a Unique Object from other worlds being discovered, the Great Elder gave him another Unique Object from ‘Cangyun Divine Sea’–the mysterious compass with the black and white Eight Diagrams.

This Cangyun Divine Sea was new to him, seemingly not a part of the Nine Great Dao Domains or the Taoist Spirit Chaos Realm, but likely a place beyond known realms.

Moreover,

Due to the Unique Object’s preciousness, by receiving it, not only was the blessing for joining the Taichu Divine Race offset, but he also owed a favor to the Taichu Divine Race.

This is what occurred within the pavilion space.

Regardless, if, as the Great Elder had said, the Proficiency Panel’s aura could be concealed to the extent that not even a Realm Venerable could probe it, he was naturally delighted.

But it’s always good to be cautious. On this matter, he was likewise careful.

With thoughts flickering, Han Yi composed himself and strode towards the many Taichu Divine Sovereigns at the edge of the God Mountain.
