I Became The Academy Necromancer
Chapter 358: Side Story - Mental Body Research

After Deia left, Findenai approached me subtly and draped her arm over my shoulder.

Wondering what she was up to, I tried to brush her hand aside, but the strength in her grip made it clear—this wasn’t just casual contact.

It was a silent pressure, warning me not to go anywhere.

Feeling burdened, I tried to wriggle free, even if I had to force my way out.

However, while I was distracted by Findenai, Erica quietly slipped in from the other side and wrapped her arms tightly around my waist.

Her face was flushed red with embarrassment, but I could feel her firm determination not to let me go.

“Erica, you don’t have to do this if you’re embarrassed.”

Making Findenai a target for retaliation was pointless—she would only find it amusing. However, since Erica seemed genuinely flustered, I decided to focus on her instead.

“I-I’m not at an age where I get embarrassed by things like this anymore.”

“Well said. Because some crazy bastard really believed we could wait forever just because we said so. But honestly, who has that kind of patience?”

Well, she wasn’t wrong.

In the first place, the fact that I was putting up a resistance like this was strange in itself.

Huff, fine.”

With their unwavering grip making their intentions clear, I allowed them to lead me to the bedroom.

The room was dimly lit.

Only a few candles were lit to set the mood, and they didn’t seem to be ordinary ones—they were scented candles.

The overall atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant.

Additionally, I saw the Dark Spiritualist and Stella waiting on either side of the bed. So this was where they’d been hiding all this time.

[The mood is pretty nice, right?]

[We put in some effort!]

The way they puffed up their chests and shrugged their shoulders in satisfaction was kind of cute, so I couldn’t help but nod in agreement.

“Yeah, you really—”

And that was when I noticed something poking out from behind the Dark Spiritualist’s back—something she hadn’t hidden completely.

Restraints?

I might have called them that, but in reality, they were basically ropes or handcuffs used to restrain someone from struggling during torture.

“So, you’re into that kind of thing as well?”

I took a step back unconsciously.

This seemed way too intense for a first night, but the Dark Spiritualist waved her hands frantically.

[No, no! It’s not like that! I just figured you might try to escape at some point, so I prepared them just in case!]

“You don’t really believe that explanation makes it any better, do you?”

Honestly, it didn’t even sound like an excuse. It was basically admitting that she planned to use them as intended.

However, at the same time, it also showed just how serious they were about all this.

“Don’t worry. I won’t try to run, and I won’t disappoint you either. This is all for the sake of studying mental bodies, after all.”

Stella had a complicated expression on her face at my words while the Dark Spiritualist smiled brightly in relief.

[See? I told you he’d say that. That’s why I said we wouldn’t be needing them!]

I considered myself fairly strong-willed, so I wondered if all this preparation was really necessary.

Their excessive readiness was almost exhausting.

However, just then, Stella raised her hand .

[Um… as someone with experience, let me give you some advice?]

The experienced one.

Technically, Stella spent a night with me before in the name of studying mental bodies, so she spoke while looking worried.

[Well, um… you see…]

She seemed just about ready to explain something in detail, but in the end, she just sighed and clamped her mouth shut.

[I-it’s going to be difficult.]

For a moment, a slight chill ran through my body.

When I thought about it—who was Stella? She was a woman so noble that she was called a Saintess, even enduring the torture of demons through sheer determination alone.

And yet, at the same time, she never let go of her love for others.

[It would be much more bearable if it were just pain. If it were an enemy, I could have simply faced them anytime and defeated them… but this isn’t like that.]

Unable to push them away or overcome them, Stella gazed at me with such concern, and a strange tension filled the air.

“Ah, hurry up already!”

Immediately, Findenai pushed me down onto the bed.

“He said it himself that he doesn’t need those things. So everyone else can get out.”

Findenai, who climbed on top of me, glared at the other women. I wondered if they had some order they had decided among themselve, but they didn’t say anything and just left the room.

[Remember, as soon as the artificial body breaks, we should change places!]

“I got it!”

After giving Findenai a stern warning, the Dark Spiritualist left the room.

“Did you set an order?”

I asked the one on top of me, and Findenai smiled as she answered through her disheveled hair.

“We need to turn you into a mental body, right? That’s why we set it up like this.”

“…”

“I’ll be staying until your artificial body breaks apart. Once it breaks, you’ll become a soul, and the Dark Spiritualist and Stella will step in.”

“And?”

“Once you succeed in forming a mental body, it’s Erica’s turn. After all, she’s the only one here who can’t see souls.”

It was, in a way, a well-structured order.

Findenai, who had gained the ability to see souls after absorbing the Mountain Lord’s power, was tasked with breaking the artificial body.

Then, the two souls would then step in to help me who was in a soul state transform into a mental body.

And finally, once I formed a mental body, Erica would check to see whether she could see and touch me.

According to the original plan, Deia would have probably been there at the end as well.

“By the way, since Deia left, I’ll be coming back in at the end.”

Well, I didn’t know how Erica would react, but whatever.

“You’re more serious than I thought.”

When I said that, Findenai twitched and answered.

Ssk, ssk.

“Isn’t that obvious? You said it yourself that you would like it if you could really form a mental body, didn’t you, Master Bastard?”

“Is that why you’re wearing a maid outfit?”

“I wore this to remind you of the moment when you fell for me completely. Do I still look good in this?”

Ssk. Ssk.

“It looks… fine, but…”

She kept moving her hips subtly, stimulating my lower body, which surprisingly had an effect.

I couldn’t really call her movements skilled. Fortunately, this was an artificial body because I could feel a slight pain.

But despite that, I reacted impulsively because I could feel how hard Findenai was working.

Heh, heh. Are you getting aroused? Hm? Are you curious about what’s under the maid’s skirt I’ve been wearing for nearly two years?”

Findenai grabbed both ends of her maid skirt and raised it slightly, revealing glimpses of her black underwear and well-shaped thighs. She repeated the motion, alternately showing and concealing them.

“Hm? How is it? Are you excited? The artificial body shouldn’t break yet.”

Geez.”

I didn’t know where she learned this from, but it was definitely making me feel excited.

Her rubbing her lower body against mine subtly was enough to make my heart race.

How did I end up falling in love with such a woman?

I let out a hollow laugh without realizing it, causing Findenai to give me a puzzled look and tilt her head.

“What? Illuania told me you’d love this.”

So it was Illuania who taught her.

“She said that if I subtly show off like this and act all flirty, you’d give in immediately and start wagging your hips like a dog.”

She was flustered that the method she learned from her teacher didn’t seem to be working. Honestly, more than any of her actions today, her current innocent expression was what stirred my impulses the most.

Illuania must have known this wouldn’t work either.

What should I call this?

It felt like the current Findenai was a feast that Illuania had carefully prepared for her former master—me.

Illuania had taught her just enough to provoke me, leaving the rest for me to devour at my own pace. I wondered if Findenai would ever realize that this was her teacher’s elaborate scheme.

“Are you treating me the same as everyone else?”

Finding it amusing, I smirked. As I slowly raised my upper body and faced Findenai, she tried to lean back instinctively.

However, I had already placed my hand behind her waist, preventing her from escaping.

Ugh.”

Her hot breath grazed my neck. The corners of her lips, which had been curved in confidence, slowly drooped, and she avoided my gaze.

“Let me take a look at you.”

I gently placed my hand on her cheek and turned her face toward me again, causing her blood-red eyes to waver.

“Ha-ha…”

“Ha?”

She had been so thrilled about holding the upper hand just moments ago, but now she was visibly losing control.

It seemed her tongue was a bit tied as she stammered, and then Findenai pressed a hand against my chest lightly and continued speaking.

“Don’t.”

“…You don’t want me to do it?”

“Y-Yeah, you bastard. What’s the point if you’re doing it to me?”

“Is that so?”

If the main goal was to get me excited enough to break the artificial body, did it really matter whether I took the lead or she did?

However, that didn’t seem to be the case for Findenai.

“I-I said stop, you damn… bastard.”

She tried to push me away, urging me to lie back down, but there was no real strength in her voice. Even her insults lacked spirit, reminding me of the Dark Spiritualist who once called her sloppy.

I wrapped both hands around Findenai’s waist and flipped our positions with one swift motion.

Hiik!

Gasping, Findenai realized that she was now the one pinned down on the bed.

In a panic, she flailed her arms, trying to escape, but I calmed her by pressing my lips against hers.

“Mmh…”

Once we actually started touching, Findenai, who had been unsure of what to do, gradually began to relax.

The last time we kissed, she had taken control and acted all high and mighty. And seeing her so timid now was… quite something.

“You’re beautiful.”

When I pulled away and met her eyes, she blushed fiercely.

As she squirmed awkwardly, twisting her waist, I kissed her once again.

And now that she seemed to have calmed down a bit, her legs slowly wrapped around one of mine.

“Damn bastard… Who knew those stories about masters seducing their naive countryside maid would be real?”

Each time we broke the kiss, she made sure to say something just to avoid admitting defeat.

Watching her, I let out a hollow chuckle.

“Loosen your legs before talking.”

What was she even trying to say when she was the one clinging onto me so tightly as if she was afraid I’d run away?

“This is…”

Realizing what she was doing, Findenai carefully released the tension in her legs.

Then, she suddenly got angry in reverse.

“D-Do you like this? Huh? Are you enjoying yourself? Playing around with a virgin—is that fun for you? You bastard, once I get used to this… then you’ll…!”

“The Dark Spiritualist told me something.”

We were so close that our noses were almost touching.

Even in this intimate moment, we continued talking as if nothing had changed.

“She said you’re sloppy.”

“What? Like she’s any better…!”

“Well then,”

Let’s check and see for ourselves.

As I kissed her again, I gently raised my knee between her legs.

The moment my knee touched the damp fabric of her underwear beneath her skirt…

Hngh—?!”

Findenai let out a sweet, trembling moan even while kissing.
