I Became The Academy Necromancer -
Chapter 327: Start
“Ugh, my stomach hurts.”
“Did I not warn you not to eat that?”
Findenai’s expression didn’t look good.
The sight of her clutching her stomach and writhing in pain was more frustrating than it was pleasing.
Was she really that hurt when I told her that the food she made was inedible?
However, when I thought about the pain I would have experienced after eating it, it didn’t seem like that big a deal.
“You took a bite of what that hero brat and the princess made, even though it was bad, didn’t you?”
“…Nothing good has ever come from you being able to talk to the Dark Spiritualist.”
Was the Dark Spiritualist holding a grudge against that?
Anyway, she was an adult in body but a child in every other way.“I thought I made it somewhat edible, but was it still undercooked?”
“If you go to the infirmary, you should find some digestive medicine. With your strong body, that should be enough.”
“Aren’t you going to nurse me even though you’re my master?”
“…”
Not sure what she was expecting, I made a face as Findenai flopped onto the sofa in the lab.
It was the same sofa where Professor Fel, who often had too much to do, would occasionally take naps.
“My stomach hurts.”
[Do you want me to take a look?]
As soon as Stella stepped forward, Findenai immediately shot her a cold look.
“Mind your own business, will you?”
[Let me see your stomach.]
“Is it because you’re a Saintess that you have no wits at all? Go and pray on your own instead.”
[It doesn’t look like you’re in that much pain.]
“Argh, seriously!”
Findenai covered her eyes with her hand, sighing as she responded.
“Deal.”
[I can’t really tell. Maybe you should take a look, Deus.]
“…I think I just witnessed some kind of transaction take place right in front of my eyes.”
I said it without hiding my discomfort, but Stella backed away quietly and disappeared, and Findenai grinned slyly.
“Ah, hurry up. Who will protect you if I collapse from the pain here, Master Bastard?”
“Hah, now I know the stomach pain was a lie, thanks to that.”
However, even though I said this, I couldn’t resist the whining woman’s demands, so I slowly knelt in front of the sofa where she was lying and placed my hand on her.
As my hand glided smoothly over her clothes, I could feel her warm skin and the muscles she had built up during her time in the resistance.
“So, do you feel a little better?”
When I asked her casually, Findenai stared at me intently, then started grinning and laughing for no apparent reason.
“Hehe, hehe.”
“…”
“Heh…… Ah, sorry. I tried to hold in my laughter, but it’s hard.”
“What’s so funny?”
I wondered what was so enjoyable about just a simple touch when Findenai placed her hand over mine and asked.
“What should we name the child?”
“So, this is what you wanted.”
I pushed her hand away and immediately got to my feet. Findenai slapped the sofa and laughed out loud as if teasing me for just figuring it out now.
“Ah, that was really funny! Did you not feel it just now? The fatherly love?”
“Huff.”
“What do you think? Huh? Isn’t this the sort of moment where you do something really passionate at the end? The enemies are waiting outside and the two lovers are having their final—!”
Findenai, who had been speaking, suddenly sat up straight and scratched her cheek as if feeling something was off.
“It’s not our final moment, right? We’re not going to die here, you and I. Thinking about it, if we do this now, one of us might die. Isn’t that how most stories go?”
“We usually called that a cliché in the world I came from.”
“Really? Then what happens after that?”
“…Do you really want me to spell it out?”
I felt like I was about to lose it. I couldn’t really understand why she was being so demanding.
However, Findenai glared at me and placed her hand on her hips.
“Damn, with all those bitches targeting your lower half, how can I just sit still?”
“…”
When I stared at her with a look as if to ask her if she was serious, Findenai, who had been bold just moments ago, finally scratched the back of her head.
With a blush rising on her face, she seemed slightly embarrassed.
“Ah, well, that was just an excuse…”
“Then?”
“It’s just… just… uh, just…”
For once, Findenai hesitated while speaking. And unable to withstand my gaze, she eventually confessed.
“You know, you don’t really express yourself well with words, Master Bastard.”
“…”
“So I thought maybe I could experience it in another way. If you’re not good at expressing it with words, maybe you could convey it through actions, right? But you haven’t done that either.”
Looking at her, several thoughts passed through my mind.
I could sense that the confident Findenai was starting to feel uneasy now.
“Right, it is my fault.”
All this talk only meant that I had been passive, which was what led her to push me this far.
“I was planning to address the matter of our relationship properly once all this was over. But if you cannot wait until then…”
I slowly approached Findenai and gently pushed her back, causing her to naturally lean on the sofa behind her.
“Hngh?”
Findenai’s face showed bewilderment as the sudden situation caught her off guard. However, like a stealthy assassin, I quickly grabbed her shoulder and kissed her gently.
Hup!
A strange sound escaped Findenai’s lips, and it was so amusing that my lips curled into a slight smile even as I kissed her.
Findenai’s cheeks turned bright red when she noticed that.
“Puhap! Hey, hey you bastard! You… you’re laughing?”
Findenai immediately pushed me away.
However, from the way her hand remained on my shoulder, it seemed like she didn’t really dislike it.
“D-Do you like teasing me that much? Should I prepare myself for this? What’s going to happen?”
“Do you not like it?”
“Look at you asking that! You already know the answer you’re going to get, don’t you?!”
Flustered and excited, Findenai started spitting out words faster, clearly caught off guard by how the situation had evolved.
“Do you not like it?”
Her flustered state was so cute that I had to ask her again. Findenai gripped my hand tightly and shouted.
“No! Yeah, I hate it, Master Bastard! So, what are you going to do about it? Huh? What will you do if I say I hate it?”
Right.
“It looks like I have no choice then.”
I kissed her again, silencing her. Findenai’s eyes opened wide in shock, and her eyes started to glisten.
The kiss was deeper than I expected, and when it ended…
“Huh… Eh?”
Perhaps the lingering emotions had an effect; she couldn’t even speak properly, as if her tongue was all tied up.
“I am sorry for being a master who does not value your opinions as my maid that much.”
Gently, I placed my hand on her cheek, as she babbled like a child.
I could feel her warmth through my palm.
Her trembling cheek.
However, instead of fear, her gaze was full of flirtation, as if she were hoping for something more.
Findenai tilted her head and carefully kissed the hand I had placed on her cheek.
Smooch.
It felt like it was the only form of expression she could manage for now.
And as I slowly reached out…
KABBOOM!
Ironically, and, for some reason, it felt perfectly natural.
A commotion erupted outside, and I could feel a magical barrier being formed around the academy.
I quickly pulled away and dashed to the window.
Though they were yet to reach the academy entrance, I could see the Mage Tribunal Judges pushing their way through the city and heading towards this place.
“Findenai, get ready.”
When I returned to my usual self and spoke, Findenai, who had been blushing just moments ago, stared at me blankly.
Without a word, she suddenly sprang to her feet, grabbed Snow White, which was leaning by the lab entrance, and walked outside.
[She’s unexpectedly calm, huh?]
[I wonder as well.]
“…Were you watching?”
Before I realized it, the Dark Spiritualist and Stella had appeared at my sides. Their lips were sealed tightly, but the red tint on their faces spoke volumes.
I assumed that Findenai, unusually quiet, had simply left. However, feeling a bit concerned, I cautiously opened the door again and I could hear a voice from the corridor.
“Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it!”
She was spewing out curses, and her murderous intent was almost tangible.
“FUCKIIIING IDIOTSSSSSS! You can’t even come at the fucking right timing! Fucking assholes!”
Eventually, she screamed in frustration, and the entire building trembled violently as if showing the extent of her power.
[…Can’t Findenai handle this on her own?]
[If it were me, I’d retreat for now.]
I completely agreed with the Dark Spiritualist and Stella, but for the time being, I needed to prepare myself to face the army.
I grabbed Heralhazard’s staff and stepped out of the laboratory.
[By the way, Deus, you’re giving off a bit of a bad-boy vibe.]
[…I-I kinda like it.]
“You should know the time and place.”
I was a little annoyed by the two of them mumbling behind my back.
[Look who’s talking.]
The Dark Spiritualist responded bluntly.

The Mage Tribunal Judges and the heavily armored knights of the Duchy of Valestan began charging toward the academy.
The vanguard consisted of the most defensively powerful troops, shielded by mental protection spells cast by the Jerman Kingdom’s necromancers.
This was to prevent Deus Verdi from using the wave that would inflict mental damage through the souls, as he had done last time.
Magic is something you just need to take hits from and breakthrough. Once we infiltrate the academy, our victory is certain.
Filled with conviction, Tyren, the Mage Tribunal Judge leading the troops, gripped his staff firmly.
While the task would have been much easier with Saintess Lucia and the Holy Grail.
However, the souls were merely being used by the necromancer, and holy power would only annihilate them, causing her to clearly refuse to help.
The Saintess stated her stance that innocent souls should not be destroyed.
If this assault failed, the Saintess would have to bear the aftermath. However, she would endure it.
This battle holds a significant stake in the balance.
Resolute in securing victory at all costs, Tyren started running with a determined mindset.
However, just as they were almost there, two figures appeared at the entrance of the academy. They were wearing somewhat fluttering, ridiculous dresses.
“…No way.”
One of the figures, with blonde hair, looked strangely familiar.
Tyren felt a rush of fear.
Not because of the girls’ strange attire or the intimidating aura, but because of their very existence.
Because those figures were clearly people who shouldn’t be stopping them.
Was it his last shred of conscience?
One of them wore a white mask that covered her eyes, but if they were to see the eyes behind it, there would be no doubt.
Princess?
It had to be Eleanor Luden Griffin.
Then, the black-haired girl next to her…
“Ugh, do we really have to wear this?”
“I just wanted to try being a magical girl for once.”
Puffing out air through her nostrils as she spoke to the grumbling Aria, Eleanor responded excitedly.
And despite Aria glaring at her in frustration, Eleanor adjusted her outfit happily, examining herself in excitement.
“What a shame. If I had a mirror and some drawing paper, I’d draw it right now. ”
“Just shut up and look ahead already. They’re here.”
“Your line! Say your line!”
“Argh! I’m so done with this! How can I say a line like that? Twilight what? Peace in the world? You’ve definitely lost it!”
“The transformation line is a must!”
While Eleanor grumbled, Aria ignored her and stepped forward.
She was holding a massive golden greatsword. The precious blade, encrusted with jewels, was known by a specific name…
Griffin’s Claw?!
Tyren couldn’t believe his eyes.
Was that really the greatest treasure from the royal treasury?
The blade was so precious that only a few had ever seen it, and most around didn’t even know what it was.
Aria drove the sword into the ground effortlessly, shouting.
“If you wish to pass through here, you’ll have to get through me first!”
Eleanor behind her also slammed her staff onto the ground with a heavy thud.
That weapon too was a treasure carefully kept in the royal vault.
A brilliant light emanated from Eleanor’s body, and what she was wearing transformed into an ordinary robe.
“…Huh?”
Instead of being impressed, Aria gaped in disbelief and glared at Eleanor.
Eleanor winked and gave her a thumbs-up.
“You know, I can’t fight in something that ridiculous at my age.”
“You bitch! You forced me into this! Hold up, I want to change my clothes as—!”
Aria was about to shout something. However…
DONG!
A piano tune echoed from somewhere, signaling the start of the battle.
“Not now, Owen! This isn’t the time!”
“Push forward!”
Ignoring the girls, Tyren gritted his teeth and charged ahead.
“Wait! Hold on! Godammit, fuck this!”
“Go, magical washboard girl!”
“I’ll kill you for real later!”
Despite the commotion, if it were to be described in terms of the game that served as the setting for this world, to face the final boss, Deus Verdi, they first had to defeat the mid-bosses—Former hero Aria Rias and Griffin’s princess, Eleanor Luden Griffin.
