Chapter 960: Chapter 608: Ruins of Level 5 or Even Sixth-level Civilizations? (Part 3)
This feeling is very subtle, with a sense of unease as if the whole world is an enemy.
“This is the real world.”
There was no time to be overly sentimental, as the ship’s hatch opened, and human soldiers marched out from the fortress in formation.
The current power armor, named “Giant Source Fire God Soldier,” is an improved model combining Source Fire Armor and Giant Divine Weapon. Theoretically, each mecha has the power to defeat a Level 7 Grandmaster.
Meanwhile, from the Akagang civilization’s ship, a few silver-white power mechs also emerged.
Lu Yuan squinted his eyes, surprisingly seeing several different forms of aliens.
One race’s head looked quite large, with four eyes and slender limbs, resembling a four-eyed octopus.
Another race stood three meters tall, with thick facial fur, and muscular bodies, akin to mighty, maned gorillas.
As for the last race, they were about the same size as humans, but their faces were broad, with prominent brow ridges, large noses, and protruding chins.
This human-like race should be the leaders of the Akagang civilization, as they were the most numerous, with the other two species subtly centering around them.
“A multi-species alliance civilization, is it…”
This scene was not unfamiliar to humans, as even humans themselves were part of a multi-species alliance, with Lanpeng people also participating in this diplomatic encounter.
“Dear friends from afar, it’s a pleasure to meet you. Allow me to introduce myself. I am the human diplomat, Lu Yu, and I am here to engage in friendly and cordial talks with your civilization.”
“This is our gift for you.”
The soldiers presented a transparent glass box containing approximately 0.5 Spirit Essence of consumables and a few exquisitely crafted books.
The aliens were all a bit surprised. From the earlier military drills, it was clear that the humans were significantly stronger, with the Akagang civilization only using high-yield hydrogen bombs to regain some face, though they still appeared somewhat timid.
And now, this batch of gifts from the humans, while 0.5 Spirit Essence was not too much, offering gifts under uncertain terms was quite a wonderful gesture.
Evidently, humans were not an entirely ignorant noob civilization, but could only be regarded as making friendly overtures.
The Akagang civilization, unprepared with gifts, felt awkward, prompting the leader to quickly signal to subordinates with a glance to prepare a few small items in the ship’s cabin.
The human diplomat, Lu Yu, continued, “We hail from across the ocean and have been on the path of opening the Safe Zone for 234 years, witnessing many stories along the way.”
“We are seeking the truth of the Epoch Disaster and trying to find ways to enhance ourselves. More friends mean more paths.”
“Whether or not we can become friends, we can still adhere to the principle of finding common ground while reserving differences to coexist peacefully. The Pangu Continent is vast enough to accommodate many civilizations.”
Lu Yuan nodded slightly, acknowledging that these seasoned diplomats, trained in the Northern Territory for a long time, were indeed capable on their own. Their words were flawless.
They managed to showcase their own foundation without losing any decorum.
As for leaving the Safe Zone 234 years ago, it was a collectively agreed-upon narrative, theoretically occurring after the “Source Fire Volcano Eruption,” which saw more and more civilizations leaving the Safe Zone. The timeline after the eruption made for a reasonable figure.
The Akagang civilization did not let there be any pause in proceedings. The leading figure removed the glass shield and spoke through a machine translation, “Human friends, greetings. I am the leader of the Akagang civilization, Solomon. It is an honor to meet you.”
“We left the Safe Zone 129 years ago and embarked on a journey filled with dangers.”
“Surviving in the Pangu Continent hasn’t been easy. We have also discovered some civilization relics, growing into a united tripartite alliance.”
“Here is the gift we’ve prepared, please graciously accept it.”
A gorilla-like alien carried a large box, also encased in glass, and handed it over.
Lu Yuan glanced at it; there were several rune knives, along with firearms and engraving bullets, indicating a rushed preparation.
But it was not a big issue.
What followed was cautious negotiations, without much constructive outcome.
The distrust between civilizations is hard to eliminate in a short time.
Fortunately, with the goal of a High-level Civilization Relics, they had something to discuss in common.
Solomon spoke in an exaggerated tone, “The High-level Civilization Relics do indeed exist!”
“That place is beyond your imagination; it is a magnificent presence left by former Level 5 Civilization, or perhaps even a Sixth-level Civilization, or even the Peak Civilization!”
These keywords directly astonished the humans.
