I Am Unaware That I Am the Peerless Martial God -
Chapter 901: Game Again
"Damn it, he actually dared to throw me down!"
Mei Xian'er stood up, grabbed the mahjong tiles from the table, and in her fury, crushed them into dust.
In all the world, no one had ever dared to treat her like this.
Every man she'd ever known had either worshipped or pampered her—except this one.
For a moment, she trembled with rage, her delicate frame shaking as she imagined tearing Yi Feng to pieces.
It took her a long, deep breath to finally calm down enough to sit again.
She added more tea leaves, hoping to steady her emotions further.
Soon, the rich aroma of tea filled the air. As she leisurely lifted the cup to her lips, the memory of Yi Feng flipping her over flashed in her mind.
Suddenly, she laughed.
A man like this actually existed—one who had the audacity to give her a shoulder throw."Little one, I was ready to tear you apart, but now that I think about it… you’re actually kind of adorable, aren’t you?"
"Hehe…"
She covered her mouth, giggling uncontrollably.
"Somehow, I just can’t bring myself to hate you. Such an amusing little thing—almost makes me want to keep you by my side."
"Well then, sister will have to see who outplays whom."
"Someone!"
She waved her hand.
"My lady."
A steward knelt respectfully before her.
"Bring that Yi Feng to the third floor and arrange a room for him," Mei Xian'er commanded with a flick of her wrist.
"As you wish."
The steward bowed and hurried downstairs.
Meanwhile, Yi Feng was still grumbling his way through the second floor when the steward caught up to him.
Hearing that Mei Xian'er had invited him to the third floor, Yi Feng agreed without hesitation.
Who would turn down a luxury suite?
Since he was a dead man walking anyway, why not live it up?
Not only did he go to the third floor, but he also demanded the finest room—the Celestial Suite.
"The Celestial Suite? That’s…"
The steward hesitated.
The Celestial Suite wasn’t just about wealth—it was reserved for distinguished figures of high status.
"What, not allowed?"
Yi Feng tilted his head, challenging.
Torn between duty and Mei Xian'er’s unusual interest in Yi Feng, the steward finally relented after a long pause.
Once Yi Feng settled into the lavish room, the steward rushed back to the fourth floor to report.
"My lady!"
He dropped to his knees before Mei Xian'er.
Seeing his flustered state, she merely smiled, unfazed.
"No need to panic. He refused, didn’t he? I expected as much."
"A little pride in a young man is perfectly normal."
She sipped her tea, only to notice the steward’s face twisting further in distress.
"Out with it, then," she said lazily.
"My lady, it’s not that—it’s not what you think!" Finally permitted to speak, the steward blurted, "He not only agreed but insisted on the Celestial Suite!"
"Oh?"
The tea scalded her lips as she nearly dropped the cup, staring at the steward in shock.
"Well now… things just got even more interesting."
"Such a contradictory little fellow. Utterly unpredictable."
"But judging by how flustered and furious you were earlier… you’re still very much interested in women, aren’t you?"
"Fine then. Let’s see who outmaneuvers whom."
"Sooner or later, I’ll have you wrapped around my finger."
Her crimson lips curled as she dismissed the steward. With a flicker of magic, her form shifted—now an even more alluring woman, draped in sheer silks and black stockings, her every movement dripping with seduction.
She glided down to the third floor and stopped before Yi Feng’s door.
"Help… is anyone there?"
Inside, Yi Feng was busy counting his recent earnings when a faint, pleading voice reached him.
At first, he ignored it. But as the cries grew more desperate, he stashed his spirit crystals and opened the door.
There stood an exquisitely beautiful woman.
Her cheeks were flushed, her breath uneven. Leaning weakly against the doorframe, she gazed up at Yi Feng with pleading eyes.
"Sir… this humble girl is in trouble. Might I… come in?"
Mei Xian'er’s voice was soft, trembling with vulnerability.
In her experience, no man could resist her like this—her beauty, her helplessness, the way her body arched just so.
But then—
BANG!
The door slammed shut, nearly hitting her in the face.
She stood frozen, staring blankly at the polished bronze door in disbelief.
