I am the Zombie King of the Apocalyptic World -
Chapter 757 - 753
Chapter 757: 753
Su Sigui clearly remembered that during his fight with Li Henian, the weapon in his hand had left dozens of wounds, big and small, on him.
These injuries were only superficial, but for Level 6 New Humans to recover from them without leaving scars would take around three to four hours—yet only a few minutes had passed, and not a single trace of a wound could be seen on Tang Ye’s body!
The only explanation for such a situation could be that Tang Ye, who had evolved into a Level 6 New Human, possibly had some sort of special ability—super healing!
Back to Tang Ye, he’d moved at his full speed past Su Sigui, and as he got closer to the Peace Party’s base, he began to hear the constant sound of gunfire there!
"They’ve really started fighting!"
Upon realizing this, Tang Ye’s face became more ferocious, his eyes burning with rage, as if he wanted to destroy everything! His aura was thick and overpowering, causing countless people to be shocked and hurriedly stay out of his way.
Boom!
Tang Ye once again ran through a building and stepped right out, disregarding the dust on his head as he continued to rush forward. Then, he suddenly spotted a familiar figure standing by the roadside—it was Chen Bieli!
He didn’t know why, his own speed had reached a level that normal eyes couldn’t track, but Chen Bieli, an ordinary person, had her eyes locked on him!
"What’s going on?" his eyes narrowed, before he could think any further, he ignored her and planned to go straight past.
However, he quickly noticed that when Chen Bieli saw him, her face lit up with joy, as if she had been waiting for him here for a long time.
Her facial features were proportionally distributed on her face, making it easy for people to trust. Coupled with her expression, it gave the impression that she had something important to say to him. Seeing this, Tang Ye felt confused and unconsciously slowed down his pace.
Maybe Chen Bieli does have something important to tell me.
Truth be told, Tang Ye didn’t dare to miss any information about him.
He abruptly stopped in front of Chen Bieli, looked at her for a moment and quickly asked, "What are you doing?"
"Finally found you!" Breathing a sigh of relief, Chen Bieli patted her chest.
"Come, follow me, I have something very important to tell you."
As she said that, she took Tang Ye’s hand and lead him towards the alleyway. Tang Ye was oddly complaisant and let her lead him along.
"What is it?" Furrowing his brow, Tang Ye asked. He didn’t have much time to waste with Chen Bieli. Any delay could result in Ah Fu’s death in the hands of Li Songhua.
"Don’t worry, just follow me!"
Chen Bieli responded and continued leading Tang Ye forward. They stopped in a secluded cross-alley. She looked around to confirm there were no people nearby, took a deep breath, and said mysteriously to Tang Ye, "No one’s here now. Just promise me you won’t get upset when I break the news to you. It’s a very, VERY big deal!"
"What on earth happened?"
"Just don’t get upset."
In their conversation, Tang Ye didn’t notice the strange smile on Chen Bieli’s face.
Other than Li Songhua daring to strike the Peace Party at such a time, what else could possibly make him upset?
The more he thought about it, the more uneasy he felt. His sense of urgency returned.
"Speak up."
"Alright."
Chen Bieli chuckled, slowly tilted her head towards Tang Ye’s ear. But just then, his eyes widened as Chen Bieli’s hand darted towards his waist and then swiftly retracted.
But when her hand withdrew, it was holding something!
It was a large syringe filled with green liquid! Almost simultaneously, Tang Ye sensed something was off. He immediately responded, but Chen Bieli’s action came unexpectedly fast. By the time he reacted, he could hear the slight sound of flesh being pierced!
He had no idea what material was used for the needle on her big syringe, but it was incredibly firm, easily piercing into his skin.
He could feel the fluid from the syringe rapidly injecting into his body!
"You’re looking for death!"
Tang Ye’s eyes flashed, he sneered twice. Although he didn’t know what Chen Bieli had injected into him—maybe poison or medicine, or something else, but she probably didn’t know he was a zombie!
What poison could harm a zombie?
Having thought about it, he raised his hand, about to tear the girl who attempted to harm him into pieces. But as soon as he attempted to do that, Tang Ye got slapped in the face by Chen Bieli!
The green fluid barely entered his body, when Tang Ye started to feel slightly dizzy, as if his thinking had stopped. He sensed his speed was slowing down and he began to see double.
This feeling was too familiar. The remaining consciousness quickly reminded him why it felt familiar.
He exclaimed, "F*cking oblivion grass..."
Just as he cried out the words, Tang Ye’s hand dropped weakly, his consciousness completely succumbing into unconsciousness.
Therefore, what Chen Bieli injected into him is nothing but the liquid form of the oblivion grass. This plant is a special evolved plant, which can easily disorient both high-level zombies and humans if consumed negligently.
"Have a nice sleep."
Looking at the unconscious Tang Ye, Chen Bieli whispered and hugged him towards the darkest alleyway.
Meanwhile in Hua City,
A massive dragon burst out of the ground, roaring at the sky. Its body moved swiftly towards the Qinshan Base. Standing on its head was a towering figure, a black robe swirling around him. Turning his head, the face under the black robe was terrifyingly ferocious, exuding a chilling, nightmarish aura.
This was Tang Ye’s avatar. At this moment, he had a face full of anger and uncontrollable killing intent!
"Chen Bieli, I’m going to kill you!" He hadn’t expected this at all. He actually capsized in the gutter, being outplayed by Chen Bieli, a girl who seemed harmless!
Just one second before he fell unconscious, Tang Ye focused all his attention on his avatar. The dragon under his feet also sped up towards Qinshan Base at its fastest.
Roar!
At the Peace Party’s place,
Ah Fu, trapped within the beam, was becoming thinner. Once robust and healthy, he now seemed to be headed towards a gaunt phantom. Other than his back, his silvery steel skin had been peeled away from the rest of his body, revealing the black-red flesh!
He fiercely resisted the power of the Dragon-slaying Sword, but the strength it released was something a Level 6 zombie could no longer withstand.
With his internal energy rapidly depleting, he felt increasingly weak.
