With a bellow, Dai Changhao decapitated the Level 2 zombie and pulled Little Wu back. However, he quickly retreated directly after, yanking him several yards away.

A burst of dust billowed where they previously stood, as Lin Qiangguang descended from the sky. Landing where they once were, he stared at them with bloodthirsty eyes, his voice hoarse.

"I will torture the two of you to death!"

After that, he punched a zombie that valiantly charged towards him, exploding its head. He then disregarded the foul pus-blood on his arm and advanced forward. Raising his sabre, he dashed straight towards Dai Changhao!

"Damn it, at least give me a way out. You father and son duo want to die together? I’ll send you both on your journey hand in hand to the Underworld Road!"

Dai Changhao’s face contorted in fury, with a murderous gleam in his eyes. Ever since his remark, Lin Qiangguang’s anger had intensifed, emanating a chilling killing aura!

With a roar, his voice hoarse from raging fury, it was obnoxious to the ear!

Their aura clashed against one another, an even though it wasn’t as absurd as their Level 6 New Human counterparts, it still couldn’t be underestimated.

Both sides brimmed with killing intent; not every person would be so calm when forced into a corner. Dai Changhao isn’t a good person to begin with, and how could he tolerate being overwhelmed by Lin Qiangguang?

As their auras clashed, they body slammed, Lin Qiangguang raised his blade and Dai Changhao brandished his in defense!

A muffled sound echoed as they neatly retreated and once more resumed their duel. It’s an attempt to guarantee the other’s death before their own!

Lin Qiangguang, driven by fury and hatred, held absolutely no regard for his personal defense. Wielding his army saber, he struck continuously creating gusts of wind, and if he didn’t succeed on the first try, he would strike again. He appeared as if he has lost his rationality!

"Die!"

With a furious howl, his saber once again cleaved down. His Level 4 New Human strength was fully unleashed. Dai Changhao hastily reacted, blocking with his sabre. He tried to kick Lin Qiangguang unexpectedly, but Lin Qiangguang was a step ahead. As soon as his sabre was blocked, he kicked Dai Changhao sideward, forcing him to retreat. His eyes blazed with fury as he roared and lunged forward.

"Die, for me!"

"Bratty boy!"

In the heat of their fury, the two clashed once again. The cold metallic flash of their weapons intermingling in the pitch black night. Approaching zombies were pushed away by their intimidating auras. If a zombie approached, it was slashed down!

The continuous sound of metal clashing against metal echoed, deafening to the ear. The two fought with a loss of consciousness; they completely forgot about the inevitable onset of zombies surrounding them.

"Dang!"

The shock from a massive force sent Dai Changhao flying backward. Lin Qiangguang yelled aggressively, his blade chopping toward Dai Changhao’s neck in fury.

"Damn it!"

Dai Changhao’s face paled. He quickly withdrew his blade, retreating backward. Despite both of them being Level 4 New Humans, there was a considerable difference. As Plume Legion commander, Lin Qiangguang’s repute was earned through numerous battles. His ability was commendable, and gradually, Dai Changhao began to lose ground.

He wished to continue fighting, but at that moment, approaching soldiers forced him to his limit. Successive laser shots were directed his way.

"Damn it!"

Dai Changhao cursed under his breath. He had no other alternative but to flee. However, no one was willing to let him off that easily.

Just as he was about to move, a man landed before him. In his hands held an iron rod with two sharpened ends. It was none other than Captain Hu!

At that moment, he stared at Dai Changhao with a scowl and coldly uttered, "So it was you. No wonder you disappeared for so long. As it turns out, you aren’t one of us. Hmm hmm hhm. Do you think you can get away with that? Die!"

"Are you out of your mind? Get the hell outta here!"

Dai Changhao bellowed. However, just as he finished his sentence, a few people sprung out from the encroaching brigade of soldiers. They emanated a strong aura and were undoubtedly Level 3 and Level 2 New Humans. Without a moment’s delay, they lunged at the approaching Little Wu.

Little Wu was immediately embroiled. From the start, neither Lin Qiangguang nor Captain Hu paid any attention to Little Wu. Displaying an air of superiority, they both brandished their weapons and charged forward.

Dai Changhao’s heart filled with fear; he had no will to fight any longer. Swinging his sabre, he barely parried Lin Qiangguang’s attack. However, immediately after, Captain Hu’s rod swept across!
