Chapter 683: Chapter 681: You Can Call Me Zombie King_1

"What’s so strange about that?"

Ah Fu smacked his lips as if he was savouring the taste of the parasite.

Crunch, crunch, crunch~

His mouth moved, the hard shell of the parasite under Ah Fu’s steel teeth was bitten until it kept making "crunch" sounds. Suddenly, a "plop" and a smear of black and yellow liquid flowed from the corner of Ah Fu’s mouth. It was evident that the parasite Ah Fu had just stuffed into his mouth was completely crushed by him, a sight that would make anyone nauseous.

Tang Ye couldn’t help but frown. Everyone has a weakness, and his was bugs! No matter whether they were alive or zombies, he was just afraid of those creatures with numerous legs! Like cockroaches and the like.

No particular reason, it was just that their shapes and the limbs made Tang Ye feel an uncontrollable disgust.

In no time, Ah Fu spat out a chunk of shell that wasn’t entirely broken down, and mumbled, "These bugs are only tasty in the head, the bodies are flavorless."

Having said that, he raised his head and looked into the darkness, clearly seeing each parasite hiding in the deepest part.

"Boss, there are no other paths here."

In this space the size of a basketball court, there wasn’t a single flesh tunnel. If it weren’t that Ah Fu had broken open the meat wall at the back, this place would have been closed off. One could wonder how long these parasites had been living here.

"Ah Fu, continue to break down the wall in front! There ought to be some kind of zombie that is the nest, its head should be right beneath!"

"Got it!"

Ah Fu responded, stepping forward. As the parasites in the darkness sensed him approaching, they hurriedly scattered in fear, squeaking non-stop. They were clearly terrified of this giant man, Ah Fu.

"Behave, or I’ll eat you!" Ah Fu, somewhat pleased with himself, roared a few times and swung his fists at the wall!

Plop!

The internal flesh of the nest once again flew around, disintegrating under Ah Fu’s immense power and scattering all over the place. Seeing this rotten meat falling from the meat wall of the nest, Tang Ye was increasingly confident that the nest was a zombie!

Unlike the previous times Ah Fu had broken through, this time Ah Fu had excavated for quite a while. The flesh was dug out piece by piece, and by now, Ah Fu had dug out a tunnel eight meters long. The violently dug hole was full of pits and depressions, quite a gruesome sight.

"This time it’s a little thick, huh?" Ah Fu stared for a moment, then pushed forwards. In a few minutes, he had dug out a tunnel about two meters long.

Squish, squish.

Tang Ye kicked away the rotten meat that Ah Fu had dug out and walked through the blood-soaked tunnel. After emerging, he found himself at the dead-end of a tunnel. On the other side of this dead-end, another fleshy flower as tall as a person grew, with the stigma gently swaying.

He glanced to the right and found that the tunnel went upwards. Ah Fu asked, "Boss, should I keep digging?"

"Keep going," said Tang Ye.

Just as Ah Fu turned around to start digging, Tang Ye’s eyes flickered, he suddenly realized there was an additional consciousness in his mind, broadcasting a series of faint messages.

This was only possible with the establishment of a psychic link between zombies! And these messages were electromagnetic waves being communicated between each other, which gave an indication of the subject’s thoughts. Once Tang Ye established a psychic link with another zombie, he can get a vague idea of its thoughts from these electromagnetic waves.

The information this consciousness was giving him was a bit vague and hard to express in Chinese. But the content seemed to be akin to a form of address, if he had to put it into Chinese, it would be pretty similar to "my dear".

"My dear... please... do not destroy... my body...&#@@&%"

"Who are you?" Tang Ye frowned, the other party’s information was too blurry, and it was intermittent, it was hard to understand. It was like a mute trying to talk to you, and even stuttering on to top of that!

"I... cannot comprehend who I am, you are... in my body%&#... please my dear... do not destroy..."

"You are the nest!" Tang Ye realized, and at the same time, Liang Hanyang and Ah Fu both growled, then Liang Hanyang was the first to shriek at Tang Ye, "Mr. President, no, a zombie has made a psychic connection with me, it can actually initiate a connection with me! That means,..." Liang Hanyang’s face showed a terrified expression, as he continued anxiously, "That means it can control me! Ah! Please, no!"

"Why are you panicking?" Tang Ye glanced at Ah Fu, who also looked a bit strange, appearing both puzzled and curious.

"It’s the nest, you don’t have to worry..." Tang Ye’s voice fell a little, able to make a psychic connection with him so easily, and he was not entirely sure of the reason behind it. If Liang Hanyang’s prophecy was true, they’d be in big trouble!

"Nest, are you sure?" Liang Hanyang looked at Tang Ye skeptically, and Ah Fu also looked a bit panicked. He clearly understood that high-level zombies can easily control lower-level zombies, after all, Ah Fu used to do this often, taking over Gujin Base was exactly accomplished by him and Liang Hanyang controlling tens of thousands of zombies to intimidate the original leaders of the base.

Tang Ye nodded, not saying anything, and sent a message to the psychic body of the nest.

"You are the nest?"

The other party was silent for a while, Tang Ye felt it was mulling over, not understanding what "nest" meant, or even what "mother" and "nest" meant.

"I... do not know~ I am from here, belong~ my dear please do not destroy... hehe."

The messages being transmitted by the nest were intermittent, but Tang Ye could still roughly understand the gist of it. However, judging from the dialogue with the nest, it seemed to have a high degree of intelligence. It was even able to engage in conversation with him. Ah Fu, when he was at Level 5, was far from clear-headed. If he hadn’t drained Yinxiang’s life, he wouldn’t have gained consciousness.

"You are called a nest because you produce my kind," said Tang Ye, continuing to communicate with the nest.

The other party’s emotional status seemed to have some ripples, sending Tang Ye a series of chaotic messages. After a while, the nest’s emotions settled back down.

"So, my name is... nest? ... Is that... a name? And... what is%#... these?"

Tang Ye nodded and said, "Yes, your name is the nest, and these things are your kind, including those outside. They are called zombies, and I am also a zombie."

"Oh #&@~ so, they are called... zombies... they are your... kind, so... what about me?"

"You are also a zombie, also my kind, but our types are not the same. Nonetheless, we are all zombies." Tang Ye smiled and said, as long as he could control the nest. As for why it was able to establish a psychic connection with him so freely, it might be because of some special abilities it possesses.

"So, I am also a zombie... my name is the nest, but... what about& you?"

"You can call me the Zombie King, because I am the king amongst the zombies!"
