Chapter 36: Juicy Daughter
Chapter 36: Juicy Daughter
Meng hao then Heard the cries of both Wang mei and su mei as he opened his eyes from his dream he cursed " Damm it you bastards can’t you let this lord dream of himself being so handsome and cool"
Saying that in reality he didn’t gave them any time and killed them all including both Wang mei and su mei as well as those qi gathering cultivators. With just a last try of intimating him remained " My mother won’t let you off"
At that time in Ice Embodiment palace. A women wearing luxurious clothes woke up, as she hears the sound of a token being broken she released her aura and her aura overflowing in room destroying everything she shouted " You dare"
Meanwhile in the jungle:
The mountain wind howled gently across the rugged valley, sweeping away the last remnants of battle. Blood soaked the rocks, steaming faintly beneath the golden light of the setting sun. Meng Hao stood silently before the two lifeless bodies at his feet. Their faces were frozen in fear, their eyes wide open, as though unable to believe that death had come so swiftly.
He stared at them for a moment longer, his gaze calm, detached—as if he were observing livestock after slaughter. The stillness around him contrasted sharply with the chaos that had occurred just minutes before. Faint wisps of spiritual energy lingered in the air, remnants of the techniques used in their final, futile struggle.
Meng Hao exhaled slowly and muttered under his breath, "Now that I’ve killed them, it’s better not to touch their belongings. Who knows what hidden methods their sects might have left behind? Tracking talismans, soul marks, karmic threads..."
He narrowed his eyes, taking a careful step back from the corpses.
"It’s best to play it safe," he whispered to himself. "At least until I become the strongest through dual cultivation. Once I stand at the peak, none of their sects will dare chase me."
A sly smirk crept across his lips as his thoughts shifted. "Speaking of dual cultivation... my next target should be Li Hong, the mother of Li Yao. If her daughter was that juicy, how much more delicious must the mother be?"
His eyes gleamed with lust and anticipation. He licked his lips unconsciously, a small string of saliva hanging at the corner of his mouth as he fantasized. But just as the thought reached its peak, a sudden sound echoed in his mind like a divine chime.
Ding!
The familiar system voice chimed crisply in his ears, emotionless and mechanical:
[Ding! It has been detected that someone has strong killing intent toward the host. Would you like to check the source?]
Meng Hao blinked, his fantasy shattered. His face turned serious. "Killing intent?" he muttered. "Someone wants to kill me?"
With a thought, he ordered, "System, show me."
The translucent system panel opened before him, floating mid-air with glowing text:
[Host Threat Alert]
Name: Zi Wei
Age: 756 years
Cultivation Level: Middle stage of the Nascent Soul Realm
Favourability: -4
Note: -4 favourability signifies that the target harbors extreme hatred and is willing to sacrifice anything to kill you.
Reason: You killed her only daughter. Zi Wei sees her daughter as the light of her life, the one she cherished above all else. With her death, you have destroyed her world. She desires your death above all things and will pursue you without rest.
Current Status: Zi Wei does not yet know your exact location or whereabouts. She has only seen your face.
The moment Meng Hao read the panel, his heart sank slightly. "What the hell?" he muttered. "It makes sense that she would hate me... but how the hell does she know what I look like?! I didn’t touch anything. I left no spiritual trace behind. I even avoided looting their storage bags just in case!"
His brows furrowed, and a cold sweat formed on the back of his neck.
"It seems I’ve underestimated the methods of the cultivators in this world," he muttered, eyes narrowing with renewed caution. "I thought being careful was enough, but they’re far more cunning... and far more dangerous."
A long silence followed as he glanced once more at the two corpses, then turned and walked away without looking back. Each step was measured, silent, and wary. As the shadows lengthened, he vanished into the dense forest nearby, his mind already working through countermeasures and precautions.
Far away, back in the Heaven Gathering Sect, the atmosphere was quiet and serene.
In a secluded residence within the outer disciples’ region, a soft groan echoed as the first rays of dawn filtered through the paper windows. Silken sheets rustled slightly, and beneath them, a slender figure stirred. Li Yao, once the pride of her generation, opened her eyes slowly.
Her lashes fluttered like dragonfly wings as she blinked, adjusting to the soft morning light.
The first thing she noticed was her body—warm, tender, and sore in ways that reminded her of what had transpired just hours ago. Her cheeks flushed slightly, a mischievous yet satisfied smile forming on her lips.
She glanced around and realized she was alone in the bed, her robes carelessly tossed onto the floor, her body wrapped in a soft white blanket. Her skin beneath was bare and still radiated the warmth from the night’s intense activities.
"Finally," she whispered, her voice dreamy and affectionate, "I’ve made Junior Brother mine... completely mine."
Her hand gently caressed the spot beside her on the bed where Meng Hao had laid hours ago. A sense of possessive joy filled her heart as she bit her lip gently, the memory of his hands, his body, his strength flooding her senses.
"Even though I might have to explain a few things later... it doesn’t matter much," she murmured. "The important thing is—I’ve achieved my goal. Junior Brother... from now on, you are mine. No one else can take you away."
She chuckled softly, rolling onto her side as her fingers trailed along the edge of the pillow he had used. Her eyes sparkled with obsession, and a dark glint flashed within them.
She wrapped the blanket tighter around herself, savoring the lingering scent he had left behind. Then, after a few moments of basking in the afterglow, she sat up, combing her hair back with her fingers and calling out softly:
"Master... Master, where is Junior Brother?"
Her voice echoed in the room, but there was no response. She frowned slightly and stood, pulling her robes over her naked body and walking toward the hallway with long, graceful steps.
Outside the room, the sun had already risen fully, and disciples moved about, beginning their daily routines. Li Yao paid them no mind. Her thoughts were still on Meng Hao—the man who had unknowingly stirred something fierce and unrelenting in her heart.
She couldn’t let him slip away. Not now. Not ever.
Meanwhile, in a distant mountain range veiled in mist, a cold cave deep within the Red Blossom Valley trembled with spiritual pressure. Inside, a woman clad in deep purple robes sat cross-legged. Her eyes were closed, her face beautiful yet severe, like a sculpture carved from jade.
Suddenly, her breathing turned erratic. Her spiritual energy flared like a wildfire, cracking the stones around her. Her eyes snapped open—burning with fury, loss, and killing intent.
Zi Wei’s voice was like thunder, shaking the very chamber.
my daughter... gone."
She clenched her fists so tightly that blood trickled from her palms. Her aura, heavy and dreadful, spread outward like a storm cloud. All the flowers within a mile radius wilted instantly, as if mourning along with her.
"Whoever did this," she whispered, "will pay. No matter who you are, no matter where you run—I will find you. I will destroy you."
She stood, her long black hair flowing like a river of darkness down her back, and her spiritual sense spread outward in all directions.
Somewhere out there... she could still feel a trace of her daughter’s last fear, her last emotions before death.
And within that final cry... was a face. A young man’s face burned into her mind by a final moment of hatred.
"You dare," she growled. "You dared to harm the one I birthed, raised, loved. I don’t care how long it takes—I will hunt you until you beg for death."
