Chapter 584: Despite the enemy’s numbers being 293, they fall in a single strike
On one side of the Mountain Villa.
Several black-robed figures, gliding through the air like bats, swept across with long graceful arcs. They moved incredibly fast and in the blink of an eye reached the battlefield, clashing with the Biological Armor Team that had just charged in from the side.
From a high vantage point looking down.
Members of the Eternal Sleep Sect were pouring out crazily, their black and white robes interweaving, resembling rolling dark clouds. In the center of these clouds, two armored squads pierced through like sharp swords, their ferocious and robust machinery shimmering with a dangerous glow under the moonlight. The two sides entwined and tore at each other, unleashing astonishing Strength and Speed in a moment, like two ant colonies waging war against each other.
The black-robed and white-robed individuals, with a mere thought, unleashed the telekinetic power that was expanding and strengthening within their minds. They created visible semi-transparent shockwaves that rippled through the air and struck the two armored squads. The ground thundered, concrete cracked, and dust exploded into the air.
The mighty Biological Armor from the Six Greats was equally relentless, instantly entering a state of complete cellular energy eruption. The machinery expanded, roaring forward with each step, and ferociously charged into the crowd.
Many white-robed figures were sent flying through the air, coughing up blood, meeting instant death upon impact.
However, as one robust set of Armor plunged deeper into the crowd, it was immediately swarmed by the Eternal Sleep Sect. Particularly, two black-robed figures shifted their gaze at the same time, cold light shining in their eyes like dazzling stars. Boom! Boom! Two enormous telekinetic hands roared through the air and smashed onto the machinery.
The Armor shattered on the spot, with blood splattering from its crevices.
"The strength of the Eternal Sleep Sect has surged suddenly!"
"It must be related to that source of fluctuation in the Deep World deep within the Mountain Villa!"
In the center of the battlefield.
A blue Armor, entangled in a high-speed battle with two black-robed figures, caused sparks and fragments to scatter upon collision, creating fist-sized craters when striking the ground. The Hurricane Team Captain displayed a look of gravity, feeling the difficulty of this mission.
Originally, according to the plan of the Six Greats.
They should have been able to crush through like rotting wood, directly annihilating the Eternal Sleep Sect, and effortlessly obtaining the Divine Flesh. However, after the mutation, the adversary’s Strength had surged and together with the large number of ordinary Cult Members of the Eternal Sleep Sect, it felt like being stuck in a quagmire.
"Retreat!"
"Bang!"
Another collision, and the three figures each staggered back several steps.
The Hurricane Team Captain took a deep breath, blue particles swirling around the large, formidable knuckle dusters on his arms like two little serpents.
He clenched his fists, ready to continue fighting with all his might.
The very next second, the Hurricane Team Captain’s expression changed. It was because from the direction of the depths of the Mountain Villa, another two black silhouettes shot out. One was wearing a purple glowing bracelet, the other gripping a golden ring, both suddenly expanding a circle of milky-white telekinetic shields from their centers. Any Biological Armor they hit were sent flying out, smashing through walls. They charged forth, their target clear.
"Not good!"
The Hurricane Team Captain felt his heart sink, about to order a full retreat.
"Ahhhh!!!"
Over everyone’s heads, suddenly a shrill scream of someone rapidly approaching was heard.
Looking up.
One could see a bloodied, indistinct humanoid figure drawing an arc across the dark night sky, dragging a faint trail of red mist as it plummeted.
"Boom!"
The figure crashed into the center of the battlefield, creating a deep pit on impact.
Four black-robed Hypnotist specialists stopped in their tracks, their gazes fixed in the direction of the impact, pupils trembling. Inside, there was a mangled corpse with most of its body blown apart, leaving only a shoulder and a relatively intact head.
The mask had fallen off, revealing that familiar face.
"Is that Liu Hong!?"
"How could he..."
The black-robed figures trembled, their brows deeply furrowed.
"Bang bang bang bang bang..."
Not far away, just beyond a wall.
Everyone looked over and saw numerous white-robed figures flying into the sky like cannonballs, exploding in mid-air. Shrill screams filled the air.
"Thud!"
A wall collapsed, spraying debris.
"Whoosh!"
A massive dark shadow slammed down with a sharp whistling sound.
The four black-robed individuals focused their gaze and instantly gasped in shock.
It was a huge white marble column with a diameter of several meters, forcibly torn from a building and used as a weapon. The marble column’s surface was smeared with many viscous fragments of indistinguishable flesh and blood, evidently having killed an unknown number of people. Being crushed by this column was akin to a brutal punishment.
"Swoosh!"
The next second, within the dust cloud.
A formidable figure landed like a cannonball, right next to the marble column. Bai Xiao slowly raised his head, his muscular arms pressing against the heavy stone. He looked at the four stunned black-robed individuals standing still with incredulous expressions.
Suddenly, he cracked a grin, revealing his pale, sinister teeth.
"Hello."
The next second.
Bai Xiao roared low, arms encircling, and began wielding the several-ton marble column. The incredibly heavy object, now seeming like a stick that even a monkey could easily play with, whipped up a fierce gust of wind.
"And now, goodbye!"
"Bang!"
The giant figure twirled the column, his arms rotating at high speed. The sound of the wind became a sharp howl, the surrounding air visibly twisted into vortices. In an instant, he lunged forward, and the marble column, like a cannonball, hurtled away with the force of thousands of pounds towards the distance.
